I hope that the OsmelMC Mod Tweaks users will resolve the conflict.
I can't keep releasing Unlimited Animations lists with conflicts resolved as a sub-mod for a mod that is still being actively updated.

I cannot, absolutely cannot get this Sexlab Tools Mod (Patched) to see FunnyBizness' SLAL animation pack. FB's pack is installed in SLAS, registered, etc. But it absolutely will not show in the Creation section when I try to build an animation.

 

Anyone know why, please?

hello everyone, I know it's been awhile so here I go.

 

I just upgraded to an Alienware PC desktop to play Skyrim without the lag, and did a complete Reinstall of the game and mods. So far, no issues with my conversion of SL Tools. Not even with UI Extensions enabled.

 

So my conclusion is that it must be a conflict with a mod/mods in your individual modlist. 

and PS I'm playing on version 1.5.97. I used the downgrade patcher to revert to this update.

Is there any way to use it with the lastest AE version?
Downgrading is not optimal because always more mods requires the latest patch.

Probably, It's just that I won't be doing it for now, maybe if I ever upgrade to AE.

wait what mods are you downloading that doesnt have old files for SE? i'm pretty sure all if not most AE mod have an SE version 1.5.97 because they technically still SSE, so it is not hard to convert unlike LE.

Honestly I've 700+ mods, cant remember exactly which ones but I do remember that I had to upgrade for some of them.

MO2 is seeing "Patched SE SL TOOLS Updated" as a form 43, I don't really feel like downloading the kit to convert it and not sure why I even should. I'd think that it should already be SE (form 44) compatible if it's listed as SE and not LE?

 

I've tried removing and redownloading a few times just to be certain.

why though? you dont even need steam to download it, and it took like 10 sec for the whole process of convert form 43 to 44. Just because an esp are form 43 doesnt mean it wont work with SE, it will work, but it will also cause issues for you saves in the long run.

This is how the file setup should look like. Uilib is a common library for ui elements and are shipped in several mods (they are unmodified). With these you will get the pop-up menus and notifications when using the tools ingame. There are no difference in what mod has latest overridden these files (like in my case SexLab Defeat SE) since they should be identical.

 

The MCM are defined in the script files that are not in the .bsa. The MCM will be shown even without the translation files, but will look confusing ingame. And why not ship the translations when they already are part of the original mod?

 

I have attached my version of the port, you can use it for comparison. Haven't done anything to the other files or the .esp.

Again the ctd or SL Tools not working appears to be a personal issue with your mod list/Load order. (Not sure what's causing it in other words)

Wow, I just cannot get this to work! I'm running Skyrim v1.6.640 + Vortex.

The esp is getting loaded after SkyUI and after SexLab, but still won't register in MCM no matter how long I wait, save/load, restart the game etc.

If I look under the plugin section in Vortex, it shows a warning saying "This plugin was created for the original version of Skyrim and may be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition".

I'm using the most recent file downloaded from the mod page "Patched SE SL TOOLS Updated.zip".

I also tried the file one of the users here uploaded "SexLab Tools SE Working 21 APR 21.rar", and that one didn't work either.

 

Anyone have an idea what I can do?

 

EDIT - FINALLY GOT IT WORKING!!!

After a lot of messing around, this is what worked for me:

  • Using FallrimTools - Script cleaner I cleaned up my last manual save (before doing this nothing I tried would work!!)
  • I then proceeded to install SexLab Tools SE Working (not the PATCHED version!)
  • Made sure that UIExtensions was installed (required by above version).
  • Loaded the last save, waited a bit, saved again, reloaded, waited a bit more and BINGO! "SexLab Tools was installed" message top left!
  • Works perfectly now as intended!

 

I initially tried getting Sexlab tools for SE (Patched) 3.0.0 to work, but it would only go as far as registering the MCM menu for the mod, which was otherwise non-functional (none of the options would do anything).

Using FallrimTools to clean up my save after these attempts would always produce a bunch of errors about orphaned script elements and such. So it definitely wasn't installing properly.

As I said only the version that Karther105 posted (linked above) worked for me.

 

Hopefully this helps some of you out, if so let me know! : ) 

 

UPDATE: The above Fix is outdated and worked inconsistently, here's how to fix it for good...

1. Download and install UIExtensions SE Update posted here (remove any other version of UIExtensions before installing).

2. Download and install Sexlab tools for SE (Patched) 3.0.0*

3. Enjoy!

* Clarification: In my original post I said not to use the patched version. That no longer applies. That is the correct version to use when combined with the updated UIExtensions.

Try use this command setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1 . It will force the game to reload all mcm entries, the vortex report is just because the mod hasnt been upgrade to form 44, you can do it your self easily, only took 10sec or so
