Q.U.I.R.K.S is an experimental drug that another contact under your employer gives you upon leaving the ship and entering the island. The way it works in theory is it deploys nanites into your bloodstream that edit your DNA, body, or mind to make you better able to handle the challenges you face. How it decides to change you may not be in the way you wanted or expected. There's no way this could go wrong right?

 

So no quirks are in the mod yet but they will be gained either through prolonged exposure to something or possibly from one off events. So maybe after 100 blowjobs the drug realizes that its better for you to use your body to solve problems rather than getting in a conflict and getting hurt, and so gives you the Cumslut quirk. The implication being that you will now choose to resolve things with your mouth rather than your fist going forward. Or after working so many shifts as a cow it decides to modify you by giving you the Lactation quirk so that your body can do the job easier. Or the Roleplayer quirk would be picked up after being hypnotized so many times or playing too many VR games. Your character will sometimes be confused and be easily persuaded to be something else.

 

A couple quirks I had in mind are Bimbo, Lactation, Cumslut, Roleplayer, Exhibitionist.

 

I'm thinking having a quirk will do a three things. One there will be a perk associated with it. So say you have the exhibitionist quirk you will have a small debuff when wearing clothes and buff when not. Two there would be an approach event associated with it. So if you've got the Roleplayer quirk then maybe an event where someone walks up to you and calls you a dumb slutty bitch, which triggers your roleplayer quirk and you take on the personality traits based on what the person describes you as. So since he called you a dumb slutty bitch you get on all four's and act like a dumb slut. Third there will be a compulsion associated with it. So if you have the cumslut quirk once every 8 hours or once every 24 hours when you talk to a guy instead of normal dialogue you would instead get dialogue begging them to let you swallow a load from them. In addition to this maybe there would be opportunities for special dialogue in event/stories if you have the quirk.

hi i just wanna say i love this mod and the new update, but i have some questions and some potential bugs to report

 

spire (SPOILER ALERT)

- there is an event with the dancer manager but i can't seem to activate it, is this a WIP?

- after getting caught by dominique my keycard was taken away and theres no way for me to get it back, is this by design? and if so may i suggest the ability to somehow get it back but if we were caught again then we would be enslaved

- what does the blue pill do exactly?

- i noticed after exiting the spire you can report to the don on whether you fail or succeed, will you implement a punishment system if the PC fails?

 

bath house

- after coming back in to the bath house i find that i can't talk to sandy anymore after completing the police chief mission

 

Q.U.E.R.K.S

- if i already arrived on the island how do i obtain the drug?

 

general

- i noticed some NPC such as Nerva would have her torso and legs missing (only floating hands and head)

 

stealing from the safe

- during the punishment animation, my PC goes back and forth in place and doesn't initiate

The scene should start as soon as you enter the dressing room. It will fade to black and the one dancers will be laying on the couch.

The blue pill boosts your stats a bit.

The Capone quest has more to be added, sooo stay tuned!

Querks is just a place holder...aka work in progress

I noticed the missing body parts once too. No clue why as the NPC was only wearing a collar.

Switching between 3rd & 1st person sometimes breaks the 2 step dance.

I've experienced that as well... assumed it had to do with aspect ratio (I play on 16:9 widescreen instead of 4:3).

Just found something interesting in the Hypno Lounge. When talking to Malakai in the back room, if you stand on his right, by the end table, the pathing can break badly. If you stand on his left, the chair side, it works perfectly. Which makes no sense. Forking Bugthesda! LOL

 

Sooo... till I can get it sorted, walk past him then talk to him.

For the dancer event there's a room to the left of stage that upon entering should start a scene automatically. Dominique is supposed to take your key when she catches you in the room. If the slaver's were set up in the mod atm then getting caught would lead to the player being enslaved, but that is not the case so she just takes your key and kicks you out. The items you get in your chest such as the blue pills will eventually have events associated with them, however they haven't  been implemented yet. If you fail to secure enough funding at the party then yes there will be punishment from the Don. 

 

For the bathhouse sounds like a bug, I'll get that fixed.

 

For quirks you can still start it by going to the docks where you arrived from the ship and there's a man there waiting for you. If you walk around where you get off the ship the scene will trigger.

 

For the safe as Izzy said scroll into first person to fix the jittering.

Either a mod conflict or you are missing some required dependencies. You can type in the console 'sqv bctintro' to check if the quest is even loading in your game.

ah i see, thanks for the clarifications

 

btw for the dancer part, i have entered the room and got the manager to start talking but after he questions why i am at the dressing room, the dialogues disappear and there's no way to go proceed

I tested it without issue, but you might be on the wrong quest stage then. Even so, you should still be able to get the scene to start. You are probably out ranging the force greet. Try standing closer to him during his conversation with the girl on the couch so when he turns to you he's able to greet you properly.

I reuploaded version 0..72 with a few minor adjustments. Fixed issues with the bathhouse chief induction final scene. Fixed an issue with shake shack where after finishing a shift you couldn't remove your outfit and get payed. Broke the Sasha story into three messages and the start of Westwood Manor/maid chapter 2 into two messages so they fit on screen.

I'm wanting to add this to my current playthrough, but I also have diamond city expanded, and I'm reading that placing this mod after DCE will cause flickering in the marketplace.

 

On the other hand, if I place Barbarous Continent before DCE, then the poster won't show up and I can't initiate the quest?

 

Just wondering if there are any recommendations on how to handle this, particularly from players with both DCE + BC.

The poster just directs you to a contact in the dugout inn. You can skip clicking on the poster and just go straight to the contact to start the quest.

If that doesn't work, it doesn't for me. You can run the console command

Hi,

 

unfortunately undressing from shake shack dress still do not trigger shift end an Shakira approaching with payment   there is even missing sound of closing locker so maybe it it is pointing to wrong script - I noticed that there is changed scene from 0.72 and is pointing to .psc scene no .pex scene exist

You put a lot of afford building Shakira quests so it would be pity not able to continue after one shift

Spire works fine for me except package transferring player to  Dominique but I used console commands advised by you to manually position to Dominique an it works fine

Quest 2 at Manor {Maid} woks ok - nice continuation

University works fine - looking forward for exam's and level 2

Pity that Atomic game show still not working - looks funny Big Brother

All mod very good with a lot of potential - Great work

One thing that I would like to see from the university quests is some more hypno sessions for the students.  Maybe as a detention sort of thing or just something that they have to do before exams to re-enforce their programming.  Also, it would be really neat if you could have one of the female teachers break free from their programming and have to be re-hypnotized.  You could choose to ignore it, or if you choose to spy on the session, you get hypnotized as well and wind up joining in on the fun.

Testing the shake shack stuff it seems to be working fine on a new save. I remade the Shake Shack quest in version 0.72 and It seems upgrading from 0.71 to 0.72 causes some issues. The properties on the scripts don't want to point to the new quest objects in old saves. If you don't care about losing your progress in the mod I believe you can fix it without starting a new game by going somewhere no assets from the mod are loaded and save and exit -> disable the mod and save again - > load your save and wait a minute and save -> Enable mod again.

Thank you for quick replay  - i will uninstall ver. 0.71 and 0.72  make clean save and install only 0.72  - try it tonight
