vaultbait Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 A quality of life question (redirected from the FPER thread where I originally asked, oops!): I noticed that wearing a super mutant infant renders normally aggressive super mutants non-hostile, which is very cool and makes it compelling to hang out in super mutant camps, except... this status seems to disappear the moment you un-wear the infant, and they immediately attack. Unfortunately a number of mods may strip the shield slot for sex (it's fun setting Sexual Harassment to allow super mutant approachers, but a number of approaches wind up stripping basically everything you have equipped and don't obey things like Roggvir's No-Strip Items Manager). Even simple mods like Quick Change are a problem, because switching between two different outfits both of which include the worn baby momentarily undresses you, and this is long enough for the super mutants to notice if you happen to be within line of sight. Is there a good workaround for these situations, or could the mod do something like delay faction removal for a few minutes and reset if you wear a baby again, or keep you in the faction of the last baby you were wearing as long as it's still in your inventory?

I should make a delayed change to the factions so it takes an amount of time before the smell disappears (and they become hostile again)
Origamiboy Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 (edited) I went back and tried version 2.30a on a clean save, can confirm milking npcs hasnt worked since then either... Even with the perk added, and perk requirement off Nothing happens Milking the player is fine and works as intended, not sure what is keeping the NPC's from producing Edited July 8, 2021 by Origamiboy

Thanks! Ideally it would be something on the order of several (maybe even 5-10) real world minutes, as some sex mods might take time to run their course, and holding a baby while getting fucked is slightly more far-fetched than many players' suspension of disbelief would tolerate.
Potato_Skill Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Has anyone found all the magazines added by this mod? I've been wandering around in Vault Tech regional HQ trying to find them to no avail.

Oopsies. Also, may I ask, I found a magazine that gives me the Lactation perk, what does that perk actually do? Does it mean that my character will start leaking milk if I don't give her a milker or something? I haven't found all the magazines so I can't craft milkers atm.

Origamiboy Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 The NPCs do not lactate with any milker at all for me not even the furniture, I've tested all of them. Only the player lactates, even if i add the lactation perk to the npcs manually, nothing happens. The same goes with cum machines as well, the NPC's simply do not cum either. Something is seriously broken with this mod. 1

I have the same problem, just with different mods, so I guess it's a general issue mod authors often forget to address. In my case the issue is with Infiltrator mod which allows you to use disguises, to walk around the enemies freely without them being hostile. This is a perfect mod that allows you to start sex with raiders, gunners, etc. but the trouble is that once you finish, your cover is blown because you're naked - no longer wearing the disguise and the person you just had sex with turns hostile and tries to kill you... I wish there was a universal mod to solve this problem for ALL of the mods. Right now, I'm using a very crude workaround for this, so immersion goes out the window, but at least you don't end up dead after having refreshing sex with raider or gunner chicks... My workaround is using tdetect console command which I tied to a hotkey using fo4 hotkeys mod or whatever its name is. It's basically a detection switch console script, so whenever I start sex with NPCs that could turn hostile after sex, I press the hotkey to turn the detection off and after sex and changing my clothes back to the disguise I was wearing before the sex started, I press the hotkey again to turn detection on again and everything is fine, no one turns hostile to me then. If THIS was made into a real mod / papyrus script that would just sit there in the background and trigger every time during sex, I believe there would be no harm to anything, but it would fix SO MANY cool mods out there, all of them at once...

An NPC needs to first get pregnant and give birth before they will start to lactate, just like in real life. The player doesn't need to get pregnant first, as she's assumed to still be lactating after having just given birth to Shawn (200 years in cryogenic stasis didn't interfere with that particular biological process, apparently).

Origamiboy Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 (edited) Tried everything, tried forcing pregnancy tried adding the perk manually, nothing works. Piper simply will not lactate at all, even when giving birth to a fake baby. There is some sort of dependency discrepancy with the script that is not allowing NPCs to lactate. Went through the trouble of impregnating manually and then forcing a birth, still no lactation, all it says is "You are not Lactating" when i equip it on Piper, even if i give her the perk it does not work. I'm at my wits end truly. Okay so now I managed to get my NPC to produce breast milk after 24 hours of sleeping, although i set the milk rate to .1 which should produce milk every 6 ingame minutes but it does not. Even then it still does not notify me when breast milk is produced, it only puts 10 breast milk in the inventory after 24 hours of waiting. Edited July 9, 2021 by Origamiboy 1
ebbluminous Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Yeah it only produces once every 24 hours. There are settings to change the quanity produced each time. There are settings to change the 24 hours, but the mod says these are unreliable so I have never changed them. Never had notifications either - I've always had to equip milkers on NPCs, come back at least 24 hours later. The milk rate you amended is only for your character.

This makes more sense now as to why I wasn't seeing milk. The older legacy version of Wasteland Dairy did have notifications for when an NPC produced milk but im not sure why it doesn't now, and also they produced at the same speed as the player. There is probably some reverse engineering im going to have to do with the scripts to get things exactly how I wanted... 1
Invictusblade Posted July 9, 2021 Author Posted July 9, 2021 I am working on the next update and I am fixing a problem or two with the milkers 2
vaultbait Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I've been thinking this could be interesting to use alongside Wasteland Dairy Framework: Krazymans Brahmin

Invictusblade Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 Details on the upcoming Update 1a. I fixed the overlay issue with Milkers (Blood, Milk and Semen) so that it uses an effect shader instead (it is still a bit buggy (Minor Visual Problems)) 1b. I fixed the overlays for consuming Blood, Milk and Semen 1c. I added Options to MCM to control how consumables are used (where on the body does an overlay appear) (injecting(Blood), Drinking(All three)) 2a. I removed PregnancyOptions and added the data into the individual Creature Quests (where Baby Creature Data is stored) 2b. I added More Messages to Each Creature Race for Sex, Impregnation and Birth Messages. 2c. I changed the MultiBirth Option to include a Modifier (to how long before the final Birth, does the First Birthing begin (I should really reword this)) 3. I added an Enforce Gender Option to MCM to allow/disallow Males to use Breast Milkers or Females to Use Semen Milkers 4. general cleanup of scripts Also an reminder for someone to vandalise/vandalize my Magazine cover to suit an raider theme. (simply post your edited image back onto this thread) also the underneath should still be visible but it can be Obscured so I have been planning the next update for WDF * is done so far 1. *Fixed the Races of Creatures (not sure if it is worth it yet) 2. *Made a batch file of both Baby Addons and More Creatures into one main file(suitable for new game) edit-> so at the moment it is called INVB_WastelandOffspring and it replaces FPE_BabyAddons FPEAIOCreatureAddon FPE_MoreCreatures-BabyAddons and yes, the old files will be staying, INVB_WastelandOffspring is designed for new games 3. *Rework timers to use both systems(wait(real world, old) and timer(gametime, new) (MCM Option) 4. *Removing a few items such as the non-syringe IVF Consumbles, and a few magic effects 5. Adding a couple more magazines (need some help, see below) 6. Rework Breast Control into something else (thinking Dialup Hero) (think of a similar version to this images from the following sites) except the height https://slushe.com/galleries/the-blessed-mind-10873.html https://slushe.com/galleries/the-blessed-body-10750.html https://slushe.com/galleries/zamira-transformation-sequence-9180.html https://slushe.com/galleries/becka-transformation-sequence-8265.html so what would you like to add or remove or change in the mod (Please, bullet points only (I don't really want to read paragraphs)) also I would like someone to vandalize the magazine cover in an raiders theme for placement in raider locations 1
