I use it for adding the keywords JewelryExpensive, Armor, EroticArmor etc. to some clothes and items. It also does pattern matching. So you can do a "catch all":

Keyword = EroticArmor|Armor|*Slutty+[SunJeong] Ninirim Collection.esp

Maybe it is wrong discussion, but I need help or explanation from more experienced modders: I have done very dirty and quick port of last version of Dwarven Modular Automaton to SE, and equipped some items on PAH slaves, and left them at home (they moved under control of Home Sweet Home). And equipped items from DMA start to unequip each time I change locations. Is this a problem of armor from DMA, problem of HSH or something else?

It´s been a while since i posted here, i just had too much IRL-Stuff in my way.

Dear TrollAutokill , it´s incredible how much your Mod has grown in the last months, i love it?.

First i did not like the Wheel-Menu, but now i get why you did it, it´s hard enough to memorize the already existant Hotkeys, even more would have been a mess. With the Wheels i have much better control. Well done!!!(it´s the first time i came across such a thing at an LE-Mod, it´s probably more common on SE, i don´t know about that.)

 

About the "infamous" IRL-Issues i mentioned: i am in a relationship for a while now, ans she moved in at my place some time ago. so, i´m pretty happy, but she HATES it if i do Pornrim, aka Pahe/DOM( you might know how women get somestimes, they claim "it´s fine", but you know for a fact that it´s NOT FINE at all?). so i avoid to do Pornrim when she´s around?.

 

Also, for the first time in my live i can say that i have a high-end gaming-rig(Ryzen 7 5800x, 3080ti 12 gb), so i enjoy Finally beeing able to play a lot of games at ultra-settings(on 1080p) which was not possible for me until now.

 

Sorry if i bothered anybody with too much information about my private life, i just wanted to tell you that i still love the content of LL(and the work of CliftonJD and TrollAutokill in particular(and all you other great People  who keep the Community alive with their efforts)).

Good to know I'll have to adapt those parts of the code for LE. It might mean, maid will be worse at cleaning with LE, since they don't seem to be able to make the difference between a static rock, a generated fork and Thor's Almighty Warhammer...

For a fact I know my wife would definitely want to try SL defeat! Another reason not to play Skyrim when she's around, or she would be stuck in front of the screen like a blonde in front of Candy Crash.

yeah, LE only for the most part. I've avoided SE for a long time due to so many mods not being on it...plus the anniversary edition mess. and yes, the maid likely will be a LOT worse. I had one of them actually work for a bit and the result was...catastrophic, and I had to revert the save. I'd dropped an enemy in Severin Manor, slave went near them and picked up a sword from storage to attack. oops. my weapons on the weapon plaques were glitched to be simultaneously on the plaques AND near the entryway. and the teleporter platform from magical utilities was...basically bugged the same, thing was invisible and was moved to the 'start' of the cell.

 

think i'd like a "cosmetic sweeping only" toggle setting for maid mode, lol

Could be a good way to make it LE friendly. I don't see how to do without PO3 functions.

another issue, on a somewhat serious note (might be DOM specifically, idk too much about this particular system):

devious devices don't work and player enchanted items aren't applying their enchantments to slaves when they are worn.

Decked my girl out in enchanted gear to beef up her health and magicka and such and...nothing doing. Which, given that she has 109 health and the enchantments would give her a few hundred more is a big difference.

 

less serious...she also didn't redress after sex, but the menu options act like she's still dressed.

Then there's the fact that for some reason PAHE stil thinks all my slaves are male. :|

I notice that with HSH it will sometimes unequip certain pieces of armor. I had this problem with other clothing/armor mods with HSH. Probably nothing wrong with DMA, I was just using it last week for a pretty long playthrough, no issues at all but I don't use HSH.

There are various issues with enchantments and NPCs in the game. Some enchantments work on NPCs, some don't (i.e. they only work on the player), and some work if they are on an item that you found or bought but not if you enchanted the item yourself. As far as I know this is not caused by DOM, it's just Skyrim being Skyrim.

