Welp... Looks like I'm gonna have to add an MCM. You can't control beggar whore mode while in cuffs, because favorites are disabled. Anybody know a good tutorial? I will still leave the OG menu in there as it's still much faster, but I'll add the option to add and remove it from the MCM.

Besides on or off or the makeup mirror would you need to control?  I suppose some of the utility options that I haven't needed... and if you get cuffed, you are stuck at being a beggar for the time being?  As that's a bad thing. :)

It's really just on or off. And yes anybody can do that by typing one line in the console... Sigh... I dunno. I may just have to figure out how to assign a keyboard shortcut with the existing menu. Looking at the MCM demo is giving me heartburn

Assign one?  I do anyway when first start up.  As well as the mirror.   Would just be easier if everyone does same.  Lots of relief for you.  

 

And yes it would be the standard keys like one assigns weapons.  So stimpak is 0. Mirror is - and be on/off is =   gasmask is 1, ghoul mask is 2, and regular glasses is 3. 

 

Haha... maybe one should setup with FO4 keys mod.

Real handcuffs blocks the favorites menu Unless you are talking about something else. I play with a controller so I haven't thought too hard about the way the keyboard shortcuts work. I'll look into this because yeah the less BS I have to do the more actual modding I'll get done.

Gonna be honest. I'm gonna take the laziest route possible which is not to make an MCM but to tell people to either use the console command or Real Handcuff's debug setting to temporarily disable the cuffs. (or the shortcuts mod as MCJ said, if that works.) :) I want the mod to be user friendly but... For one I like the way my menu works, and for two I can do a vanilla papyrus menu in my sleep, but looking at that MCM stuff is gibbberish to me and the last thing I need right now is to lose momentum.

Personally, I will accept the challenge: I will have hardsip activated until a pimp removes the handcuffs. It will be a kind of Harcore Hardship. If I don't have yet a pimp and I don't have settlements... then I guess I'll do role-play and take them off vía RealHancuffs MCM when I talk to a Diamond City officer.

The problem is that when you escape I have to have it exit BW mode to get the raiders to aggro on you :) You'll need to turn it back on when safe but that won't be easily possible with cuffs on... But as I said It's as simple as typing Set _T_BeggarWhoreMode to 1 Or going into the MCM and temporarily hitting the debug killswitch On RH.  I don't think the FO4 Hotkeys mod will work BTW as Kharos has all the vanilla hotkeys disabled. (I didn't even know there WERE vanilla hotkeys since I play Betheda games with a controller)

 

In less irritating news I've discovered that a number of non bound AAF animations are convincingly overridden by the Arms override that Real Handcuffs uses. What that means is things like bound kissing, and bound cunnilingus which I will be taking full advantage of! 

 

I mean Cunnilingus isn't perfect because it clips her butt... but I'm willing to call it good enough until somebody steps up and starts making more FF animations.

the FO4 hotkeys mod can assign any sequence of console commands to any combination of keys. Like ctrl-shift-H = setvalue ...

 

no idea about controllers

With most (all?) gaming keyboards you can do the same with a macro.

 

For example i set one for screenshooting (if i want a screenshoot during normal gameplay and not one using AAF poses), I press the macro key and it disable hud (via IU hotkey) and enter TFC 1 mode in the console. Press again and it resume normal game (lucky tfc 1 works on and off with the same command)

 

People with this kind of keyboards dont even need another mod to quickly introduce a console command

Oh I'm well aware of that. before there were ESP based follower mods for Fallout 4 I had a bat, to assign all the factions and such that I had assigned to my Logitech G series keyboard. Just as the mod authour I feel the need to make things generally idiot proof that's why I added so many convenience functions to the Utility menu. That said I think that in this case the facts that RH itself comes with it's own menu based way to suspend the mod so that you can use the menu then turn it back on, plus it can be done with one simple console command makes it unnecessary for me to go to the substantial effort to learn how to make an MCM just for that. ESPECIALLY since you have to opt into resisting a rape in the middle in the first place to even be put in cuffs.

So I was obviously very busy yesterday (and every day) But I did look at that mod... but I was confused how to assign hotkeys. I used the aid item and assigned hardship to slot 1 but couldn't find any key that was assigned to. Do I need to assign the actual keys in the ini or something?

yes, there is a hotkeys.ini file somewhere (can’t remember off-hand in which FO4 subfolder it places it upon installation) and you define the hotkeys and their associated commands there

 

problem with what you seem to be trying is that FO4hotkey runs _console commands_ so not sure it would work for equipping a favorite item. You were talking about running a setvalue command, which is a console command and FO4H can do it, not about equipping an item which I’m not sure FO4H can handle (unless you tell it your hotkey should “equipitem formid”, but then you would hardcode it for your particular mod order)

Yes setting the value is good enough, but I'm pretty sure the modpage said you can equip items with it too... but maybe I misread... as I said I was quite busy and just took a quick look.

100% agree. Doesn't make sense to have 2 mods with the same toggle option.

Besides that... it makes for an even better challenge. :)

I was in Vault 59, almost to the end and got nailed with hinged cuffs facing away. That was a fun trekking all the way back out & then to Somerville.

maybe it actually does. No idea. It’s not what I’ve used it for, so maybe it has features I’m unaware of

So I had this insane idea earlier today. I just tried it and it worked. You can make new animations by combining parts of other animations with an XML. This analingus animation is made from combining one actor stage from both Leito Blowjob 1, and Leito Standing Doggy 1. It only works because of the addition of the Real Handcuffs which prevents piper from doing the blowjob hand stuff. It looks good enough IMO in motion. Simple but good... The sounds even work for it. So anyway I'm gonna be adding this to the Raider rapes. (And eventually isabel... but not in this update)

It's a new one on me... I can't imagine anything in Hardship could do that much less would. I don't call those Idles/Flavors anywhere. :(
