I've updated my game with latest versions of sexout and your mod, but I'm getting a pop up telling me to get the latest version of sexout, and I'm not getting animations in the ant nest, and the ant mutation doesn't show, instead showing a red box with a question mark. What am I missing?

The red box means that the required textures/meshes are missing somehow, try a clean install and use NMM if your not already.

I'm starting to wonder if I've got the time to start a whole new episode right now. I might switch back to the ants and maybe add some more deathclaw stuff. I dunno. Could probably do some spore carrier stuff since I've actually got a lot of the heavy lifting done on that already. You guys just can't get to it.

The scorpion episode's been needing some fixing for a while. :)

ive got a suggestion, not sure if you thought of it and its not possible, or overlooked it, but is there a way to use a script or something of the like to change the players animations when they get a mutation active?

 

for example when you went full deathclaw in riverside and get the speed increase, it just looks like your in fast forward, but still taking small strides, would it be possible to script in swapping to a new animation set when the mutations are equipped, making you move and idle more creature escque?  like longer strides and not swinging your arms by your side really fast as a deathclaw, maybe a squatting/ear scratching idle for dog, stuff like that. again not sure if its even possible to tie animations to armors/script effects, but its a thought, to flesh out and make older episodes look a lot better.

Some of you might not like this, but I think the proper way to do a spore mutation is to change the race of the player to a more planty looking one. Then add on the standard mutation mash ups that I do on top of that. A race with light green skin and dark green hair or something.

 

I think I can just change your race automatically using "matchrace". Or I could continually pop up the race menu and let you set your new appearance and keep popping it up until you change your race to the spore race. I'll also get the "visible mutations" toggle in MCM functional so those of you who don't want to lose your beautiful character won't have to.

 

Adding it as a separate race would basically break the Beauty Pack and anyone using Mojave Delighted/Desert Succubus and what not. I have no idea what would happen if you force changed to a race that didn't have the hair/eye combinations you were using. So that would be a mutation I would toggle off.

Isn't there a way to just change the texture displayed in the mutation's .nif file? I can change the texture of Fenris or any Dog ect in-game simply by opening up the .nif and changing the texture it points to, redirecting the normal dog skin to the alsatian or husky texture for instance.

The problem with that is, that'll only work with that one mesh. As soon as you switch to a pregnant body or any other armor you'll lose the texture. This is actually working out really well. It looks really cool so far.

That looks great, pity we have to do it as a race, I don't see any other option, I'm happy to add it as a race into SCR & Pregnancy would be a great alternative Female Offspring for Spore Carriers or half casts too if you did a male version.

Hey would the thing we do with cum splash shaders work or does that get cleaned off or look wrong with clothing swaps?

Was reading through some of the material for Van Buren, Black Isle's canceled fallout 3, and I saw something that reminded me of this mod. 
 

Born ghouls are ghouls who are not mutated humans, but ghouls who were actually born as ghouls. Through cruel experimentation on humans by Dr. Sebastian at the Reservation, these ghouls gestated and were birthed. Reveling in their infrequent success (the ghoul procreation experiments have a 2% success rate)[citation needed], Dr. Sebastian and Dr. Willem Clark keep their born ghoul progeny close at hand and comfortable. To them, the born ghouls represent the future of the ghoul "species", and they will do everything in their power to make sure their "children" are well taken care of.

Belle is unusually attractive for a [/size]ghoul. In fact, if it weren't for her lesions and symmetrically exposed bone, she would look like a pretty, though pale, human female. Even her hair is fairly full and long and thanks to the born ghoul’s ability to rapidly grow into adulthood within a month, she is also very curvy and fit looking. Since Belle is such an interesting success in the procreation experiment, [/size]Dr. Sebastiankeeps a close eye on Belle and interacts with her very frequently.

 

Dr. Sebastian is a ghoul doctor from the Reservation. He is obsessed with creating a reliable and perfectly repeatable method of ghoul reproduction, which lead him to the creation of born ghouls.

 

Dr. Sebastian is a ghoul with such grotesque appearance, even other ghouls flinch at. However, his grotesque features perfectly match his twisted obsession with finding a repeatable and successful way to procreate ghouls.  He thoroughly enjoys poking, prodding, cutting, and generally making his victims feel as uncomfortable as possible.  Through extensive research and experimentation, they concluded that the smoothskins would have to serve as catalysts of some sort for any ghoul procreation process. From then on, Dr. Sebastian made it his life’s mission to find a successful and repeatable way to procreate ghouls. Sebastian will stop at nothing to find a solution to the ghoul procreation dilemma, and he will go through every human until none remain, if that is what it takes.

Uhh yeah, this is totally my best mutation yet.

 

Dont want to give it away really. The spore plant in goodspring will start the episode. It's pretty different than anything I've done yet and I've got an idea for a unique boss fight at the end.

 

Looks like a female version of Swamp Thing. :D

Those pictures do look very interesting. Does this mean you'll be using the race approach more often in the future? I'm guessing it'll just depend.

 

However, the WIP xeno mutation looks a little lame in my opinion. Those don't really look like breasts, they're more like chest plates... I wonder, what if that particular mutation had three forms? You mentioned that you were interested in doing something unique with it like voluntarily changing your appearance. Maybe you can disguise yourself to look unaffected, and there's a second form which would be a hybrid similar to the WIP mutation, but the last... Maybe full stop female xeno? Perhaps by way of a skintight customized body suit (whatever method is easiest to use) to resemble them with all the feminine curves? And respective genitalia of course. Just a thought, not sure if it would be appealing. From a gameplay perspective you could vary the magnitude of your mutation based powers across each form, with the full alien morph having the most biological abilities. Perhaps at some other cost, though.

