A much better and more fun alternative has finally arrived in Fallout 4!

High Heel Training

I will delete this thread soon.

Spoiler

I have always found funny and unbelievable see how my character sprinted with high heels. I had to do something about it, so for many days I read and studied all about scripts, properties, creation kit and so on. It was very hard, but I finally found the solution: beg for help from a real modder.

Now my character can keep whoring as it should.

Are you in trouble and want to run? Well, do like every good woman and take off your high heels.

Requirements

1. Install High Heels Sounds 1.1. Mandatory. The patches I made require this file.

2. Install Nora's Secret (ESP version only) and / or Charming High Heels (ESP only) if you have CBBE, or install Selfish High Heels (ESP only) if you use Fusion Girl.

These mods use High Heels System, so also install it if you don't have it yet (Any version of the FOMOD is fine.).

3. Download and install my patches.

4. In the case of Nora's Secret, you can deactivate the original plugin and leave mine active. Mine is the version with craftables high heels, called "NorasSecret.esp".

5. I also recommend "Better Female Walk", but it is not mandatory.

6. It does not work with high heels that already exist in the world. You must craft them after installing the patch/patches (or use ESP Explorer aflter installing the patch/patches).

These patches adds a script that disables running and jogging "OnEquip", courtesy of @Flashy (JoeR), and also adds a enchantment of speed. The final result can be seen in the gifs.

Incompatibilities.

Not at the moment.

Flashy has already warned me about playing with speed values. Bethesda's engine can be a very treacherous thing when you least expect it. Therefore, I have been testing in my game loaded with more than 200 mods, many of them with lot of scripts.

Conqueror, Attributes, Harassment, Violate, Real Handcuffs, Devious Devices, Raider Pet, Hardship, Combat Surrender, Family Planning, Reproduction System, Settlement Transfer, and so on.

So far, the result has been satisfactory. It even complements very well with Attributes, which has its own speed modification system. (Walking is slower if you have been very abused and you have Attributes installed).

I don't have M.C.G. or Zodiac, I don't know if they have speed modifiers like Attributes.

Roggvir No-Strip. It is not incompatible, but you must unequip the high heels before selecting them in the Roggvir menu.

Thanks to @Flashy (JoeR) for helping me even when he is very focused on his next big mod.

Thanks to @TheBottomhoodofSteel, meigon 119, Jack Wallace and z4x for their superbs high heels. Also to niston for his craftable version of Nora's Secret.

Also thanks to @Janecio  for "High Heel Sounds".

Thank you for your release, I love this king of immersion/roleplay mod. I will try it if I find the mod I want.

Zodiac doesn't apply any speed modifiers (or changes to other attributes).

Interestingly though, I did once make a radiation suit mod where the suit gave complete immunity to radiation. It was intended for exploring the glowing sea. The handicap was that you could only walk when wearing it. To do this it created an input layer when the suit was equipped. Input layers have an EnableRunning function, so it was as simple as applying that to the input layer. No need to mess with speedmult etc. And bonus that you're guaranteed those changes don't persist beyond that temporary inputlayer.

Initially, I had no plans to add a speedmult spell. The mod would consist on a single script to deactivate only the sprint.

inputLayer.EnableSprinting (false)

But it didn't disable jogging,(I didn't want my character to jog) so Flashy included the following inputlayer.

inputLayer.EnableRunning (false)

inputLayer.EnableSprinting (false)

The new problem was that the character moved very slowly. as if she were overencumbered. Tooooo slow for my liking. That's why I added a speed spell.

If more people ask for it, I can upload a version of the mod with the jog. In that case, the enchantment of speed would not be necessary.

So I'm curious if you would make like a +2 Charisma buff for wearing the high heels? That would then make sense on why the PC would have them on in the first place, and then also make sense for why they are taking them off later to run. Just a thought... only because I'm an immersion"ish" junkie.

That does seem like it would provide a balancing game element, otherwise why would you put heels on your character when they only have negative consequences?

Granted, you could just open your favorite heels in FO4edit and add a charisma buff too, it doesn't necessarily have to be a spell effect from this mod.

It is a very valid reasoning. I will add that and update soon.

So, instead of using scripts, is it just possible to add Magic Effect to the heels that reduce the movement speed instead?

Magic effects are also scripts...

You didn't understand me, like, some items in the world, for example, eye glasses, has enchantment of +1, it's embedded in the armor record, make the slower movement effect as enchantment effect? Btw, what is shoulder bag your character is wearing?

That would be done by patching or editing the mod which provides the clothing. If this mod provided a copy of the heels then it could do that too, yes.

There's even a vanilla Magic Effect called abFortifyActorSpeedMult used by various enchantments and spells (like a speed multiplier applied when swimming from a mag perk).

I think you can make a magical effect and disable jogging and running too. But it would be practically the same, because you must write the script ...

Yes, that is the one I used.

I like mods that add realism for the small things. This is one of those mods.

Tho i know a lot of girls that can run in their high heels. (till the fall :D)

Still, appreciated!

Anyway, i was curious about the idle pose that the pc was in at the very start of the gif hereezgif-5-d7ba56f04a83.gif.16807aa222c65e61e89e622f390215cc.gif.03cd23fdb681d1591f8746292f9e9c0a.gif

The spread legs standing animation? where's that from?
