out of curiosity are there any packs or nexus collections including this?

No.

what does it mean by "Enabling an esp"

If you are asking this question for real and this isn't some kind of weird trolling attempt, you'll need to learn the basics of modding first before trying to use this mod.

can someone help me pls?, I have a small issue. When I use this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/67483?tab=description) and furry fallout 4 npc, my female npc's revert to normal human raiders but, without that mod my NPC's return to furry.

i guess i need to make a patch, so can anyone explain me how to make one pls.

Try moving the mod before Furry fallout in the load order. if that doesn't help you will have to create a patch.

Instructions on how to create a patch can be found on discord here: https://discord.gg/rWf92R9

I have no clue what "CBEE" is or why FF4 would be incompatible with it.

If you're having crashes with the NPC plugin, try installing the NSFW patch and see if it helps.

thanks! that worked liked a charm!

Hey, I just grabbed the latest version Furry_Fallout.2.3.0.0.7z, plus others, but MO2 can't load Furry_Fallout.2.3.0.0.7z. When I went to check to see if the archive was corrupted, it asked for a password?

Is this a beta that people shouldn't be messing with without an invite?

Nope, it's the release file. Try downloading it again a few times if it keeps saying that, the archive might have gotten corrupted on download somehow.

It might be possible, but you would have to edit the FF4 NPC plugins to delete any overrides for the NPC records you want to keep as humans/vanilla ghouls, and then re-export FaceGen data for all of them using the Creation Kit to "restore" the human FaceGen and overwrite the files from FF4.

Heyo, sorry for the late reply, was in the middle of some frantic job hunting atm. Thank you for letting me know what to do, but I do have to ask if there's any certain resources where I can learn to make a patch like that for this mod. I haven't really messed with the Creation Kit much and would like to learn, but I'm not too sure where to start with this kind of stuff unfortunately. If not I understand. Again, thank you for pointing me in the direction I needed.

I'm afraid there's no specific info on this topic. You would have to learn the basics of xEdit (which TBH are mostly the same across all the different record types) to know how to edit this mod's NPC plugin, and then delete all the record overrides for any NPCs you want to keep human.

Same applies to the CK, kinda: you'd have to learn the basics of how to open it and load plugins and such from other/generic tutorials out there, and then simply re-export FaceGen for the NPCs which you just removed the furry overrides for (exporting FaceGen is done by selecting all the target NPC records in the Actors list/tab and hitting Ctrl + F4. Do note that you'll need CK Fixes or else the CK will crash when attempting to do so).

Ok, so what I did to test reverting npcs in the FurryFalloutNPC.esp was to override an NPC in the "Non-Player Character (Actor)" with the Fallout4.esm records and deleted any extra records from the esp. I tested it with Preston Garvey and he was reverted back to his vanilla state. I don't think I may need to necessarily use Creation Kit for FaceGens, but I'll keep testing around and update if that doesn't seem to be the case.

I do have 2 quick questions.

1) I've noticed playing with a few other mods, Depravity specifically, that some of the furry skins seem to overwrite on the characters and kinda making it look like a sequel to the Cats live action movie, is there a way I could fix that?

2) I just noticed that the statue in front of Sanctuary has also been converted as well, is it possible to change that back as well?

That's precisely what you need to use the CK for.

The game doesn't generate NPC faces on runtime because that would hit performance hard; instead, the CK is used to generate pre-made meshes and textures which is what the game loads on runtime instead (because simply loading a mesh + texture combo is way more lightweight than applying all the face mesh morphing and texture blending that'd be required to generate a "final" face). FF4 includes furry replacements for those, so if you revert them to human but don't re-export the FaceGen files, you'll get the kind of bugs you describe.

You'd have to tinker with the plugin and the assets in the archives to a much deeper extent, I'm afraid. Can't provide the details right now.

Honestly if you just want a bunch of NPCs to be furry while keeping everything else untouched you could instead try using the Furrifier xEdit script to manually make specific NPCs furry. But that'd be its own can of worms in turn.

Is there any futa pach for Furry Fallout? Or any way to turn females into futas :P

Also, are the "vulpine McReady", "proto-Argonian Piper" and "lupine Cait" compatible with Furry NPC, provided that they're lower on the load order, or do I have to delete the Furry NPC registers for them with Fo4Edit for them to work?

