crudo Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Has anyone got their companion infested/pregnant and then to have the condition stop upon entering a city, fast traveling/carriage or leaving a dungeon? For the dungeon, not all of them but most of them, seems the larger ones have issue.
Skyrimfloo Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I've been getting cheap chaurus armor lately due to them infesting my character without sex scenes nor tentacles, then getting them friendly, so I'll drop the mod for a while to avoid being cheaty, lol. I hope this gets patched soon for the new version.
Mercor Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Hello! I'm posting because I have a problem. I installed Estrus and Estrus Chaurus, but the animations from Estrus are not checked by Estrus Chaurus. When I tried to do it via the MCM menu, I check the "check registered animations", but it uncheck immediatly after. I have the line "Estrus Chaurus is checking registered animations", but no animations checked. When my PC receives a chaurus spit, it plays a masturbation animation, and get infected. The egg-laying animation works well. Somebony know where this problem come from? Maybe the Sexlab v. 1.5 ?

With every day that passes more mods will be updated to v1.5+ so the trend is in it's favour. These updates happen and unsupported mods are left behind or the breaking of a cherished mod is the kick someone needed to take over or replace that abandoned Mod. In this case Min is keeping Estrus Chaurus working for possibly a whole year as Jbezorg goes travelling. As for waiting for All mods are updated , it will never happen as with every breaking SexLab update (They are rare) some will be dropped as unusable any more. This isn't a bad thing as the updated SexLab is better than the old one, with more abilities and functions to make mods work better both with each other as well as alone. I would agree that you should make sure a mod is SSL v1.5 compatible, not before you try it (you can risk that) but certainly before you complain it's not working right. On that subject The term RTFM is often ignored because it's miunderstood, most mods only require a glance at incompatible mods with a passing browse for unusual install info, many just work without that minor check. RTFM is not about that, as when all's well and working fine, who needs a Fucking Manual. When you do have a problem is when you should Read The Fucking Manual Not before (though you can if you want to). However a Mods Details are presented, even in a Long Forum (Use Search that's what it's for). Most problems are already known. Having provided support for Mod Organizer and read most of it's Nexus Forum, I can say with experience nothing is more annoying than being asked the same dumb question, already answered countless times including, being fully explained at the start of Mod Description, Official Documentation, every other Forum Page, etc. With Mod Organizer that question is: Where are my mods, the data folder is empty, but it says there installed. f you use Mod Organizer you know how dumb a question that is, for those that don't, it is Mod Organizers main feature, the reason it was made. Every Mod is installed once in ...\Mod Organizer\Mods Folder and used for All Profiles (Separate Games), no mods are put in the Data Folder, instead each Profile tells Mod Organizer, which of all the installed Mods to use. Then it creates a Virtual Data Folder of them and the vanilla Skyrim Files (Only files in real Data Folder). It is a modern manager designed especially for SSD's to minimize the size of installed Mods and Maximise their usefulness. Wrye Bash has a primitive swap files in and out of the data folder system. So even if two profiles have the same mods with just two instalied in a different order, both profiles must have all the mods in them and the files are moved completely to swap them about, a time consuming process. In Mod Organizer the Profile is a simple set of text files, detailing all the info needed for that Profile, including separate save games. NMM has no profiles though they were promised long ago, but it's a rubbish manager. Wrye Bash isn't rubbish, it's profile system is rubbish though. Advert over: Summary So don't wait for all mods to update because you will wait forever, instead update when you consider the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for you, I've already updated, but and this is probably the most important thing. Keep the old archives and you can change your mind. All my archives are stored on Hard Drives and only installed Mods go on the SSD, you can set it that way in MO, how? Read The Fucking Manual Finally, yes I write long and detailed explanations, then when the same question (Dumb or good) is asked again, It can be linked to by all who get tired of repeating themselves.

Switching profiles in seconds without reinstalling everything or using multiple installations of Skyrim is a winner for me, not to mention...pretty much everything in RTFM:-)

I couldn't quite make that out from the above posts. In any event, obviously, I can't get the mod to work.

I've noticed in working girl if you choose certain options, like to make the client watch you play with yourself, it start an Estrus animation (I saw both tentacle and machine). I roleplay it that when my Pc is enslaved (via SD+) by sadistic necromancer that's the way to pay for her freedom. Besides you can use estrus "basic"... which means you can just shout people and activate the animation. Fun for a while but, in my opinion, not immersive in the long run. If you too feel this way, It's possible to disable the Estrus basic .esp. For estrus chaurus to work you just need the Estrus basic files not the esp. One less .esp in your load order.

All I'm getting is actor events>monitored stats>estrus chaurus priority. Nothing happens when I get hit by the chaurus spit. Please help, how do I get this to work?

Nevermind, I found it. Thank you for mentioning estrus chaurus +. Hopefully this one will work properly.
