Popular Post SlaveHunter311 Posted September 7, 2020 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2020 (edited) This is an explanation of how to use one of my favorite mods out there either on the Nexus, Loverslab, or anywhere else. This is ; How to use "Just Business" to capture slaves "Just Business" is a mod that allows you to enslave any in game Npc's that you happen to defeat in the course of your adventures in through the Boston Commonwealth, Nuka World, or Far Harbor. The Npc's you enslave can be hostile enemies, raiders, gunners, synths, ghouls, and even super mutants. They can also be innocent non-hostile settlers and scavengers. It doesn't really matter who as long as they are not game essential. For example quest givers like Preston Garvey are probably not good targets to enslave because "just business" will eliminate his ability to function in the quest from them on. It would be the same as if you killed him, an essential Npc. The rest of the game would be broken in area's that involve him for input. So it is recommended that you stick to capturing nonessential npc's most of the time, unless you are absolutely sure you are finished with them and you wont miss interacting with them in the future. Why would you do this though? Well, maybe you don't think the wasteland is any place for long suffering hero types. Maybe you are sick playing like a boy scout and what you really want is to be a cretinous villain who preys on the wasteland and any who cross his path. Or maybe you just hate the evil's of the wasteland and you want to see unlawful scumbag degenerates in it put to digging ditches and other manual labors. Whether you want a raider prison camp or a harem full of girls forced to work in lingerie "Just Business" is the way to make it happen. Capturing a Slave To start with, you will need to activate "Hunter Mode." To do this you will need to designate a hotkey to activate and or deactivate it at will. You can do that in the Mod Configuration Menu in at the top of your main menu when you hit whatever the equivalent to the start button you are using. Simply scroll to MCM. Then scroll to "Just Business." Scroll down to "Hot Keys and Game Modes." From here you can assign a button from your keyboard to activate "Hunter Mode." In my case I used "H." There are many option is the MCM menu that affect "Just business" but for now lets just stick with what we need for the task. Now suit up with your best equipment for the hunt and head out into the wastes. It would be wise to recon your prey from a distance with a weapon equipped with a scope so you can plan and execute a tactical ambush. Stealth is your friend here so exploit it as much as you can. You might also consider bringing the syringer rifle with you incase you want to paralyze your target while you take out any annoying friends she might have that want to get in the way. Its silent and thankfully not so deadly, depending on what you shoot out of it. I highly recommend that you use the * Sleep Dart . It puts anybody to sleep for a limited period of time (30 mins real time or 10 game hours) or until you leave the location/cell. You can get this ammunition by using the mod "Magic Syringes" Magic Syringes at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community Once in the field its time to hit "H" to activate "Hunter Mode." Now that I have a target in my sights you can see in red the option to mark the target and thus become capturable. Hit the X button for Xbox controllers, and Square for PlayStation. Now that she's been marked by "Just Business" I need to take her down like any other enemy depleting her health down to zero. Remember, if you failed to mark her she will die when you attack her just like any other enemy. After I defeat her she should enter the "bleed out state." In this state you can enter a dialog with the target by pressing the A button for Xbox and the X button for PlayStation. Let me reiterate these are the A and X buttons on your controller, not the A or X options on the screen. Pick the A talk option. Select dialog option "Here put this collar on." This will be either an explosive or a shock collar that will keep your new slave from escaping. It also slowly destroys their dreams of ever becoming free again. This will gradually make your slave more obedient until she reaches level 100. For now she cant be trusted for much and she may even try to escape when you're away on new adventures. This is also a good point to loot anything she is carrying by entering the dialog option "show me your stuff." After your slave gets up and starts her new life you will be able to access her inventory more easily through the push of a button from now on. Choose the trade option. X for Xbox and Square for PlayStation. Hey! It seems like I forgot something didn't I? No, I didn't forget. Just Business unecrypted the clothes she was wearing when I put the collar on her. Now, hold still while I undress you honey! Ok, so I know what you're thinking, but it really is necessary. When you take someone's freedom you must also take every scrap of dignity away, forever. They need plenty of reminders of their new status as naked boot-lickers. So whether she likes it or not, things are going to be a lot more cheeky from now on. And she can sulk about it all she wants, but those clothes are never coming back! Now that you that you've introduced her to her new place in this world its time to send her to one of your Sex Dungeons-coff!