is this the human voice, robot of dose it have both?

Sometimes she speaks with a robotic voice as a remembering of her previous state, sometime she even bugs making bips and computer noise, her memory is still a bit of a mess you have to forgive her!

But mainly she has a very nice voice and she speaks in a strange way that gives you the feel that she is a sexbot mixed with a real woman, i just love it as it is, i think i would ruin everything if she would speak like a normal sexy woman. Her voice is part of her personality and if it would change in the future i would be upset!

Unfortunately you are wasting your time seeking assistance or encouragement on this thread for anything to do with AAF or sex. Indeed, because of the recent outbursts of prudery and moral judgement i have removed all of my posts that have any other content than playing Ivy on the base unmodded game. It is probably better if you treat this thread like it was on Nexus or Bethesda and definitely don't ask about or recommend any mods from LoversLab.

Ivy has the most sophisticated combat system ever coded into a companion. You can see vanilla Ivy shoot, explode, burn, stab, eviscerate, behead, unlimb, vaporise, turn-inside-out and otherwise murder her human enemies in every violent gory detail. But there is no way you can kiss or even hug Ivy. There are NO opportunities for simple human physical intimacy. Hell, it's hard enough to even sit on the same seat with her!

So it would be nice if there was a topic on LoversLab dedicated to the creation and use of AAF-type plugins with Ivy.

There is certainly enough interest, many of us already know that Ivy works with AAF with minimal issues. And maybe everyone is NOT interested in rape, torture, kidnap and abduction. In my Fallout universe the only visible plugin-generated sex is consensual - except if Ivy rapes a male NPC (but he doesn't seem to mind).

Good luck with your game

I'm not sure where this comes from. I'd have implemented stand-alone animations if I had the skill and the interest to do so (and to learn).

Any type of modding for Ivy is encouraged, which was the sole reason to make her into an ESM!

In fact it's the reason why I made this:

Hey @Reginald_001

No offense or criticism intended to you at all. Your design philosophy and delivery of the Ivy mod are exemplary. You have always made it clear that Ivy is available for modding and have given full facility for that.

What is annoying me is that people are coming to LoversLab - an X-rated porn site - and insisting that aural pornography is somehow different and "better" than visual pornography, and that people who want to see Ivy experiencing human intimacy are immature, deviant, or unappreciative of the vanilla Ivy.  I understand that people need to be comfortable inside their hypocrisy and denial, but to criticise and insult other users for their "kinks" on a porn site is just not done.

So it appears that there is a need for a "G"-rated forum for new and innocent Ivy users. "Meet Companion Ivy" is already filling that role nicely, and is why i removed my x-rated content from it. But it is not a friendly environment for advanced users and mod creators. Might i humbly suggest that the multiple Ivy topics and blogs on LoversLab be consolidated into just two topics - "Meet Companion Ivy" and perhaps "Ivy+AAF" or somesuch? (edit: "Mate Companion Ivy"? ? )

Again i apologise if i have offended you in any way. Thank you for your patience and generosity, thank you for giving us more of Ivy all the time. ❤️

As Reginald said, implementing good animations in Fallout 4 is not a simple thing, of course AAF gives you a good basis that you can use, but you still have a lot of work to make it so that when Ivy asks you to make love the animation will start.

The lapdance animation is already implemented and you could expand this to another animation using a bed, but this time you will need a coupled animation that must be synchronized, and that's exactly what AAF do.

But there is another problem, the animations you can find are not allways good unfortunately, so i have decided to make my owns that suit my taste. The existing animations are often rough and not really sensual and as i play a woman i need more woman-woman animations.

I have already set up everything in 3DSMax and it's already a huge job and a lot of learning, now i need time to animate and a LOT of time of course because that work is not easy and quite long. I have done animations a long time ago for Half-Life and Half-Life 2, it's fun, but no so easy to make them of good quality.

I hope that in some time i will be able to make an animation set, i have already made some tests but i had to stop because of work, family and so many other everyday thing i must do!

So as said Reginald you can't do everything, what he has done is a really great work and when i think about all the work that mod needed i think i would have lost all my hairs by pulling them if i had to do it myself!!?

