Bonnie Lass Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I do wish you made mention of the native avatar size for forum posts. It took me a while to figure out it was 94x94. By the way, why is it that images fail to load a lot of the time, even when they're not broken?
Ashal Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 The support topics now directly link the the download page, not the the mod's entry in the download area; currently there's not way to get directly from the download page back to the mod's entry so clicking on the top row LoversLab -> Downloads -> Oblivion -> Lovers with PK -> Mod's name and/or "Downloading file: Mod's name" should direct you back to the mod's entry. This was on purpose, no point in linking them back to a download description they already viewed on the support topic. But I can also see why it'd be annoying, so I've changed it to include a File URL line along with the other auto generated lines of File Name, File Submitter, and what not. It won't show up for current downloads, only new ones and ones updated from now on.

If it's an image from imgur or similar image hosts it won't show here as they have our domain blacklisted.

What's the best image host to use for here, then?

Ozulu Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Haven't played Oblivion is a long time and just got a new PC to start from scratch and of course load Lovers....the new LoversLab website is very cool. Congrats!

I just liked how it looked, having that nice, clean, "This is the legitimate shit" version of the same post in the thread. Not to mention the recommended section at the bottom of some of them. But at the same time I can understand you making the choice you did.
GMan2 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Are image sizes still extremely small for everyone? I just went to look at some screen shots for a mod that I am interested in downloading, and all of the mod authors screen shots that he's uploaded for it appear no larger than the thumb nail. I haven't had a chance to look over all the announcements, or if updates have been posted regarding this, so forgive me if it has been answered.
zippy57 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Blog image thumbnails aren't displaying properly. Clicking on them loads the image, but the thumbnails themselves never load.
Bonnie Lass Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 It sure is a pain in the butt to use the quote system. I wish it would just show the BBcode instead of showing the (glitchy) quote window.
zippy57 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 If you want BBCode, that's what the button at the top-left of the window is for.
Bonnie Lass Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 If you want BBCode, that's what the button at the top-left of the window is for. Huh. I did not know about that. Neeevermiind.
GECK.O Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 How about to support download resume? Lately my internet connection has a problem. To save bandwidth, you can disable the paralel download, but just activate the resume capability. So people don't need to restart again and again.
zippy57 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 So those of us who do have working internet have to sit and wait for one download at a time to finish?
GECK.O Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 ^ I mean paralel download for a file, not downloading multiple files at the same time. One file one connection just like now, but support resume.
remois Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 It may sound stupid, but what I miss the most in the new design is the "last edited" prompt on messages that or I didn't see them
zippy57 Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) They're still there. EDIT: See? Edited April 6, 2013 by zippy57
visby Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I like the layout. One small issue is that the tab order on the login dialog is user name, Forgot password, then password. having the tab order be user name, password then other options would be more typical.
myuhinny Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Yeah I noticed it earlier and sent Ashal a pm to see if there was a site update if there was one it might not of been turned back on after the update.
ChancellorKremlin Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 The spoiler tab on the menu does seem to have vanished, but I always just manually type in Spoilt! [ /spoiler] anyway.
Soap desu Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 The spoiler tab on the menu does seem to have vanished, but I always just manually type in Spoilt! [ /spoiler] anyway. Did you try to use spoiler tag or was just showing the code cause it was not hidden(guessing just showing code since there is a space between the [ and the /. Anyway ya my spoiler tag button/icon, has not been available to me the last couple of hours, all I have is the Quote button near where the twitter and HTML tag is located, where are my spoils.
