I put hooves on Mason's outfit cuz he's dead sexy as a horse and I thought he was worth it. (NSFW file.)

Doing it for the rest would mean doing it (minor pain, relative to all the rest of the work that went into this) AND making sure all the bodyslide freakshow stuff works. Which, OMG.

Don't forget figuring out which BS files to use. Presumably the base refits included with the main BT3 and CBBE downloads, but in theory there's more options, like the CBBE TWB 3BBB stuff (although that's incompatible with ZeX, which in turn means it's incompatible with FF4). ?

I kinda prefer the old Hyena models over the new one. Would it be possibly to upload an optional version of the newest release with the old model instead? If not, how would I go about reverting it myself (without just playing an older version I mean)?

Posted

The hyena assets are all in their own folders. Shouldn't be that hard to sub in the older nifs and texture files. You'd have to facegen them all again.

I figured out why Stockton had no face in my game. Apparently, a mod I have that changes the 'citizen' loot tables was somehow conflicting, I moved the mod to before FFO, and that fixed his face

I would have never imagined a loot tables mod would conflict with model\texture mod

I might have glossed over it somewhere else in this thread, but does anyone have a fix for this?

Using the Lykaios race.

The problem arises immediately after interacting with Shaun

I did some more testing, and ALL the races did this

I think you have the wrong load order. If you use Vortex, you have to sort mods manually, Loot can't handle it.

FFO needs to be at the bottom of the load order.

I'm having the same problem and this does fix it, issue is that while all the other npcs are fixed my character is still like that; unless I start a new game. Though sometimes when I reload it does go back to normal just no tail and the facewear doesn't fit.

Ideally, start a new game, this will guarantee that everything will work properly. If you want to use a saved game when you played as a human (it is not recommended), there will be various problems.

In theory, it could work (not for sure) to load a saved preset of the desired race in the LooksMenu. What race do you want to use?

I'm trying to use the Lykaios race, I'll probably have to start a new game though since I'm on survival.

You can try using the presets that are already stored here. Choose one and customize the look as you like. PS: If the head turns gray it's normal. After saving and loading the game, it will be the same color as the body.

Oh okay I'll give it a try, thanks.

This may be an ID:10T error (I do get those) but... I downloaded all the files then installed them using Vortex. Couldn't tell which ones were the ones I specifically wanted, so enabled them all and deployed. Got message that the plugins FFO_NPC_DLC.esp and FurryFalloutNPCs,esp are missing the masters  FurryFallout.esp and FurryFalloutDLC.esp. I checked through my plug-ins and sure enough they're not there even in disabled form.

What did I do wrong and how can I correct it, please?

Also, is there a way for you to name the files so that we can tell easily which are the ones we want? F'rinstance, I want the NSFW versions but couldn't tell which they were (hence, why I enabled all hoping to weed out the SFW via conflicts).

Sometimes Vortex does not enable plugins.  Check if they are active.

It is best not to start with a gradual installation, first Furry_Fallout, then Furry_Fallout_NPCs and finally Furry_Fallout_DLC_NPCs.

Also, don't forget that only the plugin of the race you want to play for must be active for the Player, the others races plugins must be disabled.

I know and when I checked there before posting my comment, the plug-ins I mentioned are the ONLY plug ins available, even checking for disabled ones. The others simply aren't there. I'm going to try re-installing today and see what happens.  The files to install don't have names that sufficiently say what they are, just names like Furry_Fallout_NPCs.2.1.0.0-010 or Furry Fallout-20230306T191941Z-003. This is why I mentioned having descriptive file names.

ADDENDUM: Well, nothing is working. Re-installed everything, still getting the same message, no other plug-ins for this mod exist whether active or inactive. So... as much as I would love to try this mod out, I'm going to uninstall everything and hope you, or someone else reading this, have any suggestions or advice that will help.

I think the files are corrupted because the names look weird. Try downloading the files again.

is it possible to make a compatibility patch with race customizer?

i recently switched over from playing with the pony player plugin to back to using the anubis race

i also reinstalled furry fallout

but here's my problem:

the game crashes at the main menu and flags these files under buffout 4:

furryfalloutnpcs.eps (father gabe) 18x

racecustomizer.esp (ghoul) 1x

so because of this, all my furry npcs are bald

fuck the old post

here's my new problem:
all of my non-pony npcs, and my character, all have giant heads

how can i fix this? i am using this file, but due to not playing as a pony at the moment, i used wyre bash to change the pony player plugin to can.esm as the master

i have a zex compatible pony skeleton mod installed, it's the only way to keep from having busted pony npcs, but it causes all the non-pony characters to have big ass heads

ZaZ-Extended_Skeleton (ZEX) V2 CaN PonyRace Compatible.rar

I'll just quote this bit from the "Custom Race Skeleton Fixes" description:

Quote

--- CaN already includes separate skeleton paths for the races in their base data, so this patch only changes the Player plugin. You do NOT need this file if you don't intend to use CaN on the Player themselves and only want it for NPC mods.

CaN should work fine without RaceCustomizer as long as you're not playing as a Pony (and it can still work fine with a Pony PC without RaceCustomizer by using CRSF). If non-Pony NPCs are still getting Pony skeletons then that means something else is overwriting the default/shared skeleton with a Pony one. Probably that "ZeX CaN Pony" file. You'll have to get rid of it.

i have got rid of that file several times, i even placed zex to load after it, the pony skeletons are still stretched to oblivion and somehow overlaps the player skeleton

Ok, I'll give that a shot. Kinda sucks as it took HOURS to download them all. Having said that, it deffo looks worth at least a second shot. Thanks, will keep posted.

I recommend downloading the files individually. After downloading, check if the file is OK (if it has the right size and if you can open and view the files inside the archive).

i know i already asked this, then changed everything, but would a compatibility with race customizer be possible?

that stupid mod is the only way to get npcs not to have big ass heads with the zex pony skeleton

but the damn mod makes me have to disable furryfalloutnpc.esp, furryfalloutnsfw.esp, and furryfallout_dlc_npc.esp because of father gabe

buffout 4 flagged father gabe with furryfalloutnpc.esp 18x

buffout flagged ghoul with racecustomizer.esp 1x

and for some weird reason, triggerman as well. but i no longer have that log to check it

also, does anyone know how to fix the player big head from race customizer? player has big head, all npcs are normal

I think I need to make a profile with nothing but the unofficial patch, F4SE, and these enabled then build up from there. Everything *seemed* to be right, but I got a crash just before the game started; right before Nate's opening War Never Changes monologue. Here's what I had:
