Well the phd is likely going to take at least another year so I'd like to get 2.0 done sooner than that.

MAinly after some of the gameplay mechanics you previously mentioned/BOS integration rather than the texture transformations

I also converted all of the alpha maps that was used for each of the transformations from the unp to cbbe map, so they should mostly look right as far as the intended transformation, at least for what is publically available from the corruption archives, as it seems the resource set got pulled down at some point in the past, so I had to use the alpha maps from the released mod, so they won't be quite as high quality.

 

Here is all of the completed skins in screenshot form, though I'll probably tweak the tentacle one to try to get the unp one. I'll try to post it here once I finish up converting the tentacle skin as well as trying to maybe get the morphs looking all good for cbbe and recreated to the best of my ability. Not meaning to step on the work of the mod author or anything, just thought I would do some work myself in order to use this very interesting mod in a future playthrough and have it look the best it can. At present within a compressed bsa archive it comes out to about 400 or so megs, which for the quantity of 2k BC7 compressed skins as they are optimized the Cathedral, as well as the different phases, I think isn't too bad.

Well, since I did mention it, here is a bsa archive of just the meshes/textures of the corruption mod converted to CBBE and SE, they have been run through the cathedral optimizer, and are also based off of the original mods in question that they were pulled from, and hence have a fair deal higher quality than the stock ones, though as a result they also take up a fair deal more space. They are BC7 compressed and for pretty much everything they are 2k skin textures. They have been put into a compressed BSA archive that should be able to load with the corruption.esp file, so should just be able to grab the scripts/esp out of the latest script/mesh download and pop this alongside them, and then you'll have working corruption transformations for the CBBE body type, and it works perfectly well on 3BA. The images in the quoted post, which admittedly might have been a mistake as they were perhaps ignored by being hidden, were all done on Skyrim SE with a CBBE 3BA body with the CBBE Curvy preset, and I think overall they turned out quite well. The hands isn't entirely perfect as the conversion tool used had some artifacts there, and unfortunately the tentacle one has a lower quality normal map as it was pulled from the cbbe version of the mod, which unfortunately has 2k rather than 4k textures as well as a 1k normal, but for that specific mod there was a pretty bad seam on the bottom region which stuck out when I tried converting the UNP version of the mod, so the CBBE version was used.

 

The textures themselves come out to 1.5G, which is fairly heavy but not surprising considering it was 2k skin textures for each of the 9 transformations, and each one had between 5-7 different phases that each took their own skin textures. This is one reason they are wrapped in a compressed bsa, which comes out to about 450mb, which is definitely a decent bit better than 1.5G for being on local disk space, and might improve loading perhaps due to the way that the bsa is structured rather than all loose files. As a result it's important not to pull in the meshes and textures from the LE version of the mod, and specifically only grab the esp and scripts, but it should be mostly functional, other than some of the morphs looking a little weird on cbbe due to differences in how the 2 body morphs behave. Anyway, hopefully someone finds this useful, as this is still quite a neat little mod to have lying around on a modern SE install, and I do look forward to the update landing whenever that will be, but figured I would get the mod running now and provide a way for people to do so as I've already done the work myself and figured I would give back to the community. The mod author is welcome to use these if they so desire, but I know they've done a lot of their own work on new assets so this isn't meant to be stepping on those efforts, as I'm sure they are lovely, and this is just a port of the current LE vision of how the transformations look, done in a higher quality.

 

Just as an example of the texture conversion, here is the Furry Set, other images of all the other transformations can be seen linked in the quoted post under the spoiler:

Sorry it took me a few days to respond, yes, they should be placed right next to the Corruption.esp file, also you will need to delete the meshes and textures folders if you have them, as they'll overwrite whatever is inside of the bsa.

This looks awesome, thanks! 3BA compatibility? Don't want to take anything away from this great work you've shared, but if you're running SSE and adult mods, you're pretty much using 3BA.

