Much appreciated my friend.  I equipped the [FPE] condom for one iteration, and that seems to have jump started the chance notifications.  Good stuff, thanks.  Unfortunately, another bug has revealed itself.  Even when impregnation is successful, the females aren't really getting pregnant.  When I check them with the debug hotkey (show target info), they are not pregnant.  There is a workaround though; I am able to impregnate them via the debug menu hotkey, but it's just not the same, you know?  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

Hello. I decided to switch to your mod - its features in the description are just fantastic. There is a problem - pregnancy does not work. In FPE , pregnancy works .Inflation is working.I tried different versions, neo, even with 100% chances, the character will not get pregnant.

Immediately on starting a new game with both this and Horizon I got a ctd when using the pip boy if I tried to change tabs on it.  I seem to have gotten around it by moving FPE down my load order.  Auto sorting with LOOT seems to have placed it higher than Horizon was happy with.  Bottom line is, for anyone having trouble with, or wondering about, Horizon compatibility with this, you might not be able to trust automatic mod sorting.

 

If I encounter any more prominent issues later I'll come update this post so hopefully others have the into they need.

unfortunately I have never played with the horizon mod, so I wouldn't know.

also I have slowed to a crawl at the moment.

are you using UAP? if so, then it could be because Buffout is not installed correctly

No UAP but I do have Buffout.  Edit, did a little looking at my stuff, I do in fact have UAP, thought I didn't use it for some reason.  That alone should tell you how good I am at this.  So I have both.  That said, who knows if something's not matched up or is out of date or what, some of my mods were installed a good while back and I just had a hankering to play Fallout again.  I ended up with more crashing shortly after, and wasn't able to pin down the cause beyond Horizon so for now I've disabled it again.  When I have the devotion to look more closely into it, I'll make sure everything is up to date and try some more stuff to get it all working.

 

Thanks for the advice, that'll be the first one I look at when I try Horizon again in like three days.

I'm going to apologize in advance if someone has already answered this. I tried going through the pages one by one finding information on this topic but it became very time consuming as I can't seem to get the search function to work properly on these forums. I just have one simple question: Is it possible to prevent a SINGLE NPC from getting pregnant? Everything and everyone gets pregnant right now, but I have ONE NPC in my game that is special to my "immersion" we'll call it, that I do not want to allow to get pregnant, but continue to have copious amounts of sex.

I just want to know is there a command a switch a damn ring - whatever, to prevent someone from getting pregnant. If not, HOW could I go about doing this? I ripped open the .esm in FO4Edit and to no avail. I don't know enough about the GECK to try the Creation Kit; but something tells me that's where my answer lays.

I know this might seem like a weird request, but I'm at wits end here. Right now she gets pregnant but she has on an outfit that has a locked body morph, so she never swells or changes shape, but continues to have babies. so, I did make something in wasteland dairy which is basically an IUD (however I should add it to FPE) which does prevent pregnancies.

Thanks for the tip about Buffout.  Have updated all my stuff and am having another crack at this.  So far so good, only an hour or so into the run though so who knows what might happen later.  Weird that when I was originally trying to get it all working, the crash only happened consistently when FPE was active in my load order, but it doesn't really matter at this point.

I seem to be having an issue with Llama's Heather mod that I have seen some people mention, without a good fix...

When I first approach her, she seems to be functioning as expected, and I get the "Heather isn't pregnant right now" message as expected. However, when I recruit her to travel with me, I begin to get the "no pregnancy data available" message. I have tried reloading saves from before meeting her, with the same effect.

 

Other notes/my own attempted debugs

-male character, have successfully used the mod with other female companions/npcs w/o issue

-poked around in Creation Club and FO4Edit and attempted to use the "FPFP_BasePregSpell [SPEL:XX002EC1]" via the console, with temporary effect. The spell returns the proper message about not being pregnant and the mod seems to work (allow debug impregnations, gives me preg chances, exc) until I leave a cell, where she just resets to the no data message.

-Heather does retain pregnancies through a cell change

-Heather retains racial perks assigned to her through a cell change.

-have also experienced the same issue on a bare-bones mod list to check for mod conflicts

That Wasteland Dairy suggestion wasn't a bad alternative; but for this current save I don't want to pile on anymore further addons that might mess with the finnickiness of AAF. I know it sounds counter intuitive but instead what I did was revert to the older FPE, before the Redux? I believe it was discontinued awhile ago; but it still works. Anyways the simplicity of it made what I needed work - it's holding so far. I'll switch over if you incorporate a form of pregnancy control with the FPER.

