Problems of Survivor

Facing a issue with Mile Dom. He somehow ended up dead before I could start his quest (dead in front of his house). I can resurrect him and get him as a follower but the initial dialogue doesn't trigger. I starts with "Time for Mile Dom" and I have the choices matching for any follower.

 

Once I have him as a follower, I can do the "Does he want anything" command but that doesn't trigger the quest either. Is there a way to recover this? The save with him alive is almost 16 hours of earlier.

 

Edit: The resurrected Dom's scripts seem broken in general. Like he doesn't walk around or fight during combat.

 

Edit 2: The Let's Talk -> Ask Questions has the 3 questions (goal, life and backgroundd) but immediately jumps to giving the ring to leave the conversation instead of "that's all"

Lets Talk also doesn't have the "Do you need something special". It only goes to "better fuck than talk"

hey DSHV, are you planning on extending New Rockopolis on the next update?

 

I'm really tempted to kill everyone in the town for REASONS but I don't want to miss future content in case I do that

 

EDIT: I only killed the Tygers, Steve (the entrance guy) and a treacherous bald slut and holy shit dude, the other characters recognized what I did, everything got connected in the end. There was even extra dialogue after OOFing the Tygers. Awesome, dude

I tested and everything works. When he dies, his quest goes to stage 100 and all other stages stop working. It's better to reload your save or try resetquest.

No.

Yes, the only person who cannot be killed there is the barmaid, but she can be killed after determining the fate of New Rockopolis. I've been keeping an eye on it. For example, when killing slaves from Steve's quest, the stages are skips to the next slave and so on.

Hi, could anyone help please, as I'm a tad confused? So I pressed the button, did the trial & then the prison part but after visiting Maxon & getting assigned the Toilet Whore duty, in which I'm guessing is Dream Job? no quest appeared in my pip boy. I went to the toilet & cleaned up the piles of dirt but nothing else happened. When I go back to Maxon, the only option is either 'can I serve you Master' or 'can I ask you something'. I went to the classroom & did those brief few quests until all I get is the 'practise whore' option so now I really don't know what to do. How do I get the next quest or am I supposed to just press the button near the toilets to leave & get on with the quests outside? There's no button like the one mentioned near the shelves in Maxon's office to skip the introductory quests that I can see either so I'm kinda stumped.

Old versions of voice patches are working on new versions of the mod. It's just that new NPCs will not be voiced. I don't do the voices, so I can't say when.

The button is on top of the shelves, you can jump to it or use tcl. For Press On you have to meet Piper.

Hi, only the primary main quest of the mod. The secondary main quest is almost unrelated to it, and the ending of tertiary depends on it. The remaining quests are not connected in any way; you can always start them if you know where.

Hmm, I'm not having much luck with getting the new 1.8.2 to work. Every time I try to load a save, the game crashes. No Buffout crash log is being generated. 

I tried disabling the various mods which can muck with script loading (High FPS Fix, Baka Scrapheap, Nvidia Reflex), but no luck. 

I can start a new game just fine, but when I eventually have to load a game or perform some room transitions, the game crashes. Version 1.8.1 doesn't have this problem. 

I also tried using Resaver to clean out v1.8.1 from an old save. I was able to load the old save, but when I went to transition to an indoor cell, the game crashed. 

 

I was only able to get a save to load by disabling about 80% of my mods, so I guess something in there isn't playing well with the new POS. I'll look into it more when I get a chance to see if I can narrow it down more. I wouldn't be surprised if its one of those INVB mods that conflicts with POS. 

 

Btw, I'm still running on the 1.10.163 version of Fallout before that recent patch.

Anyone else able to find that button near the shelves in Maxon's office? Coz I can't, even after tcl & looking for 15 minutes. I really just want to know what happens if I leave. Will the quests proceed as they're supposed to or not?

I just updated this mod to 1.8.2 and now the game is crashing anytime I try to load any save. I'm wondering if this new update also requires the new next-gen update to run, because I'm currently blocking Steam from updating my game until more mods have been updated for it.

Same here. I think I was able to get saves to load if I disabled like 80% of my load order, but I haven't narrowed down a conflict.

Anyone else getting a 'Failed to extract' error when down loading from downloads to MO2?  Is there a new way to download and I missed the instructions?

Can anyone please explain what's meant to happen during 'Toilet Whore' please. I'm guessing that's supposed to be the 'Dream Job' quest? but it doesn't get listed in my pip boy so I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I went into the toilet but there are no quest markers & even after standing there for 20 minutes, nothing happened. All any of the synth mobsters will say to me is "huh?" so I just don't know what it is I'm supposed to be doing. Talking to Maxon doesn't reveal anything so at this point I'm just getting frustrated. As I also stated, there is no button in his office either so has something not worked installing or something? Both the trial & the prison parts worked fine but after Maxon appointed me Toilet Whore, nothing. I even left & went to visit Piper to see whether Press On would start but nope. When I went back to Maxon he offered no different options. Any assistance gratefully received, thanks.

You can do it as a male, but you have to do the console command: set AAAiamsissy to 1

It's mentioned in the description.

I get that as a fluke sometimes when the file didn't download correctly. I just delete it and try the download again.

Well this mod is packed in a .rar file format, which is a bit less common. You might try using 7-zip to unpack it and then repack it in a .7z or .zip format. If the file is intact, you should be able to do that.
