After the synths, you go to a terminal on the window, and activate the AI from there.

So after "Stay Alive" I have to use a terminal to open the AI scene? Damn, my brain hurts because I don't remember doing that before. :P

Don't smoke pot kids.

Heather actually joined me in Ivy's mind somehow and I got MAD affinity points with her by having HER unlock all the terminals and helping me kill all those synths.....which weren't that many actually, but they all had skulls next to their names because I had patched the quest and was only level two I think.  LOADS of fun!

My love for Ivy outweighs my love for AFT so I uninstalled it before starting my Ivy play through.  I do miss the feature that allows the followers to be sent to their original homes, Home Plate, etc. My question is will a mod that allows players to do this such as Companions Go Home also cause conflict? I didn't see this discussed elsewhere so my apologies in advanced if it has been discussed.

I use Expired6978's EFF (UCF) but I never Quick hire Ivy or Darlene with it and I ESPECIALLY never use it with Heather.  Ivy will go to her Bunker if you don't assign her to a settlement I believe, but I could NEVER send her back to that dreary hole.  I haven't used Companions Go Home in years because I ALWAYS have a new cool place for them to hang-out or get parked if I don't ever plan on using them again.  Like Nick always ends up at the Acadia settlement in FH after I've done that quest line because FAMILY is important.  Strong goes to my Friendly Supermutant Airplane Crash Settlement in FH also.  He and that eloquent dog selling SM have LOTS to talk about I'm sure.   Oh, and Hancock ends up out in that Mirelurk swamp settlement that I never go to while I take over his digs as a full settlement and make Fahrenheit the maid.  Anyway, if I was you I'd take a long look at how it touches Ivy's dialogue if at all before I used it.  Good luck!

Maybe that's what I will do, rather than send them back places I will get creative with my settlements.  This play through I went BoS, so I do have some decisions to make with Danse.  Maybe I can still find an out of the way place for him.  Also, I am a big fan of placing followers at Home Plate for a time.  When I started really focusing on Ivy, I opted away from  Heather and Darlene. Anyway, thanks for the reply and giving me things to consider.

My Go-To-Crew is Darlene, Heather & Ivy so with me we got a four "person" Fire Team.  Only take out the "Squad" on my weekends when we either hunt REALLY tough Zetans, hit the club or dance on the beach.  It's a rough life but somebody has to live it I guess.  Poor Danse.....I always save that Synth's life then leave him in that bunker.  He's just too BIG for my play style now that Ivy has convinced me to give up Power Armor.  The things we do OR in this case, DON'T do, for love.  ?

I always just tab-out of the 'sent to settlement' popup, and then if an NPC was never assigned to any settlement to begin with, they go back to their home automatically.

How do people have their BodyGen configs set up for Ivy? I've tried different setups but everything I've tried so far leads to her getting a random body shape rather than the specific one assigned for her.

I've tried both of the the following, but neither setup works correctly:

CompanionIvy.esm folder

morphs.ini file:

CompanionIvy.esm|029720=Josie Body - Fusion Outfit

templates.ini file:

...

Fallout4.esm folder

morphs.ini file:

CompanionIvy.esm|029720=Josie Body - Fusion Outfit

templates.ini file:

...

I'm using

to regenerate her morphs in game, but each time the regenerate command is used the body shape is different, which seems to indicate she's just being assigned one of the templates for random NPCs rather than the one for her specifically, since the template I'm trying to assign her doesn't have any shape randomness. I know my BodyGen setup is working somewhat since the NPCs at the beginning of the game had varying body shapes. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Edit: In case I'm messing up the ID, when I click on her in game with the console open, her ID shown is 0c029720

Edit 2: So I apparently had 2 different problems which made solving this more difficult:

1. I was using the wrong ID. The ID shown when you click on an NPC is apparently not their "FormID". The Better Console mod allowed me to get the correct ID which it labels as "BaseID". I will say that I did try the BaseID before as well, but it didn't work because of problem #2.

2. I have

installed which also supplies BodyGen configs, and apparently these were overriding the ones I was working with. Once I removed those and started using the correct ID, the correct body morphs were applied to Ivy.

What?

Ivy has human body just like other npc. What bodygen config?

If you want to change Ivy, just type slm *ivy's id* and make any change you want.

There's actually a Looksmenu option which allows NPC bodies to be modified "real time" during play.  I use it for the males because it came with the male body mod I'm using.  I don't use it for females but obviously some people do.

Yeah I don't want to be concerned with editing the body shapes of various NPCs in the middle of a playthrough, and then have to redo it on subsequent playthroughs. I'd rather just set it and forget it.

So do you just leave all female NPCs with the same body shape? I like to have a variety of shapes for both male and female.

Since Ivy is avalible very early does she's really strong in combat?

My game is extremly hard i like that survival feeling and im scared that Ivy become OP too fast and kinda ruin the balance of my game.
What can you guys say about it?

Ivy is certainly helpful but not OP in my game.  I usually kill what she wants to kill first........I'm quick on the draw and I got a great .50 cal Automatic Sniper Rifle.  She often says something about 2.7 seconds, but then the mob is dead so she just stands there looking beautiful.   Games are supposed to be FUN....so, being challenged is cool, which is why I go around changing Leveled spawns to be VERY Hard instead of EASY.  I like the skull next to the names of the mobs.  OH, and if you REALLY want a challenge....then go here:  Wrong Link Fixed - My BAD - Need more sleep.

I took Darlene, Heather & Ivy there at level 30 and almost got my arse handed to be a couple of times.  Thanks to my team, I didn't die even once and had a GREAT time.  But pack a lunch.  It took us all night to clear that place.

Your 'nexus mods' link is to a non-existent LL page

You can disable hypercombat features and adjust her combat settings in her controller holotape.

But this is a subjective question that can only have subjective answers, so 'it depends'

Thank you, i'll do that :)
Since I was alway playing with Heather but wanted to change and heard only Ivy has the same quality level.

I will probably change Ivy look to be more like a cyborg/synth her skin, but im scared that it mess with her quest, and i don't want to be spoild >.<

I would have loved to have Ivy like a damaged bot at first, then along her quest it would require to "build" her back.