Maybe the xeno mutation (when you get around to it that is) shouldnt make you into a alien type being. Maybe a walking egg hive.

 

I just think it would fit with the whole being a breeder thing.

had some trouble with deathclaw due to the coding being so massive?
in any case the fallout new vegas engine does not care about keeping script and the rest of the game in sync

and because deathclaw deeply depends on scripting and seems to not use the quest system very well to save progress to prevent this issue

anyway funny errors happend like loading one save...waiting 5 mins for something to happen that should happen instantly

then load an other save game were the mod is in full action and randomly a few secends later the other save...starts to react to the scripting sort of mixining the two save's coding to some point?

i managed to clear the first episode of the deathclaw quest without much trouble but the town....that was a pain i must admit

i had to completely shut down the game everytime something didnt work as it should

 

so what mods did i use?

to resolve my issue i looked into my head as i often do and thinking "what would the modder say?"   its pretty clear...."your other mods are likely screwing with my mod" or something like that :D

im not entirely sure whats causing the issue but now that i removed some mods i still see the issue from time to time

this time i tried to become ant queen and well...as it didnt bother showing me the fancy video about the old queen's demise...

i loaded an other save with was from my old mod list (the part were theres ogry and deathclaw mass birth underway

the ant save then got angry and then started to play the clip 10-15 secs after the loading was done xD

 

 

well in any case this is what i experienced.....THO I WILL NOT SURRENDER!

 

anyway stability, force the game to be in sync with your coding?, perhaps clear cache when loading to prevent the mod to fight itself...hmmm....xD

oh and i'd like to see the scorpion quest fixed and get some attention, and it feels like the ant episode is not entirely complete o.o

oh and that awesome plant thing!

hmmm what else?....

work hard :D

i'll be voting for you :)...amazing mod....this mod is by far the best mod out there =O...

oh and about the entire "race" issue?

sounds like a great idea as it hold great potential but also sounds like it would be much easier to mod around a single race instead of what? 15? races and 5-20 textures and bodies (counting the modified ones)

anyway just wanted to speak out what i had on my mind about the mod and everything related...

Well anime or manga plant girls look neat(for me), but I think It is not possible to get same effect here.

Just a suggestion, maybe just make touch up transformation like poison ive from batman

Xenomorphs? They use parts of their hosts` genetic code to adapt, so they are 100% FEV-compatible.

Also, xenomorph mutation should definitely include high resistance to environmental hazards (like radiation).

alright i decided to pick up what hope i had left for one of your most beloved episodes "Riverside" sadly bugs kept coming my way.

cant quit fallout new vegas with menu or "qqq" command without the game freezing

at some point in the Riverside episode the pathfinder slowly dies and all movement slowly goes completely random (more or less)

some random chance of when a character getting fucked she would glitch into the ground and ultimately destroying her own existence and seems the quest have no interest or the likes in making a replacement

hmmm what else?....

oh and character's sentences from old events often tends to stay (a good example is i have always been able to use lucy as a teleporter to deathclaw cave (sex)

 

not entirely sure if i should call myself a retard, hopeless or unlucky  for having these issues.

but backups before every choice seems to do the trick (ofc combined with endless amount of loading to i find it's loading everything

 

 

SO...now that i told the full extend of my problem...any idea what it could be? xD

This is why making the mutation a new race is the right way to go.

I just realised I need them as a race in SCR so Pregnancy can decide on OffSpring options otherwise it's going to assume Caucasian, so added SexoutSSporeCarrier & SexoutSSporeCarrierChild into today's beta you can overwrite them with your stuff as necessary and do an esp patch when you're ready. Maybe we then add the textures to SCR Data. I'll add the other assets needed in a later release of SCR

I had that problem before, when I was using the stutterremover.esp . I fixed it by changed the 0 to 1 from the line "bFastExit = 0" in the stutterremover.ini

Hm, a spore carrier race, this should be fun, also, is it just me or is removing ant mutations bugged? And I found a "forgotten bench" in the coyote den and two recipes next to it, but I can't activate it, what do I have to do to be able to use the bench?

also had the removing ant mutation bug (basicly when the fucking was over would he glitch extremely in the ground for about 0.3 sec and then get disabled/deleted or something

i can only give you one tip to it

make a save before you enter the room hes in restart the game completely and enter (tho its pretty random when they survive or not....cant say it works there tho...oh and perhaps try give him "tcl"  may work?...i dunno...

the "forgotten bench" worked fine with me

it didnt have any GUI or anything smartass like that

simply have the items in your inventory and activate it and bang it worked for me

 

 

 

 

 

anyway i sadly finished the deathclaw campain and must say i liked it

even with the countless problems i have...because....Computers tend to hate me (im just a very unlucky person xD)

i think i saved about 50-70 times perhaps even 100 times for this campain alone

and much more...

 

however after all those bugs and stuff i can say still say....it was DEFINITELY worth it!

as i played the last parts of the campain i noticed something..."this mod could easily make a alternate ending for the main quest"...yea!

nobody likes mr. house...damn old geezer....and yes man is creepy as fuck

NCR is just infinitely power hungry

and legion?...they dont even know what the fuck they are doing!

in any case my point is that mutants/monsters/nature also got the right to claim an ending!....mankind have been endlessly cruel to it =O...

why should humanity get to rise again =O?...

its time for mutations to slowly erase what we call "mankind"!

 

anyway awesome job user29 :)....

 

oh yea i lied when i said i was done...have yet to see the babies grow up that titais gave back
