Probably my own head space but with all the extra outfits and armors I have from mods you'd think I'd have found something I personally like better then her default outfit yet I haven't. Not without me radically changing how she looks. Everyone else (even dogmeat) has custom gear but she vexes me. I swear I had her in an outfit in 4.0 but can't remember what that was now and i lost most of my saves between here and then thanks to a HD crash.

 

Given I played along far enough to know the significance of the dress to her, it makes me even less motivated to change it. Nice story touch btw.

Just when I thought I could try and play FO4 again because I was thinking that it would be end of July for 6.0, now I read it's the end of the year? Wonderful, I'll check again next year.

 

Or maybe it'll be released during my birthday month of March? Eh, at any rate, I'll just wait until next year to check LL again. I might have finished CP 2077 for the 2nd time by then and get bored enough to try and play FO4 again.

UPDATES

A new quest has been added to the Magazine Addon for Ivy called "Nice Rack!"

 

In it you are tasked to find the Cupboards and Furniture Picket Fences Pinup Edition. The quest will randomly place this magazine inside any one of 4 random stores in the commonwealth. It's up to players to search the locations for the book. Each time it will be in a different location. Once you are able to build the magazine racks, Ivy will comment on it when you build one in workshop mode.

 

Once unlocked, you are able to craft the WIVS radio Magazine Racks, which comes in 3 flavors and are also available as prewar versions.

Nice but i didn't get any of the NX named optional outfits for her. It was either some random ass item I got from someone I blew a hole though or one of the bazillion things i had thanks to mods i made randomly and thought she looked good in. I dropped a few since then so might be I just don;t even have it installed now. Thanks for the effort.

Was hesitating to upgrade from 4.0 to 5.2 as Chic Geek really did an amazing voice over for her.

Upgraded to 5.2 and not really liking the text to speech, but then I got her the hypercombat upgrade...

 

Saved up some perks, went to nexus to get her a sword, set hyper to always and holy fucking teleporting batman!

I love her granade teleport in/out ?

 

With horizon, full AAF, crime&punishment raider profile, MCG, conqueror and all 4 of Thuggy's mods with her affinity being handled, she actually likes it when you play raider style unlike ellen or heather (they just kept disliking), it feels like you're actually going around being a dick to every one with your love interest.

For 2 days now I've passed heather on the corner and just waved "hi" while rampaging along with ivy ?

 

 

I loved playing with heather, but ivy, damn, she is amazing and I'm really looking forward to v6 with her "voice box" restored❣️

Don't have too many clothing mods, but Xavier's Linglong suit with DOA race makes her look like she teleported straight out of a japanese animation.

Caught a glimps of the "Free as a bird" attack, and Ivy became an essential mod ?

Having an issue - during AAF SEU with Ivy, no strap on is appearing on her. Is not an issue with any other follower or NPC (vioxsis strap on mod installed and is showing when called). Thanks in advance.

Best to check in AAF sections of this forum. I don't use AAF or any animation systems with Ivy.

With all of the "Yes, it works like it should", "No, don't use it" & "It doesn't work with Ivy" on either this Meet Companion Ivy thread or the old Crazy Ivy thread, I've stopped tracking. I know it's XDI that is a no go with Ivy but, is there another mod like that, that actually works with Ivy?

 

@Reginald_001, if I can get it to work, may I upload a fitting preset for Ivy? I've got permission to use the wonderful preset of Ciri from The Witcher 3 made by navy5465 that I will be replacing Cait with. But, I think, that with Ivy's Hyper Combat being so similar to Ciri's Blink in TW3, that Ciri's face is a nice option. Ciri is the woman of Time and Space in TW3, she could easily be Ivy in 2287.

ANNOUNCEMENT

After MANY weeks of development and A LOT OF NEW FEATURES added to her. Ivy 5.3 has been handed over to the test-team. That means she should be released within 2 weeks now. This new version offers a lot of new features, bug fixes and things addressed that you all asked for.

 

Just a small selection of what's been added to 5.3.

 

Base mod:

- Small bugs were fixed in the Affinity quests.

- Mercy now has her own unique look and dress.

- Mercy's original dress can now be found as wearable item, as part of Ivy's second main affinity quest (Robotic Assimilation)

- Small bugs 'in general' were addressed.

- Ivy's Artwork will now become available after playing her Affinity Quest to successful completion.

- Ivy received many small tweaks and extra content.

- Quest integration with some vanilla quests was expanded.

- Ivy now comes with her own tutorial that she's happy to share with players.

- Ivy's Root Cellar has been greatly expanded. It now has a unique sound track and Ivy has made a set of shelves with her favorite things on it. Activating them will unlock dialogue, based on affinity and affinity quest progress.

- Ivy has received a terminal in her root cellar that she writes her inner most thoughts in. When affinity is high enough, new entries unlock.

 

Magazine Addon:

- New Pin-up style shelves were added that can be unlocked as part of a quest.

- A new Bobblehead has been added (Nicknamed the 'Runco') which slightly increases the chance of finding a pornographic magazine.

- Several small bugs were addressed increasing stability.

So, I never noticed this before, but on a new game (rebuilt after my FO4 install committed seppuku) when you kill the Courser in Greenetech Genetics, Ivy starts hacking his body with a machete. Maybe she was trying to cut his head off, but I already cut it off after clocking him good and finishing him off with Knockout Framework.

 

I was both appreciative and a bit scared of her.
