Could be just a bug at reading. I will check. Only sex training is the average of oral, anal and vaginal. Can you check the sex training value? Faction is DOMTrainSex, if it is 33 then it's a reading bug.

I'm trying to do Melina's quest, 'MAIL ORDER BRIDE.' I'm at the OBJECTIVES part: 'Melina will go to the Winking Skeever around noon. Follow her, paralyze her, and subdue her.'
When I paralyze her, she falls and lies on the ground, but the quest doesn't continue. Then she gets up and runs back to the palace.
The last time I played, there were some thugs outside Solitude, but now there's nothing. I'm using the latest version of PaH and DoM 7.8.11 — DoM is winning all the disputes.
Can someone help? I don't know what the correct setstage command would be.

That's where I am at too. The rest of the quest will be ported to DOM after summer, since It can't run the game from where I am now. 

 

You're supposed to put her in a bag in the original quest with PAH. You could try to knock her out with the bludgeon and see if you can continue the quest from there.

In the original quest I remember, she would be poisoned and follow you it wasn't even necessary to enslave her; she would stagger and follow automatically after you attacked her with a paralyzing effect. I chose not to enslave Camilla and as a reward, I received the bludgeon. My first attempt was exactly that: knock her down and put her in the bag. Then I tried paralysis. I made some other attempts, like enslaving with PaH and DoM, but nothing worked. I'm continuing other quests for now to see if it unbugs. I let it fail with her returning to the castle. Tried again and still nothing. What stands out to me is that the henchmen should be waiting to receive her in a cabin outside Solitude. I haven’t made any changes to the game it's original, only with material and lighting improvements. I’m not even using JK’s

Then you have to wait for me to update the HSH patch before continuing this quest.

Hmm, let's change that. DOM computes the wealth of NPCs according to various factions before giving the buyer's offer. It will be possible to sell to a beggar but you might get just a few gold as best offer.

My ancestors lived in the part of city associated with being 'the meanest of the meanest of the mean'.   Albeit that was before they moved to my even stingier home town 

 

Belethor and Lucan would be no match for me.  I'd settle a sale for a brass farthing.

Well, that was odd.

 

I got the quest from Olava, and the talked to Agnis at Greymoor Fort. I found the overturned cabbage cart, read the note, then proceeded to Drelas's cottage. That's where things got weird....When I entered, Drelas attacked almost immediately, and I killed him. Then he was alive...but still dead: the corpse was sitting there, with a quest marker, but there was a live version (with a completely different RefID and BaseID) I was able to talk to, and he went on and on about the the Radiant Dark, blah blah blah. Kimli meantime is standing behind him (not on the X-cross upstairs). I was able to enslave her to continue the quest, and the quest marker on dead Drelas is gone (not sure if it disappeared after talking to live Drelas, or after talking to Kimli). However, I'm a little mystified about Drelas.

 

Basically, as far as I can tell, unless I kill Drelas again, I can't use all the cool stuff in the cottage. But I'm hesitant to do that because I'm sure what he's supposed to do here. And it just seems churlish to kill the same guy twice.

 

So then I decided to continue my day, only to discover that Kimli was no longer enslaved. And she'd somehow lost the leash collar I put on her (which is a problem, because I haven't figured out yet how to make those).

 

EDIT: OK, loaded a save from just before I entered the cottage, and I see now that the extra Drelas was there all along: he just sits quietly while I fight the hostile Drelas (who, BTW, looks completely different). The quest marker is over the hostile Drelas, and some Googling indicates the live Drelas is the vanilla Drelas--and the stuff in the cottage would be marked stolen even if had killed him. That being said, live Drelas has no objections whatsoever to my looting his cottage, though presumably some of this stuff is registered as his, and some as the belonging to the dead Drelas. So, the existence of the live Drelas isn't causing me in-game problems, but it's a tad immersion-breaking, to say the least.

 

Secondly, Kimli's getting bugged was the result of the SLEN post-clear orgy function--she was immediately set as a temporary follower, joined in the orgy with 4 people she'd only met the minute before, and got very confused. Under the circumstances, the confusion was not entirely unrealistic, but it was certainly frustrating.

