What I would do is to try to change permissions on the file. You'll most likely need admin access though.

The new version of the installer will automatically ask for the proper permissions when starting.

You can disable butt physics by opening your "Settings.ini" file and setting both "enableFemaleButtPhysics" and "enableMaleButtPhysics" to "false". I'm not certain, but I think this problem may be related to changes in the nude meshes in Wicked Whims a few months ago. I'm trying to come up with a solution. 3

cableguy7uk Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 I tried it installer worked . Game now wont open until I renamed dll. which I named d3d9.dlla . Game works as it doesn't recognise the dll.. This sounds familiar wasn't this problem the same thing when Origin had control. Also noticed the Bin file has two values similar the Simulation_x64 with 14,801 KB and the d3d9.dll that conflicts with 14,941 KB. How do I finally get this working? ?
jinchan98324 Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 Hello, My Sims shake when they change clothes, but they don't shake when they walk, jog, or do other actions. Anyone have the same problem?

Anyone have the same problem? Did you use custom body parts for your sim? Did you use sliders? If yes, then you need to configure rtbp for traffic to work properly. Also the problem may be in the custom clothes that your Sim wears. Try to change it.
4666yule Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Hi, Game crashes back to EA App before the window even loads. It seems that the game is failing to load the new d3d9.dll, as the game opens when it is removed. I couldn't find any logs (probably because the game didn't open), so here are my specs instead. Ryzen 5 5500U Vega 7 i believe Hardware skinning modification in the installer was enabled.

The log says [INFO 00:01.546] Process base address: 0x22c000 [INFO 00:01.546] No custom D3D9 DLL found. Using system default.

JaHimeHisui Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 (edited) When in-game I get this I am unable to save my game, build or edit households with this mod running it seems. and when I exit back to main menu it gets stuck on the loading screen. Edit - Seems to have fixed itself when I reloaded the game again, so just make sure any changes to your game are made after the first time you load it with this mod Working fine (just have to tweak the settings because default settings turn breasts into water and they are in constant motion) Edit 2 - Mod could use some work I think, physics work like 30% of the time. It seems random when they work as during a workout like boxing bag sometimes physics start moving and then stop. Same for walking or just standing around. It's pretty weird but better than nothing I guess. Edited May 31, 2023 by JaHimeHisui Update after testing

I do use custom sliders, custom clothes and custom butt for WW; thought those were the problem so removed all mods and dressed the sims with base game clothes, tested with rtpb only and had the same result, no physics when walking, jogging, etc; just when changing clothes. 1
CPVC Posted June 1, 2023 Author Posted June 1, 2023 Well, damn. I'm sorry so many of you are still having problems with RTBP. I'm trying to figure out what the problem is, but I can't seem to reproduce the issues you guys are having. On my primary computer and on my testing computer, RTBP appears to work flawlessly. There must be something I'm missing here. I've been sitting on the next preview release for far too long. Expect another official preview release soon. I think that the ray-casting method of finding vertices is ready for prime time. 3

I'm running it from my Downloads folder on C and my game is on R. I'm also using 1.96.365.1030 and have 739 files in my Mods folder so it's a lot of mods but there doesn't seem to be any issues there with for example, sliders etc. MCCC showing no script errors either. Tried version "RTBP Preview 0.3-p2 2020-10-14" and version "RTBP Preview 2020-09-10.zip", altho breast went crazy with same settings as newer version, at least butt physics were applying when walking and doing actions; so its just a thing of tweaking the settings.ini for the older version of d3d9. @CPVC this could be a good place to start looking for a fix for the butt steady issue. Its like the newer d3d9.dll goes great for breast same as older d3d9 goes for the butt. Edited June 6, 2023 by Maverick83
