Help!

I don't know what happened but ivy just stopped talking and I cant recruit her back anymore. I have piper currently companion and i can talk her normally, but ivys dialogue won't open.

lol nvm, i got this working, maybe lag issue in game, i just restarted my game some times try load older saves, then new one and got all working now, but there was long pause before she opened dialogue.

Another Ivy bug/issue

Every time she teleports into the Institute, her body goes invisible.

The easy fix is to save, quit to menu, load save. The only other time I've seen this is sometimes with bobby No Nose at the end of the Big Dig.

Is this a vanilla game issue and fixable on my end?

It's an issue specific to the custom body and clothing you installed, not really to do with Ivy.

I am having a problem with broken interiors such as Hubris Comics, Fallons Store, Shaw High School, West Roxbury Station underground, and probably a bunch of others I've forgotten. I think they were all places I had to visit with Ivy to collect notes. The interior walls, floors and ceilings have all disappeared (they are still there but invisible) making it extremely difficult to navigate. The only way through it is to turn off collision.

I use loot to sort the load order.

Any ideas please ?

Is there option to take ivy's reaction off when use power armor, she hates it. I can take that off with xEdit, but i don't know if its really safe.

good mod anyway, lot thanks to modders. She is bit op, but thats fine, i dont use her always with me anyway. Somewhere was noted that she should be with almost always, but this is my 2. or just 3. playthough with FO4, im still missing lot stuff i haven't done earlier sessions.

Ivy's dislike of Power Armor is part of her backstory. You find out when you complete her various quests. Disabling it would make no sense with her character.

I don't have an issue with it as I only ever use PA at the Concord Museum. I just find it to be too clunky and too material intensive to keep it running in good working order.

There is no real impact on her affinity. You get a message she hates it, but there's no penalty for it.

That sounds great, affinity system was pain in starters, now i dont care so much. Also later I found you get affinity just keeping companion on. And yeah I like use sometimes power armor, but not much really. its sometimes so fun to jump down from high building, after you push out your compaion first.

I'm having trouble getting Ivy's Nuka World Quest Started. She keeps saying "I want to talk about Nuka World," but never does. Somebody in another forum told me to fix this by unchecking Nuka World DLC, moving to a new location, making a hard save, and exiting and restarting the game. Trouble is NW DLC is unmanaged by my MOD manager so I can't uncheck it. I also see that old patches don't work with IVY 6.0 what I have currently installed are AML_Ivy, CompanionIvy, CompanionIvy_MagAddon, Companion Ivy patch for XDI, and CompanionIvy_Nuka. On the right hand side of Mod Organizer they are listed as Companion_Ivy_RealSex_Mod.esp, CompanionIvy.esm, CompanionIvy_Mags.esp, CompanionIvy_Nuka.esp, and CompanionIvy_quest.esp.

No you need to temporarily disable the CompanionIvy_Nuka.esp file.

I have a question because I don't get the "Flirt option". Hence not the erotic service menu. I've always talked to Ivy a lot, a lot. But talk little with dirty.
What do I have to do so that I can flirt with Ivy and then get the erotic menu.

The help (pitboy) says it should come after a certain amount of affinity. But I don't get a flirt option.
Otherwise everything went without problems. (no AFT etc.)
I am asking for help here as it is such a lovely follower.

Here are my data, I play on PC:
1st game, up to lvl 49, affinity=165, did all quests, finally "Steins Construct" and "End Sinister" with a positive outcome. Ivy stays with me. But no flirting option. Spoke a little dirty.

2nd game, new beginning, since no flirt option and erotic service menu.
I'm at lvl 25 now, have affinity of 66, started quest Robotic Assimilation now. Until now I haven't had a flirt option. What am I doing wrong??? Do you need to talk dirty to Ivy more? Unfortunately I don't know what I can do. Please help me. Thanks very much.

Both flirt and the service menu options are open from the start. The erotic memory menu from affinity 10 and up.

Don't know what you're doing, but explore all of her dialogue options better than you did until now, is all I can advice you!

It's all there from the get go. Especially 'flirt' (which is the 'talk dirty' option when in conversation with her).

Everything runs perfectly with Ivy and is great. Everything really works perfectly. I'm so intrigued by Ivy.

I've always used "talk dirty" very little,

only "your thoughts". I will now always try "dirty talk"
to use. Maybe something will happen then.

I now have the following menus (PC):

3. That all

4. How do you feel about us?

2. Dismiss

I have these menus in all Ivy games. As lvl 49, affinity 165 or lvl 25, affinity 66 and just started again Ivy lvl 7 and affinity 12.
I always have the same menus for everyone.

So no sex with Ivy.

Yeah that's it! 'Talk Dirty' more than 9 times and Ivy should 'offer' some services.

Note, all of it's insinuated with fade outs, like o.g. romantic scenes in Fo4.

I deliberately let the sex with Ivy trigger the "dirty talk" after "Ivy Inside".

This seemed the most logical to me after my own "role-play" plot concept...

...because, among other things, Ivy's great affection for my character is the (actual) trigger for this crisis for her.
at least I interpret the statements of the mental "projections" in this direction

Ergo, a correspondingly long dirty talk took place as an introduction to the erotic celebration to see them both again

Even if the sex service (dirty talk) doesn't work for me. Too bad, but no problem for me. I also thank you for your help.
Ivy is an asset to FO4 as a companion. I will always have Ivy with me in the future. Maybe she'll stay at home to test other companions.

But generally I want to hear that voice from her when we're killing Raiders or others. For me, this Ivy mod is a masterpiece.

I wish you continued success and new ideas for future projects.

Finally settled on my "lore friendly" Ivy preset. Also stumbled upon a great replacer line for the "defiant" "F*ck I'm horny. Wanna have sex?" It just makes more sense to me that at some point an Ivy who is NOT being pimped out by her caring SS husband will realize that making love is always better than "just sex." But I digress. Again. Game On! ?

I had trouble getting the "dirty talk" to work correctly for a while...

...setting the language options in the "Service" menu is a bit confusing - since there are TWO levels of "dirty talk".
Both must be active - i.e. Ivy must not reply like:
"You haven't unlocked dirty talk"

ultimately, it also needs the AAF system - otherwise you only have a black screen during sex

Ivy doesn't offer me the service at all no matter how many times I press "dirty talk". Here are my menus. Now where is the second level of dirty talk here? Where/how do I set it?
If I press "dirty talk" during a conversation, Ivy answers some sentences. But there is no service from her. I also did not receive any message windows about the service (top left of the screen). With AAF and black screen is clear, but I've never gotten that far.

I now have the following menus (PC):

Here's an example with Ivy: I'm on this screen with Ivy on a side quest (Strong and Dr. Anyhow). Got lvl 30 and right at that moment when I get on the elevator with Ivy I got the quest from Ivy: Ivy goes to Nuka World. I have an affinity of 85 here. I just wanted to show that Ivy works without any problems.
I only used the "dirty talk" button from lvl 20, because I didn't know that the dirty talk = flirt button is about every 2 hours in the game. So lvl 10 always use the "dirty talk" button. Without success.

It's such a great companion that it's worth checking out. But I don't want to annoy the author every day either.

Maybe you can help me or someone else from the community.
