Although I won't be doing the questline with Carcette for a while yet. Version 2.0 will include: • Remodeled main temple, including cages that automatically keep DOM slaves from running away when inside, more living space, respawning food, and improved crafting. • Completely redone worship system using DOM, with many more ways to gain devotion • Devotion that decays daily while away from the temple, but overflows into favor which does not decay. • Redone, simplified, and more flexible rewards using a crafting system. • Blessing gained from ritual that scales with current devotion % and can be upgraded at the reward altar. • Major upgrades to the mace as rewards, not just in damage but function, including the ability to knock NPCs unconscious and a staff form for magic users. • A full suite of coldfire destruction spells, plus an atronach available as rewards. • New robes, armor, and weapons as rewards. • An immersive way to obtain DOM spells as rewards. Version 3.0 will add cultist management. Version 4.0 will add quests. 3
Jeggred Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 I'm loving the idea just does it really need to be DOM? I love PAHE and Defeat but DOM? On one hand, it lets you do a crapton of (cool) stuff, but on the other It feels like such a feature creep with menus over menus and endless dialogue options. I guess I'm more for the simplicity of the former than for the complexity of the latter.

Its event system allows for far more sophisticated scoring than I could ever achieve to implement truly immersive daedra workshop. It's what allows me to offload the player's choice of abuse when breaking a victim, not just count times raped or a sacrifice.

You can ignore all the extra stats if you want, even has mind break portions to "turn off" moods.(and I think a spell now) The wheel menus is just so clean and it let's you avoid all the nested dialog options from pahe. If you haven't tried it recently I'd say give it a go and make sure you hot key the menu buttons. Edited October 17, 2024 by Npi9

Creating daughters of cold harbor or perks if you are a vampire yourself?

Creating daughters of cold harbor or perks if you are a vampire yourself? It's a possibility somewhere down the line, but I don't have any active ideas for it at the moment. I'm currently focused on creating a "classic" cultist experience. I may add a few conveniences for vampires, like a blood potion crafter or an optional coffin for your bedroom. As permissions will remain pretty open, people are free to make vampire add-ons. The new reward system makes it incredibly easy to add your own perks into ToMB.

Just means it won't break better vampires, the way Bethesda made vampires functions makes moding them annoying and compatibility between mods that touch them a nightmare.
Burensc Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 I am wondering if this is just for dominant players or player victim of MB features? What does the mod do if your not intending to serve MB on this specific playthrough? Just wondering if I should put into my main basic instance for MO2... or just save it for my more special instances for Dominant villians, my Orc or Thalmor instances.
The Man in Black Posted October 19, 2024 Author Posted October 19, 2024 There won't be any support for players as victims. It's just not a play style that appeals to me. (Although someone else is free to use the temple to make their own mod like that.) There really isn't any use for the mod if you're not serving Molag Bal. All of the rewards are obtained through worship. I guess you could still use it as a player home. Or use a cheat mod to obtain the rewards.
Npi9 Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Will this have any interaction with religion mods like wintersun faiths?
The Man in Black Posted October 19, 2024 Author Posted October 19, 2024 9 hours ago, Npi9 said: Will this have any interaction with religion mods like wintersun faiths? Probably not in the first release, but I am planning to have devotion increases for ToMB trigger increases for Wintersun and Pilgrim (once I spend some time figuring out how those mods work). That said, this is meant to be more of a replacement for other religion mods with respect to Molag Bal specifically.
The Man in Black Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 UPDATES: The new main temple is now (mostly) navmeshed. The main thing left to to is get the lighting how I want it. It still needs more cluttering, but I'll probably release 2.0 before that's done. I think I've figured out why the powers to transform the mace/staff haven't been working (although I still need to figure out why rituals aren't recharging it). I'm still working on balancing the point values and reward prices. It's getting closer and closer, but not quite there yet. I'm still working on getting the blessing functional, as it's a key part of the mod. When complete, it will provide buffs that scale according to your current devotion to Molag Bal, and those buffs are upgradable through perks obtained as rewards. The devotion decay is working properly now, and I'm getting closer to the rest. 3
Coom Nation Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Hello, any news on the release date of new version?

It's getting steadily closer. I just got a new computer, so I need to transfer stuff over and set up. Once that's done, it should significantly speed up the CK work still remaining. I'm aiming for a late January release right now, but it depends on how long it takes to get these last few systems (blessing, mace transformation spells, and the custom perks that affect them) running. I didn't expect this, but if the mod has a small number of errors, it's worth waiting :3
The Man in Black Posted January 4, 2025 Author Posted January 4, 2025 Update: Don't worry, I'm still working on the mod. Still getting stuff properly set up for playtesting on my new computer, plus I need to change a few things around to account for some major DOM updates. 9
brussh Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 HiI am not sure if you are still active, Just wanna show some love for the Temple, I got it as ...another player home ...sigh! Been planning a Badborn playthrough and am peeking under the bonnet of this great bit of kit, fits in nice, with PAh et all, EZPG, BV MNC etc and some genius modified save files where one of my alter ego's is Wolf queen Daywalker hybrid Potema switching characters via Proteus. , stumbling through and seeing what works for me. Reading and retaining information is a young mans game. Gotta say its pretty cool, but 75 times?? to break a bride. I know I can teleport out but Not sure how to get back in again when I get exceed my attention span and leave them in the capable hands of Cultist/followers and a few critters. Guess I could TCL through the barrier. I know Ungodlytomato has done an addon, gratitude to the both of you. Thanks again
FabuMabu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Heyo, do you still plan on allowing support for using male NPCs as brides by default? I remember it being mentioned early in this mod's discussion pages, but wanna see if that is still on the table. Regardless, the mod is sounding great. Can't wait for 2.0 to release~

Can't wait for 2.0 to release~ The new system has been redesigned from the ground up using DOM for everything mental-related. There's no more gender restrictions, since the only requirement to get ToMB's import dialogue to appear when talking to an NPC is that they are a DOM slave. In fact, when I eventually implement the questline, I'm planning to include a specific male target—Erikur—who you will break by forcing him to fuck his sister before installing him as a puppet High King after Elisif… disappears. (Although this is still a long way off. I'm still trying to crack some coding issues with the Mace for the initial 2.0 release.) 1

That's one of the reasons I've rebuilt the whole system from the ground up for the new version. (Very close to release…) 5

That's likely because I originally named the cell using an underscore, which triggered a vanilla bug. The new one fixes that. 2
