Well, why .ESP patch for Devious Chastity Piercing all Strict Chastity Piercing use both 49 and 50 slot, and only Strict Shielded Chastity Piercing use only 49 slot?

P.S. I want to finish work on “my own” transform it into a “true” 3BA ?, but this slot distribution is confusing me

Most likely caused by Devious Devices SE patch.esp. Check if the SE patch is loaded before UD patch.

 

Hate to dig out old posts but I couldn't find any more info on this issue.

 

I've checked my load order many times over and all UD patches appear after their respecive DD patches - as instructed, but I still have the error getDeviceScriptByRender timeout when a red ebonite armbinder is equipped. Its only this item, nothing else causes any problems.

 

Any ideas?

EDIT: Other items cause this bug too, but it is limited to some armbinders

Well... i'm not sure how that even works for you, over the 255 mod limit with only few ESL's and no Bashed Patch used.

I have caco and a mod that renames potions to have a more accurate name are they possible culprits

 

i also have a anim replacer for the alchemy table

 

never mind im pretty sure its Ingredient Priority Fix NG ill try again in the morning zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Problem with DCL's devices that they are very special and custom, not using standard DD scripts. So to make DCL patch for UD means rewriting each custom script, which is a lot of work. Also I wouldn't want to go into all this hassle until Kimy releases much needed DCL update.

This is what the console shows whenever a Striker hits my (or any other) character and a transfer should happen.
I had the option for more console log output enabled, but that was a hot mess. I did see some messages about (named) device locking etc though when the strikers spawned.
I'm not sure if the mod is having trouble recognizing the devices unlocking and being transferred.

Something else I noticed is when a transfer all + punishment event occurs, some random (but not the Striker's) bondage devices are equipped for a brief moment before being immediately removed again.

To be fair, I the Devious Strike also stopped working for me, but with version 0.4.3. I will do more investigation, but its possibly not UD issue.

This was issue before, but I thought I have fixed it. Do you have enabled DAR/OAR compatibility. And if yes, do you use DAR/OAR ?

Check if there is non UD mod which patch the device (most notably DD SE Patch, or Devious Lora Patch)

The first line means that some mod try to lock non existing device on not existing actor. Looks like that is somehow breaking any further lock operations. Can you share you load order ?

The latest version is somehow conflict with SL widgets, will it be possible to show UD widgets & SL widgets at the same time?

I tried this one out briefly a long time ago and had difficulties due to settings linked to other mods (debuffs etc.) making it really hard to make it work - but I just recently tried again with a new setup where I wanted to make it work and the conclusion: This mod is great, very nice work! @ihatemykite

A few ideas/thoughts (none of this is meant as criticism of missing features, the mod is great):

This may have already been covered somewhere in the 70 pages here, but I have been wondering about whether it's been considered to add a time dimension to some of the properties of the devices, I mean making them time-dependent? For example when you started out, those boots just had cheap locks but nothing else going for them, but if you keep wearing them they might gain sentience. Or if you damage them but not enough to remove them, they might start learning how to regenerate..

I don't even know, this kind of thing might have already been implemented, I'm new to playing with the mod, but if not it might be something to consider. It would make it harder to 'ignore' devices and leaving them on for extended periods of time (I know there's already the cuffs which might link so the basic dynamic is implemented in other ways already). Other behavior-dependent mechanisms could also be considered - if you struggle, but fail to struggle your way out of a device after some time it might shift from being easy or normal to a harder difficulty because it adapted to your efforts..

The way I understand how the MCM work, you can specify how often you want to see the orgasm manifest and timed locks properties(?), but I'm uncertain about whether/if it is also possible to tweak other properties like sentience or regeneration (/how much min/max). My guess would be that those properties are currently implicitly handled by the DD difficulty level, is that right? It would be nice to have the option of being able to tweak such properties to your liking as well, I would for example probably personally like to try out a setup where all devices regenerate, just with different rates (so you could still make headway with some devices without going all in at one specific point in time, but progress would be slower than otherwise). Maybe add a time dimension as well (longer wear = risk of sentience and regen?).

Has the idea of having devices able to equip other devices interact with the inventory been considered? So for example if you're walking around with a lot of black goo, that annoying armbinder might think you should try a taste, leading to some potential unpleasantness?

To be fair, I the Devious Strike also stopped working for me, but with version 0.4.3. I will do more investigation, but its possibly not UD issue.

Depends. What would you expect from the mind break ? Or how should it work ?

This was issue before, but I thought I have fixed it. Do you have enabled DAR/OAR compatibility. And if yes, do you use DAR/OAR ?

Someone reported on the Devious Strike thread that devices not being equipped on single transfer is due to a missing PapyrusUtil function (StorageUtil.FormListRandom()) which is not present in the last PapyrusUtil 3.3 for LE. For SE, updating PapyrusUtil should fix it according to that user.

If that's true then it's entirely on Devious Strike's mod author to fix this issue.

Hello. Can you please describe in which events device filter is ignored? It's working now to affect only random devices appearing, preset costumes are not checking the filter.

Hi, even though the hardcore mode option is turned off, I still can't open the menu.

 

even when I restored the controls in zaz animation pack it seems that some event almost immediately blocks the opening of the menu.

it seems that in every possible configuration combination having heavybondage prevents me from getting into the menu:/

ok, i found i think - it seems that mod not dispell HardcoreDisableSpell - so with and without hardcore mode spell was active.
when i did it manualy (via console) problem disappeared

Hey, is there a reason why the mod keeps getting disabled after I load a save?

For context, I just started a fresh save file and after about an hour of playing I saved and quit, upon loading that save the mod was disabled.

If somebody could let me know what I'm doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.
