It's similar to the three directives from Ropocop :D I'm wondering if Ivy on the end of her journey will finally overcome this part of her programming and be with sole survivor because she wants to, not because she has to.

That looks like Textbook darkface bug to me, Are you using the High Res Pack? Most mods are FAR better in Look and Vram usage. There is a dark face fix mod. But it will still crop up. I happens when the Engine runs out of Vram (Your graphics card) the fix is to make a manual save exit to desktop (not main menu) Vanilla speaking system has that "Dropped dialogue" all the damn time, I usually move my character back out of convo and try again. Sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times

@barghest666 What Version of FO4 do you have? New mods made in new CC will not work without at least Version 1.10 ( I think) may not apply to Ivy I don't know which version of CC Reg used. Modding can be easy when you start with a good base. Are you new to Modding? No beef either way, it helps to get a baseline for the user's knowledge. Feel free to @ me on discord I'm alot more active there

 

Edit - @steve6419 the quest and Mags ESPs HAVE to be active for them to work. Quest especially if you dont want the porn mag options for Ivy, just DL the file without them. I packed em and Host them that way for a reason.

Edit 2 - also Doctor Steam, I said the same thing over on Discord about wallpaper LOL

Oh my!

 

Just figured out how to get on Discord and find the Ivy channel. And you are right, there is a huge amount of artwork in there. Love the screen shots and the different interpretations of Ivy but some of that artwork is amazing!

I only just found this mod recently from a thread somewhere when I was looking up a clue on another follower/quest mod saying they (and a few others concurred) preferred this one.

I decided to give it a try, so I started a new game and have been playing it through for a little bit now.

The beginning was cool, then I thought I hit an end and was thinking it was a bit short for the hype. Then all of a sudden more things happen, and just today more started happening after thinking I had hit an end again.

This is a really engaging follower that has a very well thought out and executed story. She is definitely worth all the hype.

 

While I am awaiting the voiced version you are working on, I really don't mind this one. It actually seems to fit based on what she has gone through. It's a little quirky at times, but still seems to fit.

I don't normally play F4 as there are a lot of things that just don't seem to have been done well in the stories and quests to me. Also, I haven't played it in quite some time as I got tired of the game breaking every 3 days. Now that part seems to have settled and this mod is giving me a great story to play through.

 

Thanks for all of the work you have put into this!

It's inside a container so it can't fly away. Check the walkthrough section for gameplay hints! ;)

I'm stuck! I can't seem to be able to start the " Find a way up" quest step while I'm helping Debbie in Iveys mind. I've explored everything from the 1st floor to the 4th floor. I've thrown grenades at walls, become addicted to jett, cheated and set my jump height to 3 so I could jump up into the elevator shaft through the elevator roof panels and gone up and down the elevator where the quest marker is too many times to count not to mention several reloads and an attempt to find some gameplay of it through some searches.  Any help, suggestions would be much appreciated!  Oh, and outside of this one little snafu which is on me, I love the mod!

I ran into the same issue.  As near as I can tell it was because I committed the memory archives out of order.  When I reached the elevators I went up first instead of down, and so I found Archive 429a before 428a.  428a starts 'Find a Way Up', and 429a appears to complete it - but only if it is committed to memory AFTER 428a.  I ran around in circles forever until I finally broke down and watched the walkthrough, and retraced those steps to complete the objective.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll go back to a earlier save and try it again.

 

Edit: That worked. Apparently I found the tapes out of order on my !st attempt.

Chapter 10: Betrayal.

When she woke up, she saw her old body, lying on the operating table. The pain she experienced was more excruciating than anything she had ever felt before in her life. It was electrical.. sharp.. burning.. inconceivable. She wanted to scream but she couldn't move.
"Interface establishing.. Looking good", a voice came from behind her.
A strange man touched her neck, she could feel it, but the warmth of his hand felt different somehow.
The pain was still there, but somehow she was able to put it away.. not notice it.
A voice.. LOUD.. inside her head.
"WARNING ESTABLISHING INTERFACE. ARTIFICIAL SUBSYSTEMS INITIATING. PLEASE HOLD."
Then the world went dark and Deborah felt that she was dying.
But she wasn't dying..

 

When she woke up, she found herself in a dark room, with doors that were inexplicably closed and unbreakable.
A voice spoke to her.
"I am King Pelican.. who are you? And what are you doing here?"
"What is this place? Where am I?", she asked.
But when she looked down and saw that she was standing, and that all her wounds gone and she was fully healed, she realized that this couldn't be real.
"What's happening?", she pleaded.
"Don't worry, Deborah. You are with me now. Don't you remember me?", the pelican dropped in from a beam on the ceiling, onto the table.
"You're with us now."
"Yes, join us!", a little girl stepped from behind the broken down store counter.
She looked so familiar! Deborah was sure she had seen her before.
"It's me silly, It's Debby! Come! Let's play!", the little girl said.

I've found Ivy's decription key for hyper combat in the cooler box but its not advancing the quest, the quest keeps telling me to find it even though i picked it up. How do I advance the quest so I can run the holotape?

Once you have it, you can run the holotape.

I've ran the tape but nothing happens. I cant talk to Ivy and cant get past the the part of the quest where it says to find the decryption key even though I've found it, read it and installed the hyper combat holotape. the queset is stuck at finding the decryption key at med-tek. I dont know how to fix it.

 

I fixed it by using setstage _ivy_hypercombatenablequest 20,30 and 40, then talked with ivy and that fixed the quest. She did her teleport thing and the quest completed.
