aside for follower mods and mods affecting sanctuary anything else is know to be incompatible, like idk better damage mod for example ??

The only truly incompatible mods I know of are those that change vanilla follower scripts.

Hi!

 

I love your mod, it's like the super-perverted equivalent of Inigo in Fallout.  I'm very hyped for the new voice actress. Can you guess how long it will take to release 6.0 version? I know its hard to tell with big projects, i'm only expecting something like "it will take at least x months, probably more". Keep it up, you're doing, well not God's work, but a damn good one.

Good things are worth waiting for - plus the longer I don't play FO4, the more fun it will be when I do again. Breaks are good - Skyrim I can't even handle anymore sadly....

attempted 44 playthroughs last one ivey was the only mod used thats just base game and dlc, into the deep is always bugged or just flat out broken other than that mod is great. i will attempt  this mod at some other date after a major fix has been uploaded.

 

 by the way i am not a progammer or a code writer so no snarky comments as to my grammer i am tooo old to deal  with others crap.

Ok, a dumb question - any issue with NOT being Shaun's parent (Start Me Up) and Ivy?  Will there be any logic or conversation issues?

There shouldn't be any technical issues whatsoever. I doubt there's anything lore breaking, if there is it'd be a line here and there in thousands.

Don't hold your breath on a 'big fix' as there's nothing broken. For everyone else the quest works fine.

If you have any suggestions or, you know, a little bit more information to go on, I might get interested in helping you out.

No guarantees tho. I don't like your tone of voice at all.

Yea my dude/dudette/neither. CHILL, we're all pretty chill here and happy to help, provided you're crude, rude, or entitled. I've personally tested into the deep no less than 10 times on the 5.0 release and 10 more for the Big 5.2. This is not including the the few "For Fun" plays i've snuck in when Not supporting polite and pleasent people here and on discord.

2. Check your tone and choice of words

3. Be specific, what EXACTLY are you having an issue

4. wait patiently for the response, we all have lives outside of this (Yes even me)

Access, in what way? They work like Perk Mags, so you can pick them up and stall them at places to display. Their contents are copyrighted (as all of them are real magazines and Ivy's information about them is real, but sometimes extrapolated to the fallout universe). But you can find all the magazines online if you google their titles, often with all the contents freely available as well. (It's how I was able to research all of them so Ivy could comment on them).

Thanks for that reply. Sorry to bother you again though. (And I have found and read through the 5.0 blog this time) I'm trying to upgrade from v4 (Which worked fine) to v5.2.0.4 so i uninstalled v4 and dragged the 350mb file downloaded from google drive into my mod manager and installed it but now when i load the game it says 'This save file uses companionivy mod' which is not installed and she has disappeared in game. Have I installed wrong? Or do I just need to load a savegame from before I installed v4 or something? Thanks in advance.

Last game I had to cut short because I tried installing sex mods and that just really didn't go well at all. FO4 is definitely no where near as user friendly as skyrim for mods.... I noticed in the last game that Ivy seems to not really like Cait very much. However this playthrough I got Piper first and Ivy seems to just adore her. Pretty cool she has different reactions for different followers along with everything else.

 

So I had a couple questions that I may have missed something about them. When I recruit Ivy and go to her "what do you have to offer" menu, they all say the same thing. Can't remember the exact text at the moment, but I do recall they were all the same options, but not really informative as to what it might imply. Is this as it should be, or do I have something screwed up?

This game after doing her memory thing when I ended up back in the cellar with her, I opened her safe and got the magazine out. She wanted to know what was in there, but I couldn't tell her from the options I was given. She said we could talk about it later. Now I just have the mag with me and she won't talk about it. I've tried putting it back into containers and exiting, then taking it back to my inventory hoping it would trigger like a normal mag, but it doesn't. I also can't put it in a rack as it labels as a quest item if I try to do that. Again, something I screwed up?

 

Other than those two little quirks, she has been awesome. Actually makes FO4 worth playing despite me not being able to get it set up like my skyporn game. ?

You cannot upgrade from 4 to 5.

5.x needs a whole new game/save.

Hey Reg, absolutely love Ivy. My favorite follower of all time! I know you can't upgrade the mod from 4 to 5, but what about if you had the mod loaded, but never actually recruited her? I have one save game like that. I've never done any of her quests, and never gotten her from the basement in Sanctuary. Just curious about that.

I would not risk it As there may be structural changes in the two versions of how they were setup. which would break your game. But I could be wrong!

 

If you are going to test it. make a backup of the save first in case you lose it.

Sorry, it counts for any game that her scripts and ESP loaded, that's just the way this engine works.