3BA should work just fine, that's what those screenshots were using anyway and what I have been using and testing against. Though I did notice that I think the textures I included for the furry ears are wrong, as they become all shiny and such, and don't quite look right. Did manage to pull the textures from the source mod in a higher quality, though needed to mod the mesh included with corruption for it to mostly render right. Did try using the one from the source mod, but wasn't rendering on the player and not too well versed in the difference between the ears being a bodypart and an armor addon, so perhaps there is some thing that is needed in order to use that other mesh. Doesn't quite render the same it seems, but close enough and looks decent enough. Might update the bsa at some point, we'll see, though as I said, mostly was just something I did for myself as a stopgap to play the mod, do look forward to seeing what will be in Corruption 2.0 or whatever it will be, but this works for now, and glad to see Code Serpent is still around. :)

I can't get the MCM to load, tried setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1, tried using Menu Maid... it says that "3 new menus loaded", but they don't appear in my MCM. Probably not a problem with this mod, but... I dunno. I'm playing on AE 1170, not sure if that matters or not. Is there a way to change settings via .ini or console perhaps? Not even sure the mod is started right now.

You have to activate each of the corruptions in the MCM when starting a playthrough.

 

Not had any MCM issues, but on 1.5.97

I suspect it has something to do with adding after starting a new game. Shame, was looking forward to trying out the converted textures... but I'm using a collection/modlist that comes with a custom Skyrim Unbound starting cell with pre-configured MCMs. Doing a "real" new save would take way too long :/

Did you convert the plugin to Form 44?

 

You should just need to open up the plugin in the SE creation kit and re-save it.

would it be possible to get the plugins converted to form 44? Would have have done it myself but the creation kit I got from steam wont launch at all nothing happens so idk Im on 1.6.353.0 so I guess incompatible version with my Skyrim tried looking for compatible version but couldn't find anything

I seem to recall having this problem in the past, could be an incompatibility with newer versions of DD and/or DD-NG. Objectification will not increase corruption, despite the majority of my currently-40 hour save being spent in some form of bondage or other (thanks Deviously Accessible...). Not the end of the world since we have the debug option, but hopefully something that can get fixed in future versions. Or maybe it already has!

 I had to start a new game myself to get the actual mcm to load

I hadn't converted to form 44, after doing so the MCM loaded. That's a 1% issue, most times it is not necessary to convert to form 44.s

 

The same old bugs still exist, such as oddly laggy corruption detection, outdated Devious Device support for objectification, and each action only altering a single addiction at a time; i.e. draugr performing vaginal penetration? Corruption chooses either vaginal or amalgamation (or whatever it is called), but not both for a single action. That one is probably the most annoying issue. BUT: IT WORKS! and the textures are compatible with SE/AE and 3BA! That's the biggest thing :)

Ya I had an SE version I converted awhile back for proper form/optimization but still had troubles with the mcm proc'ing. Only new game saved me. fortunately the recent 3ba textures are swappable mid game

Got another request, if someone is capable of doing so: converting the lip mesh to High Poly Head. Seems to be "non-functional" with HPH, which makes sense since HPH replaces all face/head parts with its own higher-poly equivalents. Thus at high cum guzzling corruption, the lip plump transformation doesn't happen.

It doesn't work for me at all. Corruption doesn't increase. My character can drink all the skooma in Skyrim, but the addiction tab still won't appear.

 

I found out why it doesn't work. Because of localization into another language (Because MSM is written in scripts, it can't be translated, and without translation nothing is clear((

The meshes were not optimized. This was reported to me by BodySlide. I tried to view the head meshes in it and it issued a warning. I processed them with SSE NIF Optimizer, now everything is fine. But there are also animation files, I suspect that they also need to be optimized, but I have no idea how, all the tools are quite scary.

You can't change just the lips, you need to change the whole head. All you need is to import the HPH head nif into Outfit Studio, change it (cheeks, lips) and export it with rewriting to the corresponding nifs of the mod (head, there are three of them). Then in the Creation Kit change the Head Parts entries by specifying the path to the folder where the HPH files are. In fact, you need to change a lot of entries there. I completely remade all the heads. I could share, but my edited esp is localized into another language, it is not in English.
