SWEEEEEEET!! Thank you so much for your reply. Only slightly disappointing that RAM-FM is not ready yet, but i definitely won't be installing UCF for this playthrough! Do you have an expected release date for RAM-FM yet? There's plenty to do with Ivy & Dogmeat and settlements, so i will put off the vanilla companion quests until RAM-FM is released.

Just can't wait to meet Ivy 5.2, kudos to you and your team for your artful creation!  ?

The Alpha in the Discord Channel has proven to be very stable, *if* the proper instructions are followed. :)

Yes you need Everyone's Best Friend if you want to travel both with Dogmeat and Ivy.

If you do, in 5.2. Ivy recognizes this and will sometimes make a remark about the dog.

Nope, 5.2. will not have any kind of Multiple Companion system. That was tried but ultimately it turned out to be much simpler to make another mod called 'Reginalds Multi Follower Mod" which allows you 1 extra companion with near full functionality. That will be released after 5.2.

What *HAS* changed for 5.2 is that Ivy now recognizes it a little bit better when she is part of a bigger party. During magazine pickups, other companions will sometimes now be added to the scene and interact with Ivy as she speaks about picked up magazines.

RAM-FM is currently in Alpha and its download link can be found on The Ivy League Discord Channel < CLIIIIICCCK...

The worse thing, Reginald_001, is that I now remember reading about this 2 weeks ago doh ?

Version 5.2 RELEASED

Due to the filesize, the files can no longer be hosted on LoversLab and are now hosted on Gdrive.

Click on the DOWNLOAD link, wait 10 seconds, then CHOOSE ONE VERSION OF IVY.

Either the one WITH magazines, or the one WITHOUT.

- Overwrite any previous versions you had.

- No new savegame needed, but always recommended.

NEW FEATURES IN IVY 5.2

- A 'Remote Command' can be bound to a hotkey now, making it so you can 'command' Ivy instantly without having to 'select' her first.

- Create it in the chem workbench!

- The Remote Command hotkey can be used to guide Ivy's HyperCombat(!)

- HyperCombat has been redesigned from scratch and is now far more stable.

- New HyperCombat attacks have been added. (e.g. different types of grenade attacks).

- HyperCombat attacks can now be dangerous to players as well as other Enemies.

- HyperCombat is not disabled around the BOS any longer.

- The OVERKILL attack has been added!

When Ivy panics and there are more than 5 enemies and health is low, she will engage in a furious HyperCombat attack that slows down time and kills most enemies in the area. Sit back and watch as Ivy kills everything that's threatening. (Can be configured on/off in through settings).

- Ivy now sometimes uses stealth, if the odds are overwhelming she will activate an internal stealth boy.

- Players can now play 21/BlackJack with Ivy, through the 'Service Menu'.

- Ivy is now more animated during dialogue, she will have more expressions and seem more 'alive'.

- Ivy's situational awareness has greatly increased.

- Depending on the rate of affinity, Ivy now has several presents for the player.

- Around 300 new lines of dialogue surround item pickups, lockpicking ,etc..

2 NEW AFFINITY QUESTS IN IVY 5.2

1) 'Robotic Assimilation'

Follow Deborah's trail through the Commonwealth and learn how she finally ended up becoming Ivy.

2) 'Processing Power!'

After asking so many times, it's time to help Ivy find a Spare Secondary Backup Processor, don't you think?

ChangeLog & Bug Fixes:

- Ivy now automatically stows her weapon when engaged in camera dialogue with the player.

- Fixed Ivy's scanning frequency and scanning routines.

- Several bugfixes in Ivy's packages and random chatter routines (e.g. when she talks to other NPC's)

Magazine Addon Changelog:

- Some other companions now are a part of Ivy's magazine lines.

- Ivy no longer engages in a long dialogue about magazines when enemies are nearby.

- Ivy's responses to Magazine pickups can now be configured through the magazine settings holotape.

MCM is not needed. As to that compatibility error, I never heard of that before.

Maybe @kchurchjr has an idea?

Thanks for your hard work, Reginald!  This is a beautiful mod and I actually dusted off Fallout 4 after letting it sit idle for months just for Ivy!  I just downloaded 5.2 but haven't upgraded from 5.1 yet.

