AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod

Thanks @JB.

Considering how fast you are releasing new content and features, I need to ask: is it safe to simply update the mod during the playthrough? Do I need to do anything special or simply download and overwrite the files?

Hello, I cannot seem to fix the aaf 68 percent for the life of me, without the nukaride mod it works fine but once activated it gets stuck at 68 percent. Nuka ride works with 3.2.4 but not with the version 4.2.3 or 4.2.2 what is the difference between these versions? if i decide to play with 3.2.4 what am i missing?

You can update without problems. These updates are just to include new idles and new options, some of which only take effect at certain moments.

Update Savage Cabbage, you can see that my mod wants to use a couple of animations that your outdated version doesn't have... hence the error.

I fixed my previous issue with the magic of just reinstalling everything.

I'm having a new one though. It's not game breaking, but it is annoying.

Does anyone else have to hit E like 10 times to talk to the NPC's with this mod? It doesn't happen anywhere else

Don't you have a mod that modifies your character's headtracking? Like Player Comments or similar.

so while on the playthrough i cant seem to interact with leonard, specifically talk to him, he is stuck on the quest a new ride just finished talking to william and trying to get a cheap fusion core

I just finished Nuka Ride yesterday.  Man, what a ride... Have to admit I've not felt so sad, slightly angry and a bit disappointed about ending the game in a looong time.

But in a good sense! I wanted to play more and sudden realisation that I will not be able to interact with those characters again or see more of the story made me feel kinda hollow inside. More polish and spit shining here and there and this already great mod will be a masterpiece.

Thanks for the ride @JB. It was a hell of a one... in all positions >;)

I'm on a mobile right now but I'll write up a short summary of my impressions and a bit of feedback on certain parts of the mod a bit later when I'm back at the desktop.

He have a "return to the Diamond-city" dialogue only

Can anyone please inform me whether I need the wasteland workshop, contraptions workshop,  vault tec workshop or some combination thereof to use this mod? All I see in the requirements is "workshop" and I don't own any one of the expansions.

He should charge alot more to return which you can then do the scene instead, if none of the options lead to being able to film the first scene something must have gone wrong somewhere

Oh, understand. Thank you.

You should get the flyer from a red eyebot floating around just after you emerge from Vault 111 at the start of the game. You need to activate it yourself though, it doesn't initiate any conversation and you just receive the flyer without any prompts. Check your Misc inventory for "Job offer!" note. Quest starts after reading it.

The main page at the beginning states wasteland workshop and automaton.   However, most modders have all three by now, so you may find out you need another one while playing.

Keep in mind that this mod, while a very good one, is still the work of one person (and a few helpers along the way) and JB monitors this thread alot, so if you find out that your game breaks because you don't have "contraption workshop" then you can post it and it will be added.

That said, hopefully you can tell a couple of things from this forum:

1. This mod has significant mod requirements.    I am not certain but I think the minimum number of mods you will be running (all the requirements and their requirements) will be over 40 or more.

2. You should be comfortable with Body slide usage (I have had to build a few newer outfits for my CBBE non Anime style shape....yes I know...I should be using TWG or FG but hey, CBBE was my go to for a very long time)

3.  You should know how to manipulate AAF (I routinely have to "strip" my avatar during some scenes via the AAF menu)

4. I am pretty sure you will need vault tec workshop for parts of the Institute quest.

5. This is a work in progress and while it is on version 4, there are only a few people who have read every line of dialogue and code.

6.  Comments and bug reporting is welcome, but be sure you know how to use Buffout 4 and/or comfortable using the command line prompt

7.  This is a linear storyline mostly so be prepared to complete the entire NR in your playthrough, rather than your search for Shawn.....hey....what does this settler want ohh   go find a new sniper rifle on the other side of the map...sure....

