Replacing Debug.MessageBox() with Debug.Notification() or Utility.wait doesn't work.

My suggestion is that global arrays and other global variables got messed up through some events and MessageBox fixes it somehow.

Maybe globals should be removed as it is in v2.800.

 

Prove that MessageBox did it :)

Here's hoping.  I like the idea of my settlement growing by having it's settlers have kids that grow up (Family Planning Enhanced) and it's a pain in the arse making them do it over and over with the AAF menu until conception happens.

I'm testing this on NG.  My experience is that it will trigger NPCs autonomous acts, including group, solo and creature.   When I enable Player, though, it seems to trigger a loading screen.  Some times the loading screen is, infinite, but sometimes the game recovers.

 

Hope this helps.  I'm happy with what it does for now until you have a chance to update.

Ok, according to Robco Patcher's patreon, he's off playing Starfield for the foreseeable future??

I have an idea (A bit radical, admittedly):

 

Autonomous 106 *always* worked, no matter what conditions you threw at it. It was a TANK.

 

........and it worked IMMEDIATELY, as soon as you got in the game.

 

So, take Autonomous 106, add the 10 person gangbang, make it compatible with NG & call it done.

106 is the shit. If there was ever a mod you could point to that *ALWAYS* worked, it is Auto-106.

HOLY SHIT!!

 

On a lark, I deleted all my saves except the first few, deleted all those mods I never heard of, (Address Library, xSE, Robco Patcher, Lighthouse & Garden of Eden).......

 

deleted 3.06.

 

Installed 106 and...........IT FUCKING WORKED OUT OF THE BOX!!

ROFLMAO.

It was so old, I didn't think it'd work with NG, TBH......

BUT IT DOES! And I'm now a happy camper.

Just wanted to note that I'm selecting the SPID option when installing since Robco hasn't been updated for NG.  Seems to still work - as indicated above - notwithstanding that the description page lists Robco as a requirement.

106 has several authors.

Vinfamy made the original.

LWFlashy made a 106.

......and I think Invictus & Egoballistic made a copy of 106 as well.

 

I have no idea which one works. It's in an "Enhanced" folder but not "redux". I'm inclined, therefore to think it's either Flashy or Ego.

Vinfamy & Flashy are no longer around, but you might try Ego & get lucky.

This one is 270 & 275. You want the other file. It has 106.

Get rid of Address Library, xSE, Robco Patcher, Lighthouse, & Garden of Eden.

If you have X-Cell installed, get rid of that too.

 

.......Then get rid of whichever Autonomy you currently have. 3.01, 3.00, 3.05, 3.06, etc. & REPLACE IT with 106.

3.305 appears to stop working eventually on a 1.10.984 playthrough, producing no interactions at all.  

 

I installed 2.60 on a new 1.10.984 game and it seems to be working consistently, albeit without all the bells and whistles available on a working 3.305.  However, I get an occasional CTD that references the AAF 984 plugin when Autonomy is enabled.  Also, Fast Travel sometimes produces a CTD that references the AAF 984 plugin, if Autonomy is enabled.  No other CTDs on game and no CTDs unless Autonomy is enabled.  In other words, I can initiate with AAF Prostitution, the PC can get harassed with Sexual Harassment or permit a Fudge payment without any problems.  Also, of course, running AAF from the GUI causes no problems.

Disable the mods & go into the game. I think you'll find that everything works.

Happy new year folks.

 

Is there any folks playing with Autonomy by NAF?? Is it working well? If so, which version of Autonomy was deployed?

And if you would, Can you teach me bout your setting of stuffs? Like, anim packs, patch status, load order..sorta things.

Hey @hiro80 ,

 

I've been using Autonomy with NAFbridge and NAFicator since the earliest versions. You will be blown away by how fast and bug-free the animations generated by Autonomy are.

 

Firstly bear in mind that NAFbridge is a Work in Progress, so there are a few bugs and other issues but Panda is working hard to fix those. At this stage NAFbridge is a working beta. Miracles are happening ... the last NAFicator update corrected and compiled the 380+ XML files in my AAF directory down to about a dozen files!

 

There are a couple of issues with Autonomy. I use version 2.8 because it just works, but i believe others are using later versions. Unfortunately the later versions do not have a working blacklist function, and many more bugs, so i stick with V2.8.

 

The most disappointing problem with NAFbridge/Autonomy is that 3P+ animations do not happen. You can still easily generate 3P+ animations with the NAF gui. Locating and using furniture was a problem, but that is now nearly perfect.

 

I use Indarello's patch and all it's required animation packs but at this stage i would not recommend using it. I am hoping later versions of NAFicator will fix the bugs with the Patch that it hasn't fixed already.  Panda recommended trying UAP but i have no experience with that.

 

So overall I find NAFbridge/Autonomy superior to AAF/Autonomy, despite the problems mentioned above. Give it a try!

Thank you for enlightenment. I'm a bit jealous you got it fluently working tehehe

 

Thing is, I have to open it, I'm very pre-noob to all these AAF things(so no need to mention bout NAF, which is newer thing).

I used Autonomy and only that one long while ago in same run of the game now, things seemed to work a while then but occurred many problems like skeleton issue(zex and 3bbb), no erection...major one is NPC(mostly settler) stuck, what can't be resolved with usual easy console command, push with 'Get Out Of My Face' or struggle within my extent of petty knowledge. I had to dismiss it and AAF.

 

And a few days ago I've come to think bring it back. Well, this pain in my ass...even before one time of pleasant Autonomy act happens, some settler shows that symptom.

Now I'm desperate to 'cure' it. Just get rid of that settler and respawn? Well yeah, could do that but that's not the way I want to play my game. And this time, an insignificant vanilla NPC(Janie warwick) get this. Like I said, I need to get things work to make it in order, not to make it better...Tuned off NAFs and on AAFs, to 'cure'. Futile attempts.

 

Now it seems AAF itself isn't working. Home key doesn't bring interface. I thought 'if the NPC is stuck within animation, then let's bring it into other animation', but can't do that.

 

Load Order

Autonomy < AAF  < LLFP(set of scripts...other than that dunno what it is. just a struggle.) < Anim Packs and resources( creature theme<Leito<cabbage)<SoundPack<UAP.

All are very bottom of the order and right pane aligned accordingly.

 

Version Issue?

Out of attempts, All are very up to date. Autonomy 3.3.0/AAF 1.1.1(got it from Discord. Post-feud version. Doesn't matter cuz 161.1 was the same)

 

Possible conflict?

I've found I turned SPID and Robco patcher same time(don't remember atm y I did this) but I don't use perk feature of Autonomy. So installed for that option in FOMOD. 

 

If you read this far, you may got some culprit comes in your thought, or willing to help, graciously? I'll comply.

UAP is what I needed to get the strap-on & Dogmeat's junk to work.

It seems to work just fine, thusfar.