I have a question though.  Now that there is an install version that appears to have the magazines baked in, can/should I uninstall the magazine add-on?

There are two options. Just Ivy, or Ivy with the magazines. You can download either one.

Hi @Reginald_001!

Beautiful smooth install except for one serious issue. Ivy's installer tries to overwrite the desktop.ini file used by @Indarello for his AnimationsPatch. Indarello's desktop.ini file contains important information for his patch, while the one in Ivy's installer just contains malware (imho) to let google spy on your desktop. Denying the overwrite (in NMM) doesn't seem to affect Ivy's install or performance. Maybe you could mention that in the install instructions or even remove it from your installer?

Otherwise everything is going brilliantly, Ivy is working in every respect. We have rescued Preston and his mob from Concord and are now Transfer Settlementing in Sanctuary Hills (including Ivy's House) just to shove it up Sturges every time he asks for another favour. Then it's off into the wasteland for us to create whatever mischief we can! Can't wait to start Ivy's affinity quests.

Thanks Reginald & team, fine work as usual! ?

I've checked the archive and there is no desktop.ini inside of it, so I'm not sure where that's from.

Maybe @kchurchjr knows about this?

THAT has been addressed, Just redownload the mod the Ini is not malware. It's actually MY desktop INI that my google drive auto backed up when I was compiling the 5.2 update

Hi Reginald, i have question regarding Ivy. When I'm picking up things (trash, things, etc) she's not commenting about it at all. It happened in 5.1 version and also happens now. It's possible that one of my mods is breaking that feature? (attached mod list, Im not using aft)I  have lot of them and enabling/disabling/testing would be very time-consuming (tried new game to see what happens but no luck). Also I did new affinity quest Robotic Assimilation - it's quite entertaining and revealing more Deb/Ivy's past, i like that. Second one haven't triggered for me yet, i'm impatiently waiting. I've got Ivy's affinity maxed on my main save, maybe that's why. Cheers!

To draw... or not to draw.. that's the real question...

Like Shakespeare at blackjack :P

Nope. That has been addressed. I USED to host the Ivy builds in my GDrive. I have since made a NEW drive for Ivy hosting that is NOT synced with my pc.

@steve6419 that was again my bad. Gdrive sync shit. New esm uploaded and folders clean. You should be good to go.

At all. There are, just like 5.0 2 options. Porn mags plugin or no por mags. Pick one install and rock the wasteland

Yay! Followed instruction, removing Ivy ver 4 (along with ChicGeek ?), and adding 5.2

Everything loaded fine - new game, made my sex mag holotape, and just a few questions/clarifications....

I like a good scavenger hunt, but didn't want to open every 'open-able' container in the world, so rereading the holotape, it infers 4 types of containers - safes, trash bins, dufflebags, and mailboxes. I found one in a large postal mailbox for deposits, so I get it's a mailbox, but wanted to be sure I don't overlook any other types of containers....

I was worried about no separate VO file, but comparing file sizes, I guessed it was 'all inclusive'. 1st talking with Ivy had robo voice, but soon after even before leaving Ivy's room, She mentioned something about her voice and I'm guessing that is now an integrated questline somewhat along 'Find Ivy's Voice'?

Glad I waited, as now FO4 is still interesting enough for me to enjoy taking my time and exploring the new and improved Ivy. I've just about tried every build within reason in the past, so player 'design' will probably be more attuned to how playing goes with Ivy.

>>> Does Ivy get her human voice in a quest?

>>> Do I need to look in any containers other than Mailboxes, Dufflebags, Safes, Garbage Bins for Magazines?

Thanks guys!

I was talking about Hamlet and his monologue,a line from which the author paraphrased. Be or not to be

I don't care what files are there-I just delete them.

But I figure that I will have a least 3 months before we get some kind of "Release" date for Ivy 6.0 with the new VA. I know that we are to expect a trailer in January, but it will take at least until March before it can even be talked about a release.

Waaaaay back on page 7 I said the above. I was "On the Nosy" with the March date. Because, it said: "When it's done" So, March WAS when it could have been talked about.

I'm gonna watch the VA Trailer a few more times. I need to get a feel for the voice. Maybe a few times with my eyes closed, just to listen and not see. I'm not going to say anything about the new or the old before I do.