I have been using 5.2 for a while now, and I have two suggestions...  First, if possible, give the player the choice to have the warping effects or not.    (If not possible for a choice, then I would prefer to do without the effects.)  Personally I find the flash-crack every ten seconds or so to be distracting to the point of irritation.  I probably have set her follow to 'close', but still...  Second, don't make her warping dependent on player having weapon drawn.  Just have her warp to player.  I often sneak up on enemies and equip weapon just before use.  Having Ivy immediately jump in front...  I go through a LOT of stimpaks.

Otherwise, no issues.  Wonderful work, as always.  Love the quest addition for the hyper-combat tapes and back-up processor.  (I am coming from ver. 4.x)

There was mention of a quest 'Robotic Assimilation'...  How or when does this happen?

You can control and configure her warping through the NX-2C Controller Holotape.

Ivy only warps automatically when the player has their weapon drawn.

'Robot Assimilation' kicks off at affinity 60 or higher (e.g. 'Ivy loves you very much').

'Processing Power!' kicks off after she's asked 10 times for a spare secondary backup processor. (She does that when the player picks up items and very rarely during conversation).

Looking forward to your mini-follower mod. In the meantime - I would like to run through Curie's Quest sequence - which means parking Ivy.

Even though parked - Ivy seems to tag along and help in fights.

Is this intended - and how is the mini follower mod coming?

Sometimes it happens when you dismiss her by recruiting another companion. The fix is to re-recruit Ivy and then dismiss her through her dialogue, before picking up Curie.

OR

You can download the beta version of the Multi Follower Mod here: https://discord.gg/daDRtb

In chapter 'Into the deep', up the elevator you meet Mercy on which her dialogue gets stuck mid way.

Tryed reload several times, and from diferent points.

Is there anything I can do to unstuck her dialogue?

Thank you in advance.

edit> Turns out the little one has to be present in the scene and not stuck elsewhere or else the dialogue wont play as choreographed.

edit2> This is by far the best companion mod for a Bathesda game ever made, congratilations.

I really love this mod played the older versions, thanks to everyone who has had a hand in Ivy....

But I have an issue whenever I "accidentally" shoot Ivy I get a CTD, any ideas ?

Edit: Seems like a reinstall fixed it maybe Vortex did something screwy.

But for a second question can Ivy be safely Modified with looksmenu ?

In ver. 4.x there was a 'teleport to player' or somesuch mode on the controller holotape.   I would be in favor of re-instituting that.

In 5.2 I have noticed a few inconsistancies - if the handcannon is forced, Ivy will still sometimes choose a different weapon.

If Ivy's combat style is X and player gives Ivy a weapon and ammo suitable for combat style X, Ivy will sometimes choose a weapon more suited for combat style Y.  (NOT the handcannon...)

I am aware that Ivy will sometimes 'acquire' new items , and it is these items that Ivy can use as alternatives to player-supplied weapons and ammo.  In my playthrough of 5.2 Ivy has NEVER 'acquired' and equipped new clothing or armor, only weapons and ammo.

Maybe 'inconsistancies' is not the right word?  Maybe it is just part if Ivy's AI  Still, for a sneaky type it is quite the shock when Ivy's weapon goes BOOM instead of pfft.

Don't consider this as anything other than my vague attempts to help improve Ivy - from my personal perspective.  I have just finished delving through  Ivy's subconscious, and that has made me love Ivy as a mod even more.  I CAN wait for Ivy release 6, but not without some toe-tapping and other fidgeting.

come to her
press console
click her
see her id
and SLM [IVY_ID] in the console

I use MO2 is the best mod manager
it allows you to use many interesting combinations with settings
example:
mcgFemaleWalk
Better female walk
work well and do not interfere with each other

I'm always amazed when I see how much CC is shared between the Sims and Fallout/Elder Scrolls. I have those exact jeans in the Sims 3 and as a 'high' waist option vs the many 'low-cuts' usually found. Hair is especially familiar between the 2 game engines as well. Apparently it's a lot easier to port content then create from scratch and given the excellent CC available - why not?

BTW - Looking good!
