I installed this update from June and I noticed the mod support improved a lot but there are still some outfits that don't work or appear warped. I can list some of them here but most of them are from Eve:

This doesn't work at all: https://www.deviantart.com/smsims/art/PEACH-Starry-Onesie-TS4-860832037

This here appears warped: https://www.deviantart.com/smsims/art/EVE-Cheeky-Tank-Top-Sims-4-DL-786247342

There are other Eve tops that could also get support, including a few custom ones I did converting Maxis to Eve, but those are the two I need the most. And maybe after including support for these two, the other ones will be fixed as well.

I don't know how to install this manually since there is no README.HTTML file anymore (?)
I tried it with the installer but it wouldn't find my Sims 4 directory and when I chose my Game/Bin folder it said it didn't work

I have the Sims 4 in another hard drive and not in my main OS
I also have EA Apps but in the directory it's still Origin Games

I'm afraid your chosen installation directory is incorrect. It should be "F:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\". Also, you're trying to install the RTBP Installer ZIP file. You need to choose an RTBP release file ZIP. Experimental releases do not contain documentation and they're meant for testing purposes by advanced users only. They need to be manually installed.

I'm sorry, I know this is complicated. I'll try to make things easier. I'm considering renting a web server and hosting RTBP there then making the RTBP Installer automatically download the latest stable release.

Tried using p4. Instead of showing the above message, it CTDs immediately. p5 shows the message and closes the game when OK is clicked.

I think I may have solved this issue. A little more testing is needed, but I'll have a new release available very soon.

I've changed the location where the log and settings file are located, so there won't be anymore permission related errors. The log and settings file will likely be relocated to "...\[USER_NAME]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP\". This directory is owned by your account, so you'll have complete control over it for reading and writing. Hopefully this will fix all these issues.

Sorry about that. I'm kinda learning as I go here. I don't really know a lot about Windows' security system.

I've had that problem thanks to EA app take over from Origin. Like to see what caused it .  Programs can be awkward when rewritten by game developers EA!

Hopefully CPVC will sort it out just like when the mod started back in 2020.

What body mods do you use (Whicked Whims I mean)?

Do you get the weird tailbone visual discussed in this thread?

Apparently it's to do with the type of "bottom" you use in WW bodyselector but I can't find one that doesn't have it sadly. Tried them all, EVE, Dumbaby, Hikori etc

I've had this problem ?? Also the dick just going through the back/misaligned... Not sure how to fix this issue? Has anyone found a way to make it normal? I'll check my WW but I just have the default ones

Yeah, that does seem to happen occasionally. I'm not sure what causes it. I'm going to play around with the ray origins and directions and see if I can get more accurate ray casting results.

This mod makes my game unable to progress past the initial loading screen (can't reach the main menu).  Any idea what's happening?

Edit:  Solved. It was conflicting with a custom loading screen mod.

Tried to install this mod, after installation which at first seemed successful. I am unable to get past the initial loading screen. Uninstallation has not fixed the issue. Repairing game files and updating has also not fixed the issue. Are there any hidden temporary files related to rtbt i need to remove?

Oh good, I'm glad you were able to figure it out. I had no idea custom loading screens existed for The Sims 4. Would you mind linking me to the mod you were using? I may be able to add support for it and other mods like it.

outdated sims4community.lib script and package was the cause.

Hello there, first of all thank you for your hard work, I installed the latest version of the simulator, but I get the same crash and exiting behaviour that another person had.

The last line in the log file before crashing was:

[RTBP.ERRO 61:32.224] Assertion failed: "ret==D3D_OK" file /home/park/Projects/RTBP/HookedD3DDevice.cpp line 156

Seems to happen at random, it's probably driver-related, I did enable the Intel thingy in the settings file.

Here is the whole log file, hope it will help anyone find out what the issue is, and if you have any idea as to why it bugs out, feel free to tell me.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, great mod, really amazed here by your work. I just have one weird problem and I can't seem to understand what causes it. The mod works great for me with all the animations...except the animations I made :') I was even thinking of uploading them as soon as I fix some issues. I tried removing animation frames related to breasts and butts, removing breast and butt bones completely from the rig I was using to animate, removing the custom rig that includes breast and butt bones from my sims 4 studio 'mods' folder, nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In the game it looks great, but when I'm in the CAS the body of my sims deforms with some clothes and even if they are not wearing anything :C

The same thing happens to me  )=

Similar looking problem here with affected body parts frozen in place in CAS. Trying to use Commander to adjust settings doesn't seem to get any response when clicking any of the test buttons. Is there a way to use an older version of RTBP until this is fixed?
