wip Real-Time Body Physics (DirectX 11)

Hello there, first of all thank you for your hard work, I installed the latest version of the simulator, but I get the same crash and exiting behaviour that another person had.

 

The last line in the log file before crashing was:

 

[RTBP.ERRO 61:32.224] Assertion failed: "ret==D3D_OK" file /home/park/Projects/RTBP/HookedD3DDevice.cpp line 156

 

Seems to happen at random, it's probably driver-related, I did enable the Intel thingy in the settings file.

 

Here is the whole log file, hope it will help anyone find out what the issue is, and if you have any idea as to why it bugs out, feel free to tell me.

Hi, great mod, really amazed here by your work. I just have one weird problem and I can't seem to understand what causes it. The mod works great for me with all the animations...except the animations I made :') I was even thinking of uploading them as soon as I fix some issues. I tried removing animation frames related to breasts and butts, removing breast and butt bones completely from the rig I was using to animate, removing the custom rig that includes breast and butt bones from my sims 4 studio 'mods' folder, nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Similar looking problem here with affected body parts frozen in place in CAS. Trying to use Commander to adjust settings doesn't seem to get any response when clicking any of the test buttons. Is there a way to use an older version of RTBP until this is fixed?

Ok, I might have solved this problem, but more testing is needed. If not, at least I think I have an inkling of where to look.

Hi,

Once I updated RTBP to the current version for some reason my game crashes to desktop for seemingly no reason at all. How do I fix this?

I did not face this issue on the older version but as soon as i updated this mod these crashes have been happening consistently for no particular reason after playing a few minutes.Log.txt

I think I've already fixed that. It'll be in the next release, which is coming soon, right after a fix a couple nagging bugs.

Is it possible to create mod that would disable the breast bones (Denton Rigs) used to create sex animation? As far as I understand It is because of them that rtbp does not work during sex.

Is it possible to have different spring rate based on what type of clothing is being worn? Ie; formal has normal spring, sleep/nude has less spring.

You might not have write permission to the log file.

 

I'm going to switch the log and settings file to somewhere in "My Documents". That should fix any permission related problems in future.

Here, I'll give you a build of the DLL that I have now. I could use some feedback on it. There are still a couple nagging problems that I haven't solved yet, so I'm not quite ready to make this an official preview release. If I get nothing but good news from you guys, I might just package this into a official preview release.

 

Note that your settings and log files are now located at "...\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP\".

Very interesting update, physics now work during intercourse. The two biggest drawbacks that I noticed: it became more difficult to adjust the physics of the chest (the chest is too mobile). And the problem with the physics of the ass, it only works on half of the ass (an artifact in the form of invisible underwear appears), which is why I turn it off.

I just downloaded the latest experimental version.  Something is wrong with your setup.  I used firefox, right-clicked on the file to get a menu, then clicked on "save link as".

 

It looks like your private window isn't signed in to loverslab, maybe that's the difference?

Anyone know why this is happening to my sims butt? Is there a way to disable butt animations? Also curious if there is a way to alter the "weight" of the breasts, aka keep their shape but let them bounce.