-I mean settlements.... Hit the action button to enter the dialog menu again. A for Xbox and X for PlayStation. Scroll down to "go home." This will provide a list of your settlements for her to head off to so you can run along on your merry way. Send her to one and she will live there and work for you like any other settler. The jobs she can be selected for depend upon her obedience level and that increases over time from wearing the shock collar. So I recommend making her farm crops for you. Alternately you can reduce the time it takes to reach level 100 obedience by putting her in the stocks or any equivalent bondage device. If she reaches level 100 then you can actually trust her to man the guard stations of your settlement if you want to. Personally I let my raider buddies do the guard work. Whatever the case, the choice of what to do with her now is up to you. In the wasteland only the strongest survive! The weak and the unwary are preyed upon. Woe to the conquered! Once you fall in these lands you either become condor food or a naked boot licking peon! Tell her to enjoy her sensual naked servitude. From now on its all she will ever know! The End If you liked this tutorial, or at least found it useful. Please post a message. I get no kind of monetary gain from it but it cheers me up. Edited April 30, 2022 by SlaveHunter311 75
javamonsoon Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Thank you for explaining this! I love the Raider Reform School mod, which needs Just Business to collect your wards, but I couldn't figure out Hunter-mode. Weirdly enough, it's extremely straight-forward. I guess my brain was just clouded, lol! 1
SlaveHunter311 Posted September 13, 2020 Author Posted September 13, 2020 (edited) Nah dude. It may be simple once you know what to do but sometimes it takes a good thorough explanation to figure something out for the first time. You can really get lost if you don't know where to start. And if figuring it out is not intuitive enough you just end up frustrated and give up. Anyway, I am glad you found the tutorial useful. It makes my day to know that it wasn't just a waste of time for me to work on it. Now, how about the video version of the tutorial. Remember to activate Closed Captioning to see my narration. I did some digging and found a nice mod here that changes the NPC appearance to a more pleasing set of faces. I found out tho, that you can change the appearance once you enslaved someone via looksmenu. However, here is the mod https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=252179

IceBlazeWinters Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 how can i get this to be compatible with other races besides humans? i have the vulpine npc replacer downloaded, and i'm using the amelia redux mod from nexus (it changes me, nora (spouse companion), curie, and x6-88), and i'm using the selachii mod (turns cait into a shark) from nexus as well. i get: error: race isn't supported, when trying to use the collar on any kind of npc
smbecket Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 I love your tutorial. Unfortunately I am not getting results that allow me to continue past the bleed out point. I am on a Win 10 computer. Using MO2 and Just Business 0.7.5. Just Business is almost the last mod in my load order. I set H for Hunter mode and R was the default for marking the target. The carat\comma key is set as the additional dialog key. I used the Syringer rifle on a Raider and a Follower also shot her. In a couple of seconds she went down in bleed out state. When I moved to her I have two dialog options, E and R. I opened E and it has four choices: Release, Kill, Nothing and Enslave. I picked Enslave. After that E only shows the same options with Enslave greyed out. I then opened the R option which shows four options: Question, Nothing (greyed out), and two blanks for three and four. That is all I get and she just sits on the ground in bleed out state. When I click on any of the options in E or R the visual shows my character as though he is talking to her but there is no audio. Any idea what the problem might be??
SlaveHunter311 Posted October 28, 2020 Author Posted October 28, 2020 Hmmm, I am not the expert that the mod author is but I will give it a crack. My first assumption is that if the Just business system is not working the way it does in my version then you may not have installed it correctly with all the necessary requirements. Look at the requirements carefully and the requirements for the requirements. It could be something as simple as not having Text Input menu, or Extended Dialogue Interface, If that first thing does not seem to help then I recommend you ask ignotum_virum on the main support forum. You might also get a helpful response from the small community of other mod users there. I see you said you are using mod organizer, nothing wrong with that but if you don't want to fool with the load order too much might consider using Vortex. It will sort your mods the way Loot does automatically. I hope that helps or that i at least pointed you in the right direction. But if i didnt for sure speak up on the forum. Hopefully the mod author will respond.
