I know it's a lot of people's favorite, but my mind just can't accept it. Right now, Nuka Ride is Norita and Slavers is Nora.

Try to look at it from the other side. Commonwealth Slaves is just the beginning of her journey. Nuka Ride is a development.

After completing Commonwealth Slaves, Nora is left alone. In the original story, everything was taken away from her-her family, her child, her hope. Her son in the original plot is a moral freak who experimented on his own mother. Shaun's only goal was to put a relative on the post of director of the institute. Shaun helped her wake up from her cryosleep only when he found out that he was dying of an illness. In the finale of the original plot, with any ending, she is left with nothing. Bethesda clearly hates Nora, and forces her to lose everything, taking away her last hope, mockingly leaving her with only a synthetic copy of her slightly grown son.

In Nuka Ride, she can find her family and hope for the future again, which she cannot get in the original story. At the same time, Commonwealth Slaves explains why she hates super mutants and raiders so much, and Nuka Ride reveals important aspects of Shaun and Maxon's secret lives, which helps explain her subsequent choices found in the original plot.

In addition, Nuka Ride is a great start for mods such as Depravity and Project Valkyrie. Nuka Ride gives you the opportunity to understand why Nora can keep Kellogg alive, why she finds a reason to replace Maxon with Sarah, and why she likes the idea of uniting all the factions, taking them under her control, including the institute, ignoring her  sneaky son. After all, it is in Nuka Ride that she learns a lot of important things, and also learns from Colter the art of managing people, the ability to become strong and ruthless against enemies. But, at the same time, Nuka Ride can become a place where she can always return. Her home, where her new family can be waiting for her.

PS. Besides, Commonwealth Slaves doesn't have a sequel without Nuka Ride. It still leaves the same hopelessness as in the original plot. And Nuka Ride still doesn't have a sane beginning on Nora's path. And the Commonwealth Slaves, with the path of the eternal slave, is still a dead end.

Nora's Route and Norita's Route are two different plots. Even if they are similar in many ways. And both of them are important. It just so happened historically that both of these stories are in the same pack.....

1. Can I keep apparel (suits, heels, jewels etc.) after completion, in case I uninstall this mod?

2. Can I go back to the main vanilla game without uninstall NR after completion? I know in this case I will not be able to play vanilla Nuka World story but I am not interested at all (played tens of times).

If uninstalled you do not get to keep the accessories.

Yes you can go back to the main game, (Commonwealth) but if you use the tram to reenter Nuka World it will shut down NR, so use the scooter, and you can take your sister to be a follower if desired.

Thank you Tartarus for tips!

Man, I don't even want to look at the poll on Patreon 😭 I know it's a lot of people's favorite, but my mind just can't accept it. Right now, Nuka Ride is Norita and Slavers is Nora.

A bit sad to hear but understandable and expected. To quote myself from earlier in the thread -

Maybe it makes sense to have NR be fully focused on Norita going forward, and then flesh out Slavers with a Nuka World expansion (perhaps also featuring the Overboss) where we can see Nora engage in more hardcore versions of things we would have wanted her to do in Nuka Ride - especially if you're lacking motivation and inspiration to write for Nora in NR.

I'm not trying to presume your long-term plans for Nora's NR, but from my perspective as somebody who has been patiently waiting for meaningful updates to Nora's route, the writing on the wall has been there for a while. Maybe inspiration will strike at some point in the future, but I think using Slavers as a vehicle to extend Nora's journey into Nuka World (and beyond) might be more satisfying for all involved than trying to maintain that semi-oppressive edge in NR - because if we're being honest, I think that edge is the primary reason why most Nora route enjoyers became Nora route enjoyers.

Thanks. I really tried to do something for Nora, but I just didn't have the time. That's why I worked on content for *Slavers*, since Nora is the main character there.
