Hmmm....that was yesterday for me.  You must be in a pretty interesting time zone.  ?  It's my brother's birthday today, so I wrote him a song.  BTW, you're Ivy is lovely and that wreath is quite fetching.  She looks all Steampunk S&M Knight-Princess to me.   Trying to figure out where you are with that dead ghoul in the background AND exactly how many armor pieces Ivy is wearing right now.  ?   But I digress.  Again.  Game On!  ?

@SekachPrime I'm having the same error with Resaver. fyi there is a new version of that tool out now v6.0.557, but same error. I pinned it down to any save after ivy is activated. i even cleaned the scripts with  FO4Edit.exe, even though it found and fixed errors in the ivy scripts, it didn't help. I also updated java to the latest.

 

UPDATE: apparently there is a new version of resaver on the skyrim part of nexus v6.0.612. I tried that one and it worked, no more error.

Oops.....well.....I would say if you DON'T actually know what ReSaver does and aren't familiar with necessary "unattached" instances then ReSaver could cause you issues....BUT.....since I've been using it for YEARS....of course I still do.   And I still use EFF (UCF) and AFF and everything else that can cause issues with followers if you don't know what you are doing, except LIGA of course and Ivy is NOT broken.  She's a champ!  She's a GOLDEN follower and if you keep her in Companion Slot 1 during her vanilla quest content...it plays.....almost perfectly despite ONE "locational" issue I ran into in Nick Valentine's office and the Takahashi scene bug, AND that one time her Robotic Assimilation quest kicked off for me BEFORE "Into the Deep," because of a level requirement but that was easily patched. 

 

Now....I did see something VERY strange in her behavior just yesterday that I chalk up to the specific circumstances involved.  She, Darlene, Heather and I were in TOTAL combat with at least 20 enemy combatants in FH and Ivy got "blown" into a pool of water.  I was too busy killing the mobs that were attacking ME and couldn't stop to see if she was OK until my VATS cycled through, and then out of the corner of my eye I saw her Stimpak herself while sitting in the pool.  Then...she got up, without her weapon equipped and started running toward the remaining enemies nearby bare handed.  I figure the game told her she was still "Swimming."  SO, I quickly pressed her "teleport to me" hot key and she arrived "Guns Up!" and we finished off the last of the RascalArt Zetans, M150's Abominations, & the Mutant Menagerie mobs that were still breathing.  It was GLORIOUS!  ?

 

SO....Thank you for making such a self-sufficient and for me so far.....UNBREAKABLE Companion.  Even with all my random dialogue patches she hasn't skipped a beat.  I DO get a huge kick whenever I kill a mob she's trying to land Hyper-Combat on FIRST, and especially whenever our hits land together.  OVERKILL is cool with me.  But I digress.  Again.  Game On!  ?

There is a terminal on the right wall of the place where you fight the synths. Check it out. ;)

Are you sitting down?  Do you have any animation replacer mods or ANY mods which "physically" add to or modify vanilla animations?  IF so, process of elimination is to deactivate or uninstall each one, ONE at a time and test the results.  Good luck!  ?

I had a thought because I really wanted to give back to Ivy for all the "love talk" she gives me, AND, since llamaRCA let me marry Heather "officially" I couldn't see myself talking to her like I used to talk to my Fire Team members......SO...I made a mod and Ivy REALLY makes it work.  Player Companion Endearment Dialogue  Now whenever she blurts out "Yes!" it makes TOTAL sense.  Darlene is doing well with it also.  Only Heather is a bit shy about talking back too much.  Gonna fix that with a patch eventually or maybe her upcoming update will fix it.  We shall see.

@Reginald_001 Sorry to bother you but I'm trying to make that patch for Heather and I was wondering how you and GE were able to get your companions to have "response" dialogue for the "Player Command Calls" like, "Hey, (Whistle), Heads Up, Look Alive, etc.."  I've been combing through Heather's dialogue because she actually DOES respond whenever she is activated VERY close, but at a distance she doesn't say a word.  Both Ivy and Darlene respond with some form of dialogue both before and after I activated my mod no matter what the distance is that I "activate" them so they have to have it conditioned some way to "catch" the activation.  OR I was thinking that this dialogue is under the correct "Group" to ensure it is processed.   The only mod I have that affects the Player Command Call tree is UCF and it just adds a condition that the NPC be in the Current Companion Faction which Heather is in.  Any ideas?

It's literally just under 'player response' tab in the NPC editor.

Better to ask LLama if she did anything special there.

Right....I found it under the Favors tab in the SHOW topic that llamaRCA said she didn't implement and I don't think she's motivated to do so at this point.  Trying to get permission to use her voice assets to make a patch for my mod but if she says no, I can always just teach players how to do it on their own.  AFTER I figure it out for myself of course.  ROFL! 

 

EDIT - llmaRCA is going to update Heather to include the SHOW topic which is used by Command Call and so no need for a patch.  WOOT!  Thanks for your help!

for some reason my ivy has just vanished

 

not back at settlement I sent her to, not back at her base, and wont respond to the teleport signal..just gone!

But if you send her to a settlement - you separate from her


and


since Ivy isn't a normal companion - you can't assign her to a settlement either... she always goes to her basement (and sulks)

Ummm......Ivy IS a normal follower and you CAN send her to any settlement that you want.  Whenever I want some time alone I send her to my Portable Heaven settlement because that's where a fallen angel should be. :classic_angel:

Hey, so I'm running the same mods as I've run for 3 years, nothing has changed. Last play through with Ivy was flawless but now When I go in to Ivy's subconscious, i fight all of the synths and the "other" Ivy doesn't show up. Is there a console command that I can use to force her scene?

After the synths, you go to a terminal on the window, and activate the AI from there.