Khaahan Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I used Just Business for years by now, never disappointed. I used it more to build my own personal army really {reached and exceeded the 100 units scattered across my settlements all over the Wasteland and even in Nuka World. I've tried to make automatic the fact they get all the same outfit to equip together with the collar but all crashed when a further update of FO4 ruined all just when things started to work out like that. Wouldn't be bad if that was going to be a possible feature of this simple yet amazing mod. I'm back after a whole year long yatus, who knows... I might find the way to push things further, this time!
RAMc Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Hey erm I have a question... Can you actually do any business using a captive slave? I mean can she/he be sold? 1
RAMc Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Also do the dialogue options work for a controller? I'm having trouble finding the options to send my slave to a settlement.

I mean can she/he be sold? Yes, you can sell the slaves. And I should really do a tutorial on that too because if you don't know what to do its pretty frustrating. You can sell your slaves at any raider boss still loyal to you in Nuka World; Mason, Nisha, or Mags. You can also sell the slaves at an auction house in Good Neighbor if you download this mod; The Auction House BETA - WIP / Beta - LoversLab The way you do it essentially is through turning on "additional dialogue mode," and approaching your slave and telling them via the ordinary dialogue options to behave because your about to sell them. Then you approach a seller-raider bosses or vendors at the auction house-and a new dialogue box will appear allowing you to sell them. The price will depend greatly on the slaves submission level. Sex skill and prostitution skill may have an impact as well but I don't know how the numbers are crunched. What I can tell you is that just based on their submission level alone selling slaves is very lucrative and you can make a ton of caps doing it. After you sell the slave the game should indicate that you made however many caps CHA-CHING! and then you can be on your way. The slave will not disappear from the area but it will be gone once you leave the area where you sold it. Just make sure that you have turned off Hunter mode before attempt to sell your slaves otherwise it wont work. Hunter mode seems to take supremacy over Additional Dialogue mode. I will have to double check that I got all my detail correct but as I remember that is essentially it.

I'm having trouble finding the options to send my slave to a settlement. You cant send your slaves to their settlements? Does the dialog menu come up at all? If not I would say you did not install the proper requirements for the mod stated on the front page. REQUIREMENTS Fallout 4 DLC Nuka-World DLC Vault-Tec Workshop F4SE Mod Configuration Menu Extended Dialogue Interface Advanced Animation Framework LL FourPlay community F4SE plugin (Included in AAF) Remember these are hard requirements they are not optional, Especially "Extended Dialogue Interface." If you installed them correctly your interface should look just like the pictures I posted on the tutorial. And to answer your question the dialog options WILL respond to the controller by pressing the right button when reaching your slave. The buttons may be displayed incorrectly if you are using a PS4 controller like me but try the right one and your golden. On the Xbox controller it should be A so on the PS4 controller it should probably be X. I think instillation is your most likely problem to fix. I doubt it is your controller or your steam settings because I played Fallout 4 with a ps4 controller and my steam account thought it was an Xbox controller and that worked fine for a year at least. I hope you find this helpful please let me know if it fixes your problem. I am not an expert moder, just a mod user. But i do like to share what I know and save people head aches. I love the way Sophie looks in this picture. She is just smoldering with rage at these two guys. 1
RAMc Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 I found out it was because this mod clashed with an older dialogue mod... All fixed now thanks 1
RAMc Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 Hi me again... So I've been playing with the just business mod enabled and everything has been great... But I have a new problem. I have had the option for slave escape enabled which I have found to be a bit annoying after a while. I resently recaptured a slave that has reach 100 in submission and have tried to send her back home but she just ignores me. It works for other slaves just not her. Is there any reason for this or am I going to have to kill the bitch?
