I have Zero issues with the mod, everything works fine, thank you for the time and effort. Ivy adds so much to my gametime.

We now return you to Troubleshooting: Did you read the FAQ?  Already in Progress.

I just noticed, that Ivy had lost her pistol and she just used another one for quite a while. I don't want to reload that far back...

I think, I found the ID for the console to add it again. But it does not appear in the inventory (both in mine or in hers).

Does anyone know, how to give it back to her?

Use the NX-2C controller holotape

After completing Ivy Goes To NukaWorld, the third person walking speed is all messed up, way too quick. How can this be remedied?

crouch once and/or load/save.

If all else fails 'set player.speedmult 100' in console.

Did. Which is odd since the walk speed did not normalize even with console commands. In the end it resolved itself with simply rebooting the game, which does achieve the desired results. But alas thank you regardless.

It's been my experience that using setav speedmult 100 adds 100 to speedmult.  I've found that using forceav speedmult 100 sets it correctly (actually, I like to set speedmult to 130, but that's me).

Just ignore me.  I'm old and confused.

You are confused with modav v.s. setav commands. ;)

Modav adds/removes. Setav 'sets'.

ForceAV just breaks it because future perks don't get added anymore because it's literally forced.

So I never recommend that.

Ooops.  Just ignore me folks.  I'm old and quite forgetful.

Hey, sorry ahead of time but this is my first real post and not entirely sure the rules or etiquette. Been watching Reginald's stream on Discord and all the hard work and attention to detail has been really inspiring. So I figured I'd work on Ivy too in my own little way by creating a character preset for her when 6.0 comes out. I'm finally done working on it (and even got into experimenting with ENBs!) so I figured I'd share it. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers

Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich die Firmware für die HyperCombat-Quest installieren kann? Ich habe sie gefunden, aber wie zum Teufel soll ich sie auf Ivy verwenden?

Love the mod but 2 things..

#1 The magazine were/are a cool feature , but I had to edit the perks out because there were a few perks that I really dislike and never use. I was like wth?, why is that happening.  Then, when I got too a really high level and I couldn't even test out a scene because the enemy would surrender or die from a perk with my character just standing there passively

#2  I'm current hunting down to edit the voice line about the the work bench because Ivy's tells me the raider story , like every friggin time  I use the it. It got to the point of me cutting my speakers when she start telling me again.

Anyway, best companion mods I've tried 👍

So..

i have tried to play fallout 4 three times.. and as i was looking through mods here and there.. wait.. lets back up.. in attempt number 2 there was the Arthur kid and you get curie.

her voice is like honey in my ear... so i decided to change my play style to accommodate this follower.. well the game crashed and i had to start over.. so i took my time and i slowly worked my way down to curie. except your mod got there first.. i don't rush anything.. and as i started to get my special lined up for end game i started looking at followers.

i wanted some very specific functions. and a rather specific personality it seems.

i watched maybe 2 seconds of the you tube video and was hooked.. her radio is on point... like get the fuck out of my head. your dialogue speech lines after combat.... love it. the first time i was asked to rough up her client.. done... i am very impressed with her wet wear.. her use of flash bangs has been impressive. she will automatically switch to modded weapons.. just really great. and thanks for the radio...

Hey, I really like the look of this mod and I want to try it out, but she seems to take up the companion slot and I am wondering what mod, if any, works with her to allow me to take more companions. Since I use the simple mod that lets me take dogmeat with another companion, but I would also like to take Codsworth with me.

Reginald (creator of Ivy) has a multi-follower mod on his Discord.  Find one of his posts here, it has a link to be invited.

Development on 'Space Vault 14 and The Pelican Conundrum' (aka Ivy in Far Harbor) is progressing steadily. The custom maps are growing and becoming a progressing whole, fitting the journey that Ivy and players will partake in. This final quest is already the biggest add on ever made for Ivy, the two main quests Space Vault 14 and The Pelican Conundrum are already close to twice the size in terms of quest progression compared to Ivy's main affinity quests. A lot will happen and Kansas will go bye bye.

Below are some VERY work in progress (e.g. lighting still missing, detailing still missing) CREATIONKIT screenshots of map progression on Space Vault 14.

It will all be done, when it's done.

Hello Reginald! I basically only joined this group for your awesome Companion Ivy Mod, and I am loving it and can't imagine starting a FO4 game without her! I am however currently having a problem with the "Institutionalized" quest, it seems to be conflicting with Ivy for some strange reason. Before I made this post, I scoured this help topic for possible answers but I am unable to resolve this on my own, perhaps due to my newbie knowledge when it comes to modding Fallout 4. I have read your recent comment regarding someone else reporting this same issue that the Institutionalized problem had been patched on version 6.1, and I do have the latest version of Companion Ivy which is 6.1.7 but I am still unable to interact with young Shawn behind the glass. I have teleported Ivy by my side the moment I entered the Institute as suggested, before getting on the terminal to insert the network scanner but when i got down to where young Shawn is and tried to interact with him, nothing. I disabled Companion Ivy mod on my mod organizer while leaving all my other mods active and that specific quest progresses properly without a hitch that's why I came to the conclusion that Companion Ivy mod is conflicting with this particular quest. I could just add her mod again after finishing this quest but this would mean starting her from scratch (I started my playthrough with her in tow from the beginning and we progressed through the game together as suggested so I don't miss out on all her dialogues), but I was hoping for another solution that might be able to fix this small hiccup. I might be missing something, and was hoping you can shed some light on this. One unusual thing also I've noticed with Ivy while in Shaun's room, when trying to talk to her she will say "your wish is my command" and nothing pops up as far as options to start a conversation.

Hi, I'm not sure if I made a mistake but I was able to activate Hypercombat when I got the installation tape by using the tape to get the quest for the decryption key, exiting the inventory, going in again and using the tape again. With EULA reading and all that. I still have the quest for the decryption key though.

To resolve the quest glitch and just continue on with my playthrough without restarting Ivy, I just went ahead and used console commands to bypass talking with young Shawn and father, TCL through the door and initiated "Meet The Division Leaders" and moved on from there.

This was solved in the 6.1 patch, the trick is to teleport Ivy to you as soon as you end up in the Institute.

Yes, a newly arised known issue. Working on a fix for the coming release.
