saberTech2171 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Hi, I am not too sure as to what is happening, but when I interact with any of the equipped devices, I am locked out of the inventory menu, quickbars, magic menu. I can only interact with the device/player menu. Even after the device has been removed, i am still locked out. I can see in the log that aaControl [false........] is called, but there is nothing that will re-enable said controls. I have to enter the command 'enableplayercontrols' each time. I have the latest released version of this mod installed and checked that the UD_patch is loaded after this mod. Any suggestions?

I had high security arm cuffs from DCL on me and i couldn't open inventory or spellbook. But the moment i went to blacksmith and paid him to remove it my menus normalized. UD was working with them by locking them together from time to time, while you can untie them they cannot be removed by player. Edited October 25, 2023 by Zaflis
bannedspider51 Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 IWW Orgasm bar hasn't been showing up for me, tried running general fixes and the orgasm reset option in the debug menu but it wont ever show up, unless i run test widgets through the mcm, but it doesn't appear after that

Everytime equipping a DD item it says: UD Error Check Console. In COnsole there is: Any Idea whats causing the issue? ID have no UD_CustomDevice_equipScript :EDIT: Got it solved by reviewing my load order: Devious Devices NG was the reason. UD patch should run below NG Patch and Loot did not recognize it. After putting DD patch below NG patch it works. Ever since I installed UD 2.1 for a new playthrough my character's standing idle changes to an out of breath looking animation. is there any way to disable this in the MCM?

If the leg cuffs trigger the event where the legs bind together it's same as running around with a hobble dress. It reduces your carryweight below 0. So you just need to untie it. I found it a bit unrealistic about how you could struggle out of some heavy bondage so I found the settings for modifying the difficulty, however I ran into issues when testing this because most armbinders are unpickable due to them requiring keys while having no key listed. It seems like all other devices are fine, just most the armbinders want to be difficult.

After some testing with different devices, it looks like the idle animation is activated by many different restraints, including; harnesses, collars, cuffs and gags. It is not that the carry weight or anything is affected when using the devices. I simply equip cuffs, gags or harnesses, and my character immediately bends over and starts huffing and puffing, as if she is out if breath. Edit: I did not expect this, but Sunhelm was the culprit! My character was tired and that caused the animation to play while wearing a device. I do not know if UD + sunhelm is causing it or if it's DD NG + Sunhelm, as those are the only DD mods I have installed recently, but neither of these mention anything about needs/survival mods, as far as I can see. The patch was outdated and broke parts of the LBS quest in Embershard Mine. After removing the patch, LBS started working okay for me. Edited November 3, 2023 by Herowynne
johntrine Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) @ihatemykite i had the issue that the menu kept saying updating/disabled and the whole thread had only 1 helpful pointer. i am here to share what it is and how i fixed my issue. 1) it happened to me due to that fact that i saved the game before i got the "unforgiving devices is ready" popup. you might wanna add 'no saving until you get the popup' to the front page. 2) i used fallrim resaver to deleted all files related to this mod and devious devices and relaunched the game. it worked. a new save should work too. edit- i suggest new save. Tens of thousands of scripts in the save and papyrus eventually slowed to a crawl, zoning through doors slowed down significantly and possibly a lot more issues: The developer has pretty much locked themselves out of any feedback. That said i don't think there's anything wrong with the XPMSE skeleton itself, just don't use the ESP. And since this was the heaviest mod that i have aside from DD that relates to character animations. I have no mods that would change combat specifically. Edited November 3, 2023 by Zaflis 1

Apparently the quest was marking me as in a scene even though it was a talk to me when you are ready kind of situation, fixed when the quest was cleared. Thanks for the help 1

I don't have UD's exhausted debuff but they are from other mods like Corruption. Aside from plugs it also happens with magic struggle at least. I feel like it should be up to player to judge when she is too exhausted, easily noticeable when the bar will just empty quickly if attempted. But my character is nowhere near that exhausted. Edit: LL can't upload images right now, but it would have shown skills UI with Magicka 110/110 and stamina 100/100. Edited November 11, 2023 by Zaflis

No the debuff list at top right was empty, i would also see it with the iWantWidgets HUD if there were any exhaustions. So currently the only workaround to remove a plug is to somehow satisfy the addictions to reduce debuffs. It's not a great solution though if they cannot be satisfied maybe because of DD's. Just wanna know if this mod does something to unarmed damaged under certain conditions or is it just me breaking it somehow. 2)This is probably the dumb one but... To unlock with key you need to hit crit while in minigame. Crits are indicated by whole body flashing green or blue. While it flashes - you press D for green or A when blue. If you fail to hit crits, hit them while not flashing - you can break keys and/or jam locks.

For example change the chance that for instance devices with the sentient modifer appear/ not appear. 2) This one probably doesnt exist, but is there a way to change the amount of time that vibrators can be active, noticed that the grand variants can be active for up to or more than 10 minutes real time at once, which seems kinda long I think.