I will say that this mod is one of the best.   JB did a great job building lore and role playing back into the Nuka World content.  He also took many of us back to our FO1/FO2 days when gaming was allowed to be fun.   So, this is worth the bit of pain to set up a working system.

I made a patch for DX Pornstar Fashion, adding keywords to 6 articles of clothing from that mod, so the player would be recognized as pornstar by Nuka Ride NPC's while wearing any of them (or all at once). I made it since the keywords couldn't be added via Armor Bench in game.

Affected clothing: Pornstar Underwear, Pornstar Top, Pornstar Socks Low, Pornstar Socks High, Pornstar Purse, Pornstar Skirt.

Jewellery and a collar were not affected (I saw no reason for it).

I also added high heel sound to the Pornstar Underwear as the original mod used vanilla foot step sound and that was just so off, I couldn't stand it.

Requirements:

Nuka Ride (obviously)

DX Pornstar Fashion

High Heel Sound - Fallout 4 Edition

The patch is an esl-flagged esp, so it won't take space in your load order. Install with any mod manager or drop it into Data folder. It should be sorted after all 3 required mods.

I may set up a separate mod page for this patch later, unless @JB. prefers to add it directly to downloads on Nuka Ride.

is there a way to skip a certain quest using console? I'm stuck on the a new ride quest because a character Leonard moore will not talk to me, he just walks around i have tried enabling and disabling him and tried the progress past him by stealing the cheap fusion core but nothing seems to work. i used to have player comments and head tracking but removed it started a brand new save and still cant get past him cause the guy will not interact with me, i brought mirelurks close by to attack him an he did respond then but then he just went back to leaning on the walls of his shop after killing them. it does not give me the option to talk to him its as if he was a ghost, collision is possible but there's nothing to press when i see him. playing on 4.2.3

I got this fixed, if you use gasmasks (Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wasteland) it can cause leonard to be unresponsive. fix by uninstalling.

Who's Shawn? Never heard of him. Ever. Nuh-uh.

Frankly speaking, once done with this mod I have hard time convincing myself to keep playing regular FO4 content... Wasteland is not so colorful or appealing anymore. It left me feeling hollow because I know that I will never be able to experience it for the first time ever again. Oh, how I wish there was a similar mod for Skyrim!

Hey I've been enjoying your mod. It's alot of fun to just mess around with instead of just playing the main story. I am curious though on whether or not you've thought about doing a male version, I think it would be a load of fun trying to suduce nisha and mags while aiming to become the overboss. Just thought I'd ask about it

Allright, I'd like to share some impressions and feedback after completing Nuka Ride. I already said what I liked: the story, writing, dialogues, music and the level of integration in the game is top notch, so I won't be going over it again.

WARNING: wall of text incoming. Possible spoilers ahead!

==========

DISCLAIMER:

It was my first time playing FO4 for any length of time and actually the first time I even touched the game since 2015, where I only played to Concord and dropped it like hot garbage as soon as I realised I was being handed over a full set of Power Armor right at the start and it became clear to me that this was not an RPG anymore, but an action shooter. Frankly I don't like Bethesda's take on Fallout franchise and the last game I completed and enjoyed in the series was Fallout 2 waaaay back. No, I didn't like New Vegas. Truthfully I think it's highly overrated, but that's neither here nor there.

==========

SETUP:

I have played on Survival from the get go, having no previous knowledge of anything about Commonwealth and any tricks or tactics about survival or its mechanics and decided to just "feel it".

Basically I, as a player, was as clueless as my character. I purposefully made a character with max Charisma but little anything else.

In a nutshell, she couldn't fight, couldn't sneak, couldn't hack or pick locks and was damn stupid (INT 1, and thank you Sex Attributes for Willpower hacking, that saved my ass a lot), but at least she was pretty.