With older esp though there was a formID on the notes that outright prevented pregnancy, so I fired up the CK and then went to the NPC I wanted to prevent this from; luckily it was an addon itself - so two patches for one effect ( I know, i'm working backwards here. My damn brain never lets me do things easily ) I patched in the FPFP_NoPregKW keyword to the npc in the mod; loaded up the game - and immune to pregnancy.

Is it perfect? No, is it a lot of work? Yep; and I regret not just waiting patiently. I just didn't want to seem entitled and whine about a problem I could fix if I just understood the designers mind a bit better. So although i went from A, to D, to E, to G, and eventually to F. I got there.

Thank you for the suggestion though, I really do appreciate all the work you've done in the FPE mods, both of them are wonderful.

It's still being maintained by its author (who was on an extended hiatus at one point last year), and has a number of more recent updates.

I posted this also in the General AAF section, but would like to cross post here because I'm not sure if my issue is related to FPE R.  I am running version 3.66 Full:

 

"I play with a straight male Sole Survivor in my game.  Whenever I start the game (not a new game, but resume a game wherever I left off) the AAF animations will work properly where my Nate is the giver and the females are the receiver.

 

At some point during my gaming sessions, Nate will suddenly start receiving from the females, and keep doing that until I save, close the game and then restart/resume.  I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to be related to when he wakes up "virile" from the Family Planning Enhanced Redux mod.  The first time he has sex when virile he's the giver, and then after that is when it seems to switch over.

 

I tried adding the AAF Gender Select mod  to make sure he's recognized as male, but once he switches he seems to be stuck being recognized as female.

 

I also have MCG, but I have that set to use AAF for the role preferences.

 

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?  Again, I don't know that FPE Redux is the culprit, but it does seem related.  I looked through the MCM, and couldn't find any toggle for it there (unless I'm just missing it).

Besides FPER and MCG, I also have SexEmUp, Autonomy and Wasteland Dairy Framework.  I had started another game a week ago using EgoBallistics version of FPE and without WDF, and didn't have this issue.

Hey, I'm having a weird problem with the pregnancy. Everything works completely fine, but when my character gets impregnated by a creature she gives birth to a human, which is new because she's been impregnated by dogmeat before and she gave birth to puppies instead of human babies. I did switch from FPE to this mod after I gave birth to dogmeats puppies and I downloaded Wasteland Dairy for more creature impregnation, guessing that's where I screwed up?

Greetings Friends.  Does anyone know of other mods that are known conflicts with FPE?  I have done everything that I can think of with no success.  Some of the functions of FPE are working (cumflation, cumflation messages, joke messages), however I simply cannot get pregnancy chance notification messages to fire, nor will anyone get pregnant (except via debug menu).  I have gone through the load order, and cannot find any conflicts.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks!

I've seen the latest version of FPER doing the same in my playthroughs. If I'm "fertile" then it says there's a 90% chance I got pregnant, but otherwise I get no conception chance messages. You can test and see if it's the same for you by equipping the "reproduction" consumable provided in the plugin (use ESP explorer or the help function in the console to find it), which will force you into fertility. If you're playing a male character, then equip it on your female partner instead, of course.

Thanks for your reply friend.  Yeah, I tried it, but unfortunately it did not work.  Still no conception chance message.  I don't know, time will tell I guess.  I'm hoping Invictusblade can figure this one out.

If I could make a suggestion:

 

I think your mods all have a very severe case of "feature creep". I like your mods but you keep adding new features that end up breaking existing features. Eventually everything ends up being broken and it becomes a nightmare to debug. I'm sure you are also very frustrated with constantly having to debug your own mods.

 

My suggestion: make the mod modular. For example for FPE Redux you can have a base mod that only includes features from the original FPE, and then add additional features as separate ESPs. This will make it much easier to isolate bugs and test if something is broken before they become entangled in more code.

 

Unfortunately I had to uninstall your version of FPE and reinstall the original version, because with each update something always gets broken. This is frustrating for both author and users.

 

I hope things are ok in real life. Remember to take breaks when modding gets too frustrating, it is just a game. :)

I think he did that originally then people got confused. Perhaps he needs to do the modular thing then have a wiki with answers to all the questions people ask on it
