I ran into a problem: the game crashes after a certain time, as if when loading some kind of script. I have figured out that the game will crash to the desktop when the companionIvy_quest.esm file is enabled. That is, when companionIvy.esm is activated, the game works stably, but if I turn on the quest plugin, the game crashes. I experimented (turned on / off) with the quest plugin and even managed to complete this quest, but it still crashed in Ivy's house or when leaving the house. Buffout gives this: Main Error: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x0000A7750001 or Main Error: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x01667233F650 or Main Error: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x02C7D0EA70A0 Please help me figure out what's wrong! AFT is not installed, there are no mods for dialogues. (Sorry for my bad english)

I downloaded again and unlocked, I will reinstall and test. How to get rid of these Windows errors?

ScroodPooch Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Something is preventing your operating system from accessing RAM at certain locations. Check for the same issue in other mod zips too. It sounds like you have conflicts elsewhere in your FO4 install and/or other mods as well. They are impacting Companion Ivy. But I don't think Companion Ivy is the root cause of the issue.

I adore this mod but not so much to put up with save corruption. Anyone experienced stuff like this?

Have you checked that the broken scripts are from the Ivy mod?

I'm afraid I'm no expert. I've never seen a "Truncated Papyrus Block" message. Are any of the ESLs you have loaded running scripts? You are running a lot of ESLs. My amateur suggestion is to try removing about half of the ESLs you have installed, start a new game and see if that clears things up. If not, take out the other half and put back the first half. When you've found the half that causes a problem then reduce that block in half again and try again until you find an ESL that causes problems. Of course, if the problem is too many ESLs for your setup, the only solution is to remove some, particularly script ESLs. 1