DOM version 7.8.14 is out with minor bug corrections. Full changelog is on LL.

This is a release candidate version, with a lot of untested features!

 

Patches are to be installed after TDF, HSH and AYGAS, overwriting original ESP for HSH and AYGAS. PAH is not mandatory.

 

IMPORTANT: Before upgrading save your MCM settings and import them after upgrade. Failing to do so will have some settings fall back to default.

  • DOM:

    • NPCs can be put in chains or ordered to do favor and will be untied before starting another animation or being given a new order

    • Player will not animate during tie-up/untie of NPCs if corresponding MCM (player tab) option is set.

    • Friendships are checked at capture/recruit, new friendship gives a notification for one of the two actors and diary friendship message now takes relationship type into account.

    • Added a dialogue to recruit family members when they force greet you to ask you to free their kins.

    • NPCs interactions:

      • NPCs already close friend with another NPC are harder to become close friend while chatting with Player.

      • NPCs already in love with another NPC are much harder to fall in love while chatting with Player.

      • NPCs can now be choked (if told to be respectful) drink alcohol (only dizzy effect) and potions (fully effective)

      • NPCs can be ask to join willingly if their relationship with the player is high enough (default is in love), are told to be respectful and were insulted, flattered, punished, comforted, shamed and tied, all 6 at least once.

      • The NPC join dialogue is under "You'll do exactly what I tell you".

      • The 6 actions needed for NPCs to join are meant to be performed and discovered within the dialogue tree.

      • NPCs joining willingly receive a boost in training to reflect their lower chance of running away.

      • Asking a follower to join will have them suggest you remove them from their duties first.

      • Respectful NPCs will use Master/Mistress punctuation.

      • NPCs stuck in a pose can be reset with the 'K' key or asked to stop whatever they are doing.

    • Actor wheel menu "add trainee" is not limited to 4 anymore. New max is 128 to account for HSH full camps.

    • Introduced number of times tied in the mood calculation.

    • Copying outfit to inventory was changed to be compatible with SPID outfit distribution.

    • AFT patch in "various patch" scripts to add an idle reset before following player.

    • Number of widgets can now be set to 0 and widget positions are saved.

What's new in 7.8.5:

  • DOM:

    • Corrected a bug when trying to recruit or capture an excluded NPC it would prevent any future recruit or capture.

    • Corrected a bug where actors would wrongly use the NPC interactions.

    • NPC can now be ordered to pose, wait, follow, sandbox, be restrained and be respectful.

    • Sandbox, wait and follow are not available for Followers.

    • ZapKneelDisplay pose moved to "attention" and IdleHandsBehindBack moved to "salute".

    • Added post scene delay in MCM. Default is 15 seconds.

    • NPCs get DOM training when in a DOM scene.

Thanks. Actually there is no copy of Drela in DOM, but it was modified as he is now part of a quest and needs the persistent flag. What you're seeing might be the result of SLEN interference.

I hesitated putting DOM actors in the exclusion list of SLEN, but never got any complain to push me to do so. What's your thought?

Sorry to be a pain, but in setting this up (DOM 7.8.14), which version of SBC do we need to use/are you using with the included DOM SBC Patch?

 

I assume at least SBC 0.95g as the main mod, but does it need/do you use one or both of the patches in the SBC thread, ie Patches 5 and/or 6?

 

It's not clear on the SBC thread, and I've asked there too, but if you can tell us what you use that works, great!

You can ignore that.    SBC's author provided a very prompt answer!  

 

SO, FWIW, for the benefit of anyone else unsure about this, current up to date SBC uses 

 

Sexy Bandit Captives v0.98g SSE.7z

and

SBC v0.98g Patch 6 SSE.7z

 

And note that if you want to use More Bandit Camps or More Bandit Camps - Explorer's Edition, you'll need to modify SBCs file 'SexyBanditCaptives.json' to pick up the current MBC esp name, as both versions of MBC's latest edition - Ordinary and Exporer's -  now have the same esp name set by its FOMOD, and that's different from the esp name included in the SBC  JSON file

I know that interesting NPC does have a double and you can talk with him. That is the only mod I know of that doubles him.