Nope, not really a thing in FO4. And the attempts at doing it so far are not supported by nonhuman races (including the ones in here).

Yes, they are.

Oh, good to know!!!

Anyways, another question. Is there any tattoo/fur color options available? For reference, I'm playing as an otter character, hence my options are limited to the standard brown otter fur and two tattoos (skull and fishbones), aside the various face markings.

Do other furry races have more options for tattoos/fur colors?, or I'm just dumb and I'm not seeing them.

You can pick whatever color you want for those using the custom color selector in LooksMenu, just hit "C" whenever the "Custom Color" prompt shows up on the hotkey bar.

Do note that since LooksMenu is a broken piece of shit, that option only works on the real Player actor, which means during the initial chargen scene it will only work properly on Nate/the male Player. It can also work on a female PC just fine but it won't work during the initial chargen scene because "Nora" is not the PC but rather a NPC, so you'd have to create your character and finish chargen, and then manually open LooksMenu afterwards and pick the custom color then.

Hmm, it always prompts me to the (empty) face sculptor sub-menu. I'll take that there isn't any fur color aside the base one for otters? I can change eye and hair color without issue, tho.

Another thing. I have most of the make apparel sets clipping with my otter character neck. Is there any patch for that, or any up-to-date mod for it. I heard that some ppl use Bodyslide, but I don't know what it is, or how it works.

If by "fur color" you mean fur tint color just like skin tone/color options for vanilla humans are, then as I said you can use the custom color selector to choose whichever one you want assuming LooksMenu ever stops sucking dick and actually works as intended for once.

If you actually mean a different texture with different belly markings and stuff, then no, there aren't any others.

Beth is retarded and made grossly deformed and pencil-shaped necks for vanilla humans for basically no reason. Bad Dog tried to account for that while working on FF4 races, but there's only so much you can do there, so many items might clip indeed. There's not much to do about it other than trying to find a mod adding scarves or shemags to cover up the weirdness (Eli's Armour Compendium has both kinds of items, for example).

Bodyslide is a tool used to customize body shapes and generate meshes for bodies and outfits with that custom shape you choose. Of itself it can't really do anything about the neck clipping because nobody has created "neck adjustment" sliders or anything, but the program comes bundled with Outfit Studio which is used to generate that slider data and also as a generic mesh editor for Fo4.

So what you could do would be use OS to manually edit the meshes for any outfit(s) you'd want to wear to remove the clipping. But you'd probably need to watch some tutorials and stuff first.

The misshapen faces was just telling the furrifier not to use such extreme values for face morphs, so that probably isn't it.

Hi, sorry if I pop out of the blue after all this time but I was wondering if this problem can be picked up again. I tried snooping around and re-installing/checking integrities/switching files but the shapes of specifically the male horses seem to be still unmodifiable (and yes, I confirm that I modified the furrifier to custom values to test out some... "aspects"). I'm starting to wonder if by deleting ALL saves into which are present a trace of the old modified files can make it work again like normal or if the issue is somewhere else. Any idea?

Hmm, game seems to work perfectly with the NPC until I get near a place with a lot of ppl. I get an insta CTD when nearing Diamond City. The NPC addon seems to be the culprit, since after turning it an its dependancies off, everything works fine, albeit I'm just a furry guy in a human world :v

Turning off dependancies and leaving Furry NPC on didn't seem to fix it, nor moving it up or down on the load order.

Those things aside, since I kinda gave up on using the NPC addon. How do you use the transmogrifier?

It is very likely this CTD is caused by the missing materials on the Raider clutter/decor statics, which is a known issue for the NPC file. Bad Dog already knows about it and the next update should include a fix, although there's no ETA yet.

In the meantime, you can either install the NSFW addon (which includes the missing files) or join the YA Discord server and install the patch available in the "Furry Fallout FAQ" channel if you'd rather not have to use the NSFW file.

Whoa, that did it. Everything works now!

Not my only nitpicks are the fact that Preston hair clips his hat and coat, and the overabundance of uncanny valley-ish deer and horses.
