v2.00 redux

I forgot the newly added script (I have been working on so many mods that I forgot to copy the script to the folder)

AAF_AutonomyEnhanced_v2.70.7z 29.23 kB · 5 downloads

Hello,

Many thanks for the update.

Just to be sure

- the file attached in your post is the same than the file 2.70 attached in the main page (view file) ? Or we have to download this file attached instead of the second one ?

- “FPE will be removing support as well” : playing with the two mods, I suppose that settler can be pregnant if she has sex with another one, even with the new version of the mod : correct ?

Sorry to bother you with these questions but as far as I know, I didn’t have any big issues with the previous version of the mod (lucky me maybe). Thank you in advance.

Is there a way to disable the "I can hear a slapping sound" message?

I haven't tried the latest version, but I want to say you only get that if you have the "i can detect sexual activity" quest active, or maybe it's an MCM for toggle for that feature?

Okay, looks like there's both in fact. In the MCM under Options you'll see a toggle for "Enable Autonomy Enhanced Notifications" which is probably what you want to disable (defaults to ON). On the Data view of your Pip-Boy under the Quests tab look in the miscellaneous category for "I can detect sexual activity from miles away" and turn that active or inactive depending on whether you want quest markers/headings over every scene this mod creates.

I'm still working on my body but will use the latest version today as well.

In the MCM I turned off the advanced notifications. Unfortunately, there is no extra switch for other messages. Unfortunately, the quest only activates or deactivates the marker on the map.

I'd rather not receive any reports at all and let the joys of the wasteland surprise me.

Invictusblade, this mod is amazing and thank you for all your work on it. I'm also looking for a way to turn off the "I can hear a slapping sound" messages that pop up when scenes start. Turning off notifications doesn't seem to do it. Do you know of a fix for this? Thanks again.

I will have a look, it should be toggle via notifications but maybe something isn't working

Hey @Invictusblade thanks so much for looking into it. Is there a hack or a file I can tweak in the meantime to disable the notifications? As a workaround until a new version is uploaded?

I will look into it soon because the option to toggle notifications should work.

I will post an update in a little while because I am also doing an update for ROF and both mods share a script

Is there an option to select the Gender of the NPCs that have sex or is it just going to be all NPCs?

Depending on what you're trying to achieve, there's sliders in the MCM for percentage chance of heterosexual, gay, and lesbian scenes. If you, for example, only want women to have sex then you could set the heterosexual and gay sliders to 0% and the lesbian slider to 100%.

Sweet thank you. I don't have modded female bodies.

Thank you for the update. Does this require a secure save? I hope not a new game?

I have the following setting:

Spoiler

image.png.187434c1325c0317f66ace4bb40c2185.png

AUS = OFF

And yet the sex begins right next to me. Does the setting not work properly or am I misunderstanding something?

I don't know anymore about autonomy, I only really refined some of the parts I didn't actually make the guts of it.

Is there any chance this mod forces an NPC's voice to FemaleBoston? I've got a couple NPCs that are male but don't audibly say their dialogue. They did at one point have autonomy to have sex with each other. I've been completely unable to restore their voice type. Manually using console commands has no effect. I'm assuming the alias quest is stuck which has a "force voice type" option set to FemaleBoston.

[EDIT] Yeah it was the Alias quest. It seemed to be stuck. Stopping it reset the NPC's voices back to normal.

The notifications are off, I'm very happy about that. But is there a way to suppress the AAF hint at the top right when AAF is searching? I always try to overlook it, but it doesn't work. And then the surprise is over ^^
(I know it has nothing to do with the mod...)

I think there's an option in the AAF settings ini. I think it's called "show_busy_indicator". I like the indicator myself because It'll give me a heads up that I might get some stuttering at some point, so i've never tried to turn it off myself. But if i had to guess, that would be the option i'd check.

Ever since I downloaded this mod, new quests never automatically activate when i have no other quest active. even turning off the misc quest doesn't help. this mod also is very hit or miss when it decides to work

Hi

Can anyone explain how to add another race.

In more detail please.

I can find AE_Creatures Quest its just after that it gets a bit confusing

AE_Addon and a message to AE_Addon_String

I've added race to AE addon what do I put in the addon String? Can I just put anything.

Copied I am Human to EA Addon String

But race is not being selected in game

I am using v2.75

I've seen

2. Added Addon Race Support

Added an "other race" option in MCM (help is also located in MCM under option)

This Option requires an addon mod(or editing this mod) to work
1. Open an ESP Editor and load everything

2. Find the Quest AE_Creatures in AAF_AutonomyEnhanced

3. Right click and 'Copy as override into' a new mod

4. add the desired Race Mod as a master to the new Mod

5. Add the desired Race to the AE_Creatures Quest under AE_Addon and a message to AE_Addon_String

6. Save, Enable, Enable in mod, Test, and Play

I have this exact problem, but switching the mod off does nothing and I have no reset quest option in the MCM, am I missing something?

How do I reset the alias quest? (Also tried the console command reset quest for the AE alias quest.