Vanilla has marriage and adoption, and there are also many more mods allowing multiple marriage and multiple adoption, but this is completely unrelated to DOM...

 

As an extension to use with DOM, I recommend "Bloodline - A Fertility Mode Companion".

As tonitrulupus pointed out, the problem seems to be an interaction between Interesting NPCs (3DNPC) and DOM: I assume 3DNPC removes the vanilla Drelas and replaces him, but DOM brings him back for the Kimli quest, so you end up with two of them. Even if you wanted to patch it, the two versions of Drelas are fundamentally incompatible, since  you're supposed to kill the DOM (vanilla) Drelas to "rescue" Kimli, while the whole point of the 3DNPC Drelas is having a calm, if creepy, conversation. The whole situation is annoying, and workarounds would be possible (like deleting the 3DNPC version if you have DOM installed, or having DOM make use of the 3DNPC version to create an alternative talking route to rescuing Kimli), but it's probably not worth writing a patch for. After all, any modified instance of Skyrim will likely have any number of silly things happening.

That question requires a multi-part answer, so bear with me.

 

First of all, I'm not sure it would have made a difference in this situation: by "DOM actor", I assume you mean a slave or slaver, and Kimli wasn't either here; I'm guessing that what triggered the problem was that she was added to the PC's party at some point before I talked to her, either when I entered the cell or when I killed Drelas. The fix for this would be to delay the status change (adding her as a follower) until the PC talks to her. That being said, we're talking a real corner case here, so maybe not worth the effort.

 

On the broader question of SLEN, I can see going either way. Allowing slaves to participate in the post-clear orgy certainly makes sense, as there's no reason the PC and followers wouldn't avail themselves of readily available slaves. However, the "Charm" seduction dialogue choice provided by SLEN really has no place in PC-slave interactions; I'm not even sure it makes sense in PC-slaver interactions, since you've implemented slavers to be somewhat slave-like, in that the PC can just order them to have sex.

 

If it were me, I'd worry more about the similar, but bigger problems created by Spectator Crowds, which pulls tied-up and restrained slaves out of their ropes/restraints and into scenes. I've got mixed feelings about this mod in the first place, partly because a lot of the dialog isn't entirely applicable to the situations it's used in, but it's less immersion-breaking than having a crowd of people ignore public sex acts. This is one I'd love to see DOM actors excluded from, or at least actors who are tied up or restrained.

@TrollAutokill did you ever figure out why taboo kink wasn't firing off? I did look at some past json files for the NPC that had taboo, not sure if this make a different, but the old one had a abuse taboo listed, the new one didn't, don't know if that even helps in correcting that issue, started to see the same thing with the kink sex with animal, didn't fire off with a wolf, cow, dog or chicken.

Chicken sex, heh? Who would have guessed this would be my next assignment. On my to-do list, now.

I know but it has hard pecker you know, but that why chicken are stronger then any male, let see you pick up a piece of corn with your pecker, lol

Is there a way to modify how much a given drink increases a slave's blood alcohol/drunkeness? I have a slave with a kink for having sex while drunk and giving them 10s of bottles of wine, alto wine, etc. (with confirming that they actually drink the whole bottle instead of coughing it up) barely has an impact. I wouldn't mind being able to edit this stat of theirs but I don't see it on the slave's JSON file either.

Trait for being drunk is Toughness. Alcohol effect probably needs to be checked, but you can use strong alcohol meanwhile, all three are available from the Bee and Bard in Rotten.

How do I demand a ransom for a slave? I have enslaved Olfina with me and I try to talk to all of her relatives - no option for ransom in the dialogue.

 

Also is there an option to disable mechanic of slaves picking up stuff in the cell while working as a maid? I use Jaxonz positioner to decorate my base and stuff just keeps disappearing.