I dumped all the early perks into Charisma and Endurance trees so she could have better prices, be more persuasive and could eat garbage and drink dirty water without being irradiated constantly, but that was something I did out of necessity of playing Survival without prior knowledge. I had no specific build in mind, I was just making stuff up as was necessary. I think it helped shape her character and motivations for the dive into porn business out of desperation for a safe haven from all the horrors of Wasteland, because she got captured, turned Raider Pet, traumatised and got a really nasty PTSD as a result very early on (thank you, AAF Violate, Raider Pet and Sex Attributes).

Or at least that's how I rationalise it to myself.

So I went thought Nuka Ride from start to finish as an alternative to main story and never touched, visited or did anything with vanilla content past obtaining Dogmeat. And it was probably for the best as Nuka Ride made it play like a completely different game than what FO4 actually is and it gained a lot in my eyes thanks to it.

FEEDBACK:

  • Survival Mode:
  • First off, coming from a Survival Mode perspective there are several moments when the player has looong conversations while being cuffed, most notably with Father at the end of the Institute shenanigans and with Music during whole Poodle business. Normally I enjoyed those conversations but my character was hungry, thirsty and with broken legs and arms (whipping scenes always ended with at least one broken limb. Yes, even with the guard in the mule quest) and I was just desperate to finish the conversation and have the cuffs removed so I could finally access the inventory, eat, drink and heal and just not die. The Father's dialogue is especially long and it felt like a torture. I feel like there should be a break here, the person you're about to talk with uncuffs you and gives you a moment so you can address your needs and only then they start talking.
  • Stuff for Charlotte:
  • You go through all that trouble of obtaining actors and you can't even film anything with Adolf, Cito or Lucy. Basically you're stuck only making flicks with Kells or repeating plumber scene and it gets boring really fast. Would be nice to have the ability to film scenes for Charlotte after each of the actors was acquired. That was probably the biggest disappointment and the biggest complaint I have. Propaganda movie for BoS with Sis and Lucy is fine, but that's nearly at the very end of the whole questline and there's some lost potential here.
  • Nuka Club:
  • There was a lot of talk about PC being able to work in the club but none of that happened as the main quest ended (and quite abruptly too - I was having so much fun, I was not expecting it to end so soon. It genuinely made me angry and sad when the message box popped up). I assume this is something that is still WIP and hope for more content in that area. I like the bunny outfit though and it became my get go outfit for Dugout Inn performances.
  • More places to pole dance:
  • Dugout Inn is currently the only location outside Nuka World to pole dance. Would be nice to have more, for example somewhere in Goodwill? As I said earlier, this was my first time playing FO4 and I have no instinctive knowledge of all the locations like I have with Skyrim, so I don't know if there are other suitable places, but that would be something nice to have.

I still have all the delivery missions for Nissa to complete (only done 3 so far) and haven't invited all the guests from Overboss' party for a full reward, so once I do those and something else comes up, I will post again.

IN GENERAL:

I really, really, really liked the mod and am sad it ended. Wish the whole game would be remade in that fashion but I also understand that is outside of realm of any conceivable possibility.

THANK YOU.

Hey man, thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it! At first I thought that a mod with a lot of dialogue in broken English would not fit well, but the truth is that I am still surprised by the good reception of the mod!

The bad thing about linear mods is what you say: the best experience is usually the first time. And the next new content will only be available once you get to this point in the 4.2.3 version and that I guess throws back a lot of people who already played the mod, so my advice is to have a save from when you finish the mod. To get back to it someday.

Well, each quest took me about a month so that's why I'm not covering much yet. The Nuka Club is something from last year, and I still can't get it to work. Made in Heaven took me two months: specifically the scene where the lab room goes dark and the alarm lights go on took me almost a week. .. Things of not being a programmer and not understanding half of the scripts. ? Luckily Operand and Kaxhat have the patience to help me, and they are not the only ones. I think that in this version there is code from more than 10 different modders who have given me a hand.

If you're curious, you can type "coc NukaStudio" into the console and you'll be able to see the set where new movies will be shot, including one for Cito.