SlaveHunter311 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 It sounds like she has gotten buggy and needs to be reset. You can reset her in the "info" area of her dialogue options or you can do it manually with console commands. Click on the character using the A button "XBox controller," or X button "PS4 controller" Use the dialogue box to scroll down to "info." Click that and scroll down to "reset." If the NPC is so messed up it wont respond to the action button then you have a couple options but I think the simplest would be to reset it via console commands. Fallout 4 console commands - The Fallout Wiki (fandom.com) The command you will want to use under NPC manipulation is probably one of these two; "Recycleactor" or "ResetAI" recycleactor – Resets some NPCs. Note: This causes randomly generated NPCs and random encounter NPCs (like a patrolling minuteman, raiders attacking a settlement, or a named traveling trader) to vanish completely from the area. This can be used without a "resurrect" command. If used on the player, it will reset all effects currently affecting the player. This makes it useful for addressing glitches. The player's inventory will reset (be emptied), and any gear or items will be removed. A Vault 111 jumpsuit will be added and equipped. Appearance, level, perks, quests, caps, fatigue, and thirst do not reset. Using the command on a companion will cause them to respawn on the next map change. Can be used when one is stuck in a Power Armor frame; the power armor set will spawn to the location where one wears it with all modifications undone. It fixes the error from the above command by refreshing their model. Using this command on a power armor frame will return the frame to its original location and replace all current armor pieces with a random assortment of leveled armor pieces (though the model won't change until entry). Using this command on a random settler will "reroll" the settler, allowing for an alternate appearance or gender. "Rerolled" settlers will spawn at one of the settler spawn points around the settlement and will stick to it until the game is restarted (which will just assign them a new spawn point). Note that this command will also reset the inventory of any NPC (including companions) to their default state, and as such, any gear or items given to them will be forfeit (the "resurrect" command also has this issue, so make sure to take any important items off of their bodies before you use that command as well). The command openactorcontainer 1 may be used while selecting any NPC with the console to open up their inventory (as if you were trading items with a companion) as a workaround for the above issues. This will work on any NPC, including creatures and robots (hostility does not stop it from working, either). Now take note that if you use this on a generic NPC like an ordinary settler then the appearance of the settler may change after being reset using this method. And they might be undressed as well. If its a special NPC like Marcy Long then she will just reload with her default equipment and appearance, but she may lose anything you have given to her before the reset if you cant remove it from here using the "openactorcontainer" command. Also maybe quicksave before you try this to be safe. ResetAI – Resets an NPC's AI. Example use case: An NPC is endlessly trying to walk through a wall, or similar non-traversable obstacle, and the commands ForcePathFailure and/or ForceRepath have revealed that it is not currently pathing. ResetAI will cause it to "forget" what it has "learned", which should stop its current behavior, and then begin "learning" again. As is apparent, the NPC AI is very limited, and the new results may not better, or even different from, the previous results, but it should provide at least a temporary respite from the immersion-ruining spectacle of an NPC relentlessly attempting the same obviously impossible action. Just in case you are not familiar with console commands, hit the ` key that's right above the tab button. Then use the mouse to click on the NPC you want to interact with. Once you click on him it will display his target ID number. Now type in the desired console command: "Recycleactor" or "ResetAI" and hit enter. I hope this fixes your problem. Let me know if it does ok.
RAMc Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 The dialogue reset seems to have worked. I made sure she didn't have anything on her first. I've sent her home and she seems to be listening... I was afraid I was going to have do explode her collar as beating her into submission wasn't working ?. Once again thank you for your help. You explanations are second to non
ElChapo69 Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Hello everybody, This mod is honestly great. I just have a small issue with it. Sometimes, when I kill someone I marked, and I try to put the collar on him via the dialogue interface, it does absolutely nothing. The thing is that sometimes it works just well and sometimes it doesn't. Do any of you have any clue of what is happening? Anyway thank you in advance and keep the great work ? 1
SlaveHunter311 Posted January 1, 2021 Author Posted January 1, 2021 I hate to tell you this but I don't know what it could possibly be causing "just business" to fail unless you have either an incompatible mod that conflicts with "just business" or more likely, that you have not installed and all of its requirements correctly. I am not saying you have, but those are my best guesses. The only other thing I can say is if the problem is not consistent it may be worth ignoring. I have had mods that were buggy at first and then started working smoothly as time goes on. Hopefully that may be what happens in your case, but I suspect probably not. Otherwise you wouldn't have bothered posting about it. I am truly sorry I couldn't help any more than this, but I am just a mod user and not a mod author. Perhaps your inquire in the "just business" help forum will get the attention of someone who can.
