Yeah... fair point. I just realized it is an ITM.

Using SE version. Started PW from Hero Fame. Whiterun.

 

Served quota (and some overtime). 1 day left. Followed quest marker to report in. When trying to talk to the thane there is no dialog. 

 

How do you report in?

I'm getting two problems with the mod:

 

1. When they take me to the torture chamber to coerce me to become the PW, the scene doesn't initiate. The character is on the cross but the guy just stands there. I have to force end the scene in the debug menu. This isn't too much of a problem as I can bypass it, but still an issue.

 

2. The big one is that whenever they make me the PW my entire inventory is marked as stolen. I tried to turn off the inventory being confiscated in the MCM but that doesn't seem to do anything. Everything is still marked as stolen. I'm liking the mod, but if I can't get this resolved then I can't really use it because turning my entire inventory into trash is big deal. 

 

Any solutions, or had anyone else had this problem?

There should be a dialogue option that you want to pay in money

Not sure since i never have dared to try but you perhaps can cheat in PW under Fame.
Though i never went straight to the Thane.

Yeah that's the fastest way to rack up Fame.  Especially if you have slave tats and have that specificity bonus for tattoos ticked on.   Absolutely love the PW hold tattoos.

I added the SL Fame Framework after PW was already installed and working. It seems PW won't acknowledge that it's there now? Is there a way to get PW to rescan compatible installed mods in game?

It seems that every time confiscated items are returned to me, they are all tagged as Stolen. So I am unable to sell my looted goods except to the very rare few fences. Any ideas?

I too have a same problem a couple others mentioned, when I'm punished I'm sent to a room and bound to an x cross but nothing happens after that. I can't interact with anything, someone is standing near a door but nothing else. Am I missing something?

Yeah... except there isn't. I have even cleared status and became PW in another city. Same issue.

New to skyrim mods, so it's probably something obvious, but I'm having trouble with getting public whore working. Namely, the dialog for the mod isn't firing; I can approach the Jarl of Whiterun, get directed to talk to the Thane and get the dialog prompts for the PW questlines, and become the PW. But I get none of the actual dialog. The thane, jarl and clients just stare in silence until the next dialog prompt pops up, and I just have to guess what they are saying. x)

I am pretty sure what will fix your issue. Many mods need to use a 3rd party mod to slow down the text so that it scrolls in time to give you a chance to read it. What is happening is that the text is blinking past so fast that you barely see it. This is because there is nothing telling the script how to pace itself. 

 

You will need to download Fuz Ro D-Ho  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15109/

You will find that this is often listed as required/essential for many mods that have dialogue in them. The link is for SE. If you are using LE, you can easily look it up. I'll bet that will fix not just the problem with this mod, but many others.

Couple issues ive run into.

1. Some of the animals 'talk' (horses and dogs so far). Which is weird.

2. After being used, the NPC rapid fires diaglog, sometimes 3 or 4 lines. So it does the one when they are finished, but then fires off a bunch just because you are now standing next to you. Not sure if there is a way to add a delay between their dialogs or not.

3. Im not sure if i just havent done enough, but when i was done with my first quota, i wasnt given the key to my collar so i could remove it.

4. Guards will sometimes, randomly attack me. Most of the time its just bare handed, but a couple times its been fully armed.

5. Guards have ( at least twice) stopped me saying i cant carry weapons... when i wasn't carrying weapons. Not sure why.

Did you add the second intimidation speech check in the hero fame start after the thane calls you whore? Lost time it was impossible the succeed.

Two bugs.  I got sent to the thane in Solitude, one of the options was something like "let me guess, this hold is making me a public whore" or something to that effect.  Choosing that one set me up and tattooed me, but when I went back into the Blue Palace the thane kept forcegreeting me with "Finally you're here" or something, trying to set me up as the PW again.  Which I let him do once to see what would happen, and it killed the previous Public Whore Of Solitude quest, losing the progress I had made, and started a new one.   If you don't choose "let me guess", and make him go through it the long way, this doesn't happen.  

 

Second, after clearing up the first bug with a save before becoming the PW and doing it the long way, I left the palace, let some bards use me, then went back in and asked about speeding up my quota.  He sent me to Ironback something, a small bandit camp on the other side of a cliff face from the Steed Stone.  Only four bandits there so I had to go to each one a few times.  When my quota started it said I had already done 8 (I did this quest in Whiterun previously) so I think a variable wasn't getting reinitialized properly, but as soon as I let the first one use me it got reset to 1 and I was able to continue.  Thats not the bug I'm referring to... When I went to the bandit chief to tell her I was done, she said I was a lousy whore and sold me to Simple Slavery.   Haha, that was unexpected.  (I got bought by Devious Cidhna - Vampires, after the head vamp used me once I just cast invisibility and walked out.  Walked back to Solitude naked and barefoot, had to ignore a dragon attacking Rorikstead (I hope everyone is ok!) and went up to the thane in the Blue Palace...)  When I got back I went to the thane to get my stuff back from the bandits, but he didn't have any dialogue to do so.  I coc'ed to PW_HoldingRoom01, but the left Confiscated Items chest was empty, the right one had like 20 things, the NPCs are empty, the Stolen Items chest is empty.   Sooooo, where is my stuff?  Do I need to load a save from before I became Public Whore and start over again?

 

Edit:  I started over, and again they wanted to sell me to SS++, even trying to reload a save three times right before reporting back to the chief, so I guess that decision was already made.  This time I used SQV to look at the quest variables to see what was there, and one was the confiscation chest.  I don't know how to open those remotely like you can with NPCs, so I moved it to me and thankfully all my stuff was there so I took it all back before reporting in to the chief and being sold off.  So I managed a happy ending by cheating a little.  Assuming that chest is the same one in the holding room, something happens between finishing the bandit quest and getting back to the Thane that moves all your stuff somewhere.  Or maybe just deletes it all, I don't know.

HI.

I was wondering if, in one of the next updates it would be possible to get new tatoes taht include all of the cities (one text, one symbol) in one tatoo? Since there are nine holds, if you want to show what a diligent whore you've been it takes all 9 slots on the body (which is the max axcept if there is now a method to go over that) and it prevents you for getting more and gets removed a when another mod needs the space for something.

All tattoos in one is surely an option, but here is another idea. I posted this idea about the tattoos in one of my proposals earlier in the thread.

Short rundown on the "Magic Tattoo":

The tattoos of every hold would use only one and always the same position (example: right breast and right ass cheek). When ever the PC enters the influence area of a hold, the tattoo of that hold is activated (PC need to be PW in that hold). When the PC leaves the hold, the tattoo does not deactivate. If the PC enters a hold, where she is not PW, the last active tattoo stays active. The tattoo is always and only overwritten by the tattoo of the actual holds tattoo, where the PC is PW.

 

I hope i described it half way understandable.

 

Pros: only one slot is used by the mod, Cons: probably difficult to implement??

 

I hope Visio Diaboli will consider this idea, if/when he reworks the tattoo application of his mod. Whatever he decides, PW is already an amazing mod and a must have in my load order.

I maybe misunderstand, what you mean but i use rape tattoos together with other mods. Rape tattoos get applied (only on involuntary encounters) on-top of any tattoo. They also fade over time (fade tattoo mod).

If i misunderstood you, please elaborate more on your idea with rape tattoos.
