KainsChylde Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Does anyone know of/can anyone make a conversion of this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/15604/? for New Vegas? A tutorial to do it myself would also be acceptable.
shardoom Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Does anyone know of/can anyone make a conversion of this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/15604/? for New Vegas? A tutorial to do it myself would also be acceptable. Looks interesting. If you're a TTW user Kain it should be a piece of cake. I've converted plenty of mods myself, the process is actually really simple. Just run the TTW fnvedit script on it. (bit more to it than that but not really that much) There's actually a decent youtube guide for converting FO3 to FNV mods via TTW if you've never done it before. If you're not a TTW user, then It could be, problematic. lol
KainsChylde Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I can never get TTW to work. If I could I totally would.
shardoom Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Really? Is there any particular stumbling block you hit when installing it? I know a bit about TTW, perhaps I could help?
KainsChylde Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I'm too mod-happy. I invariably have conflicts of one kind or another.
shardoom Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 TTW isn't mod unfriendly you know? I have a plugin count of 107. Some MASSIVE mod merges in there too, the actual mod count would be probably higher than double that... As long as you can work fnvedit, you can make anything play nicely with anything. TTW included. TTW is after all merely a way of turning FO3 and it's dlc's into mods for new vegas. Nothing more really...
Molevalence Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 TTW has this hatred for me as well. No matter how I try to get it to work it just won't.
shardoom Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I just don't understand why it would be hard. After the initial setup process while the TTW installer modifies your FO3 files to become FNV mods, well, they just become FNV mods. I think perhaps some people are unjustly intimidated by TTW, it really isn't that hard.
KainsChylde Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I never said it was hard. It just doesn't work for me.
Molevalence Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I agree. It's the same for me. I never said it was hard. It just doesn't work for me.
shardoom Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Well that is a shame. Ahh well, if you had a specific problem I could perhaps have helped you with it. I guess you'll just have to somehow survive without the goodness that is TTW. lol
d4nt320 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 someone have T6BB armor for the same body i like the body look like BNB body but with littler smaller boobs. i find this one but i want vanilla armor converted to T6BB http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/46-myclothcollection-31-by-alex3874/ http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/40-my-cloth-collection-nv-conversion-expansion-t6m-t6bb-tn-berryk2/ http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/39-paradise-island-conversion-expansion-t6m-t6bb-tn-berryk2/ the same BNB armor to T6BB or something
Chbaakal Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Could anyone upload the Fallout 3 .esp file that came with the FONVClothCollection? The New Vegas one is fine, but it seems the FO3 one was corrupted somehow when I Torrented the DL. File reads as 0 bytes.
Molevalence Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 For anyone interested I found this Fallout Mod for New Vegas that adds another radio station. The music here is great and goes real well with the atmosphere of the game. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35754/?
Swyke Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 As I have started FNV once again, and this time with a cute new courier, I was thinking, that she could be enhanched by a nice freckled skin texture. Has someone discovered a good looking freckled skin for TypeN? Any common T3/T6 should fit well, too.

panthercom Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 If you have Photoshop or Gimp you can add your own freckles; it's tedious work, and you want to do it in stages (add some freckles, check in game, add more freckles as needed) Freckle color should be the darkest skin tone you can find on the body, excluding nipples and lips. Use an irregular shaped brush (not circle) for the best results. Transparency between 30 to 100 percent. The freckles will stretch when the skin is wrapped around the body, and will often enlarge, so make them small to start out with. The appearance of them will change with game lighting a bit, so start out with lighter colored freckles and darken them if you need to after seeing them under a variety of lighting conditions. I used the instructions in 'Rivens Tattoo Tutorial' on the Nexus to figure out the Photoshop steps; it's just like adding a tattoo; but you don't even need to bother with creating a new layer. Just get the plugin for editing DDS files and you're good to go. The first image is my child character for New Vegas with freckles MKII; the second image is how the freckles looked on an NPC when I first started adding them about a year ago. I'm not even close to being skilled with Photoshop, but I managed to make it do what I wanted with a bit of experimenting. Glosshouse had a DC Delight FO3 add on called Ginger Edition but unfortuntally has been marked hidden on nexus, you could try PM glosshouse and see if they will reup or whatever, its face texture only no body or hands. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16925/?
