If this is installed before cursed loot initializes, it breaks cursed loot. And even when I install it later, and am struggling out of sentient devices, no prompt for an additional key is displayed. I have tried pressing most of the keys during the brief period the sentient dialogue is up, but to no avail. Is there supposed to be an mcm or something, and the key is not natively assigned by default. Because if so, the mcm menu never shows up. Otherwise, can you inform me what key it is bound to. Edit: Ok, I ran through SSEEdit and found no interaction between the Deviously Cursed Chanterelle esp and UD. Perhaps there are more files needed to allow for the sentient device mechanics. And if the sentient mechanic is supposed to be native to Cursed Loot, then I believe that UD is hijacking it and breaking it. But the goo system is annoying for me. I play with "Being a Cow", and the hunters always use black goo, so I have zero chance for the fight againts them. One second after the battle start, the PC is defenseless...

It's strange that the black goo is used by hunters. I never tried to fight hunters, so I will have to test it and see if it can't be optimized.

There will most likely be some while loop blocking the update. That can be seen in active script category after you load the save. Alternatively, you can send me the save and I can take a look at it myself with resaver. 1

It sounds like you got it right, terminating all active scripts unlocks the situation, but I'm not sure if it's OK to do it this way. If I terminate only the UD scripts I don't get the result I'm hoping for, so it looks like it's not caused by your plugin but either a conflict or something else. I'll share the file with you so you can have a look too. In the meantime, I will try various combinations of cleaning up the file. That can make saving/loading faster. As this save is so big I have big question. Did you install the UD after you already started the game (aka, you didn't create new game). Also, if you had UD 2.0 on start, did you install 2.1 afterward ? I don't think I will be able to see anything from this save because of how big it is. There are many terminated threads, and quite some active UD scripts. Can you try to create new save and see if you have the same issue ?

I realized I saved the game in the middle of it updating. I went back to an older save and everything appeared ok but I still have issues. UD updates every time I load a savegame using 2.1b5. Is it supposed to do that? I started an new game when I replaced 2.1 with 2.1b5. 2.1 worked fine. But 2.1b5 doesn't recognize items from DDE. DDX items work fine. All DDs equip as normal, UD just does not recognise/patch items from DDE. I'm getting items from DD equip DCL and Banes version of defeat. The older version of UD worked well with these mods. I was running DD 5.1 but then updated to 5.2 thinking that was the problem, but it did not solve the problem even with a new game. Thanks for your time with UD. I really like the mod.

DD 5.2 much better than 5.1 and there's no real reason to stick with 5.1 2. Please do not confuse DD Equip and DD Expansion, DD Expansion is part of DD framework, DD Equip is separate mod.

Is there a list of mods that will do that, or Is it that this mod is maybe supposed to provide devices that will be used by other 'triggering mods' IN THE PLACE of the current DD 5.2 items? There are pre-made patches in the downloads section (all default devices for example) and there's a utility to make your own patches.
