Guest Donkey Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Most of the older Animations has used a skeleton who did not use bouncing breast in them. So they don't bounce like walk and run from bnb. Luckily they are for new vegas. So all it takes import an bnb skeleton with animation kf file and attach a mesh to this new skeleton, then all you need to do is make changes to the breast part so to simulate the bouncing effect. It is easier doing this when you first created the animation from scratch but having to this for 300+ animations is no easy task. If bake contraints is used it will be even worse making this small change.
beck11 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 There is a bug(lol) with the bloatfly animations. After the deed my camera is off keel, its higher than usual and idk how to reset it. Tried to use tfc then back again but it didnt work. Saving and exiting the game then reloading fixes it but its annoying none the less.

I never had this problem before. Also, I've tested it on a clean save using nothing but SexoutNG and Companions, so it doesn't seem to be a compatibility issue. Anyone got something similar.

[/quote'] you don't have any new mods installed do you? I know this is what happened when I had the unmodded dance animations installed.

iron_jack Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Also Mir, assuming you can answer the above two questions "correctly", you might just have to do a complete clean save (deactivate ALL SNG-related plugins, load game, save game, reactivate plugins, load new "clean" save). I had the same thing happen after my last updating spree. Clean saving fixed it. Who knows what it is that actually borked.

The rape punch doesn't "get" any animations at all, it just picks from a subset of the animations we already have. In order for it to have more, you can let me know which ones you think it should use, or provide new animations in general and it can then use those.

Hypothetically speaking, there are two places where we can instrument breast bounce. One place is in the animations. I think an important issue for the animations is that the amount of bounce be consistent with the energy imparted to one's torso in that animation and with the other animations. Another place is in the mesh. Here, you can use mesh weights -- they have an effect roughly analogous to a "volume control" when for something like breast bounce. Personally, I think we need better tools for managing animations. We have a number of good mathematical techniques available to use, from physics and math, which really belong in a modder's toolkit. We should be able to translate between representations of motion over time (position, velocity, energy) and we should have tools for basic representation of structure (we know bodies have skeletons and skin and we can create some simple models of how muscles work -- these would not be perfect, but could be used to guide animations and keep things from getting too silly). There are high end tools already that do this, if I understand properly (Biped, I think), but we do not have to have all of the high end features. That's theory, anyways... I have been thinking about if there are "easy things" I can do to get us there, and there's a lot of file format research that I would have to do to get anything useful done. So it's possible but not any time soon, for me... Still, in the mean time... I think I would focus on a consistent set of animations rather than trying to solve everything in one place. (You are doing great stuff Donkey, and I wanted to clarify a statement I had made elsewhere in case you thought I was being critical -- I most certainly did not mean to be critical in any way shape or form -- I am just muttering to myself about stuff that means nothing to anyone that wants anything useful done in the near future.)

I played so long with BnB that i have forgotton there are also different body mods out there. Also BnB seem easier to animate then smaller once. But this forced me to try to animate the smaller once too.

I suppose sex with them would have to count as both anal AND vaginal at the same time) or a mixture of both (double knots? ouch.) Speaking of the knot though, I think it could use a little work too. ANyone else notice that it hangs a lot lower than it should?

Right now i have to much on my plate for every single creature out there. after doing a few for mirelurk i will move back to either protectron or securitron. As for knot mesh changing it slightly means you need to fix the animation too. I have not really seen the mesh yet. if anyone wants to fix it go a head make sure to slightly change the animation too, or there will be clipping.
