For those who want to try it - the last quest is not finished yet, so I recommend not to advance the story once Golden Globes Radio is active. Save it there and do some Nuka Ride side missions like visiting the tattoo shop, visiting the Overboss or adopting the slave Chip Morse, or unlocking the Nuka Bar.

 

The apartment adds new furniture as you win the new missions, but if you use the Creation Kit you will see everything when you want to edit the cell.

A detail: The apartment has a mailbox outside, in case you want to put a holotape there.

That link is not working for me. Is the file perhaps set to private?

I will reconsider where to put the terminal in that case. Putting it in the apartment was my lazy way of gatekeeping it behind a later part of the story. I might have to make it function the correct way instead, with quest conditions. The terminal would make more sense in the filming studio anyways.

There is a lot of space in the apartment, especially upstairs on the second floor, there is a hallway. And also near the kitchen.

I encountered a bug. I just got my apartment. Then did the Mason Pay Respects mission and completed it. The misc quest journal entry disappears. But now Mr. Corsican won't talk to me. I tried a couple of different outfits. I tried loading back and recompleting Pay Respects.

What mission or scene is supposed to play next? I want to look at its conditions to see which one I am not meeting. But, I can not tell which one comes next. This is a fresh install of 3.0 beta with very few mods.

You should hear from a random raider that the Shank is looking for you...so go around until it does.

Few of the bugs I found(playing modded Fallout obviously so hopefully other users will pitch in with the info if this happened to them or not)

-A few costumes are borked in the upper torso parts(inside of boobs/back and shoulders(first three costumes to be precise...tried the bs multiple times, the problem persists(all NR clothes did fit like a glove before this update). I hope it is something that I fucked up but im not seeing it.  

-Had a small bug with Solomon going from the shack to his predetermined path in the diner mid initializing scene .After reload it worked fine. Same with William(and this time I will lose my mind because the bug does not stop). From the moment I talked to the Corsican he entered in a loop where he talks to me while going back to the original position(had to movetopc at least 5 to 10 times(game crashed just after my character is going to faint during his mission). So to give more precise info: In NW, Goodneighbor, and the Atom cats he enters into the above mentioned loop while he is normal during the fusion core part). Standing in front of him stops him for only so long.

 

This said everything else is top notch. Your attention to detail and general flare and enjoyment are really visible in this update. Thank you for this chef kiss of a mod. ?

I think I figured out the problem.

I had a save from immediately before Pay Respects starts. I loaded it. Started talking to Corsican. He walked away mid dialogue. I have noticed that he does that sometimes. When I tried to talk to him again he ignores me.

I think this scene only plays one time. And at the very end of it is when Becoming a Pornstar shows the quest complete notice. If Corsican or the player interrupts this scene, they get stuck. I did not realize I was stuck until a while later. After completing Pay Respects.

William has a Package that forces him to stay where he appears. He shouldn't move. Some mod may be conflicting. Gamaramdi did not have that problem.

She does look like this. Eh bloody hell, I do believe I am not running any mod that may conflict with NW dlc. Ill experiment some more and see if I can finish the quest(with moveto pc if needed).

Thanks. I have looked at the conditions and it seems safe to uncheck the "Say Once" box.

Managed to finish it after a few more moveto pc(not sure what could be the cause of him going bonkers). WIll edit this post as I encounter bugs(If i encounter them). Clothes are all CBBE

You can share your list of mods if you want.

 

 

I'm not saying that Sexual Harassment is the problem, but mods like that tend to put their packages on other actors and make them behave differently.

Well well well....I might or might not(actually 100% have) have sexual harrasement active(which activated on its own a few times during the playthrough). So that is going unchecked while on the NR playthrough. Just finished Overboss round 2 no bugs at all. Will let you know if there are some quirks in the rest of the content. And once I get some sleep im am going to test how William behaves without SH active.

Ok a little over 13 hours of content in a sort of fast run through Nuka Ride, Congratulations, great work.

And a level 14 avatar with a lot of caps, without the need to shoot anyone.

I like wHOaMiEH's idea of editing the post if you find bugs. I'll keep this one updated.
 

1. Is Music meant to have alternate dialogue depending on your outfit? No matter what I wore she repeatedly commented on how ridiculous my boss dressed me. I did accept the Williams outfit earlier in the quest. Perhaps that triggers the comments and not the current outfit. Or maybe thats her only dialogue. Regardless this is a minor bug if it even is one.
2. When Adolf abducts me I get this popup: "Error: Player shockcollar not found!". But I do have the latest RealHandcuffs installed. And the RobCo Shock Collar from that mode does get equipped. Then later unequipped. Seems like a harmless error.
3. The Nuka Cop hat needs to hide the "Top Hair" slot, or else the top of the persons hair clips through. When you're not a platinum blonde this is especially noticeable.
4. A number of skin-tight outfits have clipping issues (FusionGirl). I have been enlarging the meshes a bit here and there in BodySlide. Do you want me to upload them? For what it's worth, my body preset is pretty tame, it is mostly just the default Fusion Girl Vanilla preset that comes with FG and attempts to mimic the vanilla bodies proportions.

SH is just one example. There may be other mods that can also override packages abruptly. By the way I have tested the CBBE files and they have all worked for me. I only have normal CBBE, I think there was a new one, 3BBB or something like that, but I rather use normal FG that already has everything.

Oh, I have to do a dialogue variant with normal clothes because now there is no variant. I usually take it for granted that you wear Nuka Ride clothes, but it's nice to have a little variety.

 

About Adolf. I think there are many scripts running at that moment where you go to the cross. Sometimes the character goes to the cross without clothes (which is what I want). Other times with clothes on. I'm going to see how I can optimize it.

 

Soon I will upload another version with some minor fixes. But the most important is that now the Overboss will give you the choice to "play a game" or "sit in the woodhorse". I want to give that mission a little more variety because you have to do it four times to get all the rewards.

Heyas, i seem to have a conflict with 'Sanctuary Lives Again' , and it makes this mod kindof unplayable. I get to the bridge, the truck is there...but no protectron anywhere as far as i can tell. he's just gone. I've tried changing where this mod is in my load order multiple times, same result. Hoping someone can help me figure this out, thank you in advance!

I think those kinds of mods need to take higher priority than Nuka Ride.

You can use console commands to move the robot to you. Try to click on him for its id while console is open. If you are unable to get it accurate enough because of other stuff in your way, you will need to look in your load order for the position of the mod in the load order. The first two numbers will be the position of the mod, and someone here can post the rest of the id. Once you have the full id, open console, then type "prid robots id" then enter and then moveto player. Maybe the truck itself is part of the mod, I forget at the moment and cannot look. If it is, you can get the first two numbers from that.

Type help charon 0 npc, you'll get the 2 first digits right, mine in my load order "f6" the rest replace them with the code you see on the pic xx001071, so prid xx001071 and moveto player.