 

I always had the impression that the Devious Devices maintainers were more interested in applying devices to the player (or themselves) than applying them to NPCs. As a consequence things are not always well tested and often don't work well. Again that is not a DOM issue. Shameless plug, I created a mod that tries to improve support for NPCs by various workarounds. Please be aware that it will cause some script load as it has to scan for NPCs with equipped devices, keep track of their state, and apply workarounds as needed. So maybe create a manual safe before trying out my mod.

DOM slaves are sometimes a bit stubborn and Devious Devices might not show up after you equip them. If that happens, open their inventory again, remove one of the devices and then re-equip it. I have never seen that last problem with regular followers, I assume it is caused by DOM messing with their equipment (e.g. by applying outfits and therefore removing the "rendered device"). Might be something for @TrollAutokill to look at.

i rarely ever see a slave benefit from enchantments, but not too long ago i heard of somebody's slave turned an expert marksman wearing the devious dwarven suit/s

sexlab has had the issues redressing slaves long enough that i added the dress and strip dialogues for that. if pahe thinks all your slaves are male, sexlab has said so. i wrote the script asssuming that sexlab would either give the correct answer or not give an answer at all...wasn't expecting a wrong answer so i'll need to add an option to ignore sexlab gender for next update

The most full-proof way to make sure that enchantments work on NPCs, is to apply them through Perks. And adding Perks to NPCs at run-time via script was not possible in Skyrim, prior to SPID. You can now add Perks to NPCs using SPID and make sure the enchantments have correct conditions checks for applying the Magic Effect.

memory is a bit vague on the enchantments topic but I remember something about using specific SKSE functions or something to equip the items or apply enchantments? it's honestly been too long. but I do know that in vanilla at least there's the issue that if equipment was equipped by script it wouldn't apply enchantments. I still have to deal with my followers -infrequently- losing their enchantments, typically when I dismiss them...

as for the gender thing, that'd explain it. I noticed it kept doing animations that were....male on female...and typically my slave was the one put in the male position. I thought it was PAHE erroneously deciding my slaves were male (which it kinda did) and that it wasn't (oops, it...was?) sexlab's fault.  since I don't have any experience with the codebases in question, my response is basically "can we just get an option to individually set the gender on the slaves ourselves, in pahe?"

something I noticed about certain spell mods i'm using is that the authors are blissfully unaware of the perks during runtime issue. which is something I rammed my head against a long, long time ago trying to do what the 'enchantments and potions work on npcs' mod does. this was long before SPID existed...lol. and before ASIS and all the other patchers. :|

the gender has to be set in a way acceptable to sexlab so if i add the option to change their gender, it would basically go from asking sexlab the gender to commanding sexlab to force the new gender...we can try it, hopefully sexlab is more cooperative that way

@TrollAutokill I have a small suggestion. Dialogue topics like "can I see my family" or "my family will pay for my freedom" would be nice to see in situations where npc have family or reletionship with someone in world. For example, it is very strange to hear this from an orphan or a person who has no relatives. For example when you capture beggar or npc who lost his family(like Frea in Dragonborn dlc).

 

The same can be used to record the relationships for captured npcs. If you have captured relatives, they may have relationships, such as friendships.

If it is possible, it would be funny.

 

P.S. It would be funny if it worked in a non-obvious way. Like relatives don't always love each other.

Ideally it would allow you to spawn a quest so you can find said family :)

Or cases when your companion recognizes brother/sister in one of the slaves.

 

Especially if the companion start gloats over captured npc. That's what I mean when I said "non-obvious way"?

If this has already been answered pls flame me.  When using the striping options on a bandit for example, all bandits of that class are now naked as well. at this point in the game 50% of my bandit spawns have been striped after capture and now spawn naked. Know thing or mod incompatibility?

@TrollAutokill it looks like maids will remove books that have been added to bookshelves, including skill books. Tested with the bookshelves near the fireplace in Breezehome (upper shelf).

This is not the first time that maids remove things that they should not. Is there a way to get these items back, e.g. a chest where cleaned-up things are added to?

First is that LE or SE?

 

Secondly, there should be an option in the MCM menu to ignore some item types. If book type is missing I'll add it.

 

Also maids should drop generated items in the closest container they find. Breeze home is small enough for them to find a container, so your (generated) books should he somewhere.

 

Although if they are not generated items they might have been replaced where they belong, in a land far far away... I am not sure I put a test on the cell on that one. Something to check!
