Heya Troll,

 

Have the comment timers been revised on 4.4.8+?  It seems that the fastest I can repeat a praise is 30 seconds an scold is like 8ish?  I have the comment delay set to "1" in both fields.  Still loving the mod  ?

Is this what's causing the praise/scold cycle to take a much longer time to complete?  Is there a way to get around this on the player's end?  Its really drags out the enslavement process. (I know some people really love it taking a long time to enslave, but I am not one of them.  The sliders should be enough of a delay for folks that like that approach.)

Thanks for the feedback. It's not a timer, it's more of a one at a time. I will add a toggle for that. But processing more than one event at a time will be at your own risk.

 

Meanwhile there was this mod to increase the script speed. What was its name?

Not sure if you mean that one - Papyrus Tweaks NG has an experimental setting "Speed up native calls" (must manually be enabled in the mod's ini file).

This may have been reported before: The position of the slave in the "forced kiss 2" animation seems to be wrong, at least for me. It looks like the slave is rotated 180 degrees (i.e. the player is kissing the back of the head of the slave).

It's not as responsive, but it does seem to have fixed the problem where the mod would go unresponsive for ten minutes real time while the engine cleared up the backlog.

 

Not ideal, but a definite improvement.

Thanks man.  I am running the script accelerator thing.  (Can't open MO right now to get the name, due to my computer losing its mind after a driver update).

That's already in but not when sandboxing. You have to tell them explicitly to clean the mess.

 

You can also choose which objects are picked up with MCM options.

Do you have the voicepack installed? If yes, try to remove it first. CTD with DoM is usually due to a wrongly processed dialogue line in the voicepack.

Hi.  Thanks for all the hard work and new versions!

 

I'm about to start a new game and haven't kept up with this thread for a while. I'm afraid, and have one quick query about current progress

 

Some time ago I asked if you expected to have a version where one could 'turn off/mute/minimise' slave's 'Traits' and 'Moods' content, as I'm more of a hardened trader than a psychology major

 

You replied at the time that that might be so in future versions.  Does 4.5.0 allow you to do so?

 

No worries if not - I'll just have to sell soppy sloppys more quickly ?

The new armor/clothes feature is causing me some issues:

  1. Tell slave to wear protective armor and make sure that they have no clothes in inventory
  2. Tell slave to undress
  3. (wait a while doing other stuff)
  4. Tell slave to put on their armor again

Result: Slave agrees but does not have any clothes so stays naked

Workaround:

  1. Tell slave to not wear armor
  2. Tell slave to wear armor protective armor

Result: Slave puts on armor again.

And now for something completely different. In the beginning I felt that the fact that I could praise slaves for being a silent pet when they are gagged was a bug, but now I actually like the idea of making fun of them like that. Maybe it could raise resignation?

 

[Edit] It could also have a chance of making them angry if they are not well trained.

Well, you can send them to PAH. Or you can disable all notifications and tell them to shutup.

Every praise has a bit of irony in DoM...

Overall, DOM's training was so much better in the earlier versions, and I'm sure is even better now.   So while I really don't wish to seem churlish or unappreciative of your talents and your related outcomes ?, I'll have to experiment with the muting options

 

FWIW, do gags make them stay quiet?  In some mods those overwrite NPC responses quite well, in others they don't

Gags will make them quiet too yes. Use them with MCM  minimal notification settings and disable in-love mood variants. Also disable friends maybe.

quick question.

a thug/trainer's "teach them to fear the whip" option. is it just random whipping hoping the slave raises the correct stat? (or in need of  direct command of the player ie: display to raise posing)

or do the trainers raise all the stats they know like in PAH home sweet home? (submission, combat, anger, etc )
