It can be unflagged as long as you don't re-open it in CK. While I agree Xedit is way faster for a lot of things it's not practical for editing MASSIVE dialogue trees like Hardship has. 1

Are there any bad-ends outside of the raiders? Like, will dogs and super mutants entertain, too if they're around and I'm non-threatening? 2. Menacing female raiders don't seem to do anything. If it needs strap-on support I can get it but it isn't in the recommended files... 3. Is there any way to dramatically scale up the damage from being beaten? It'd be fun to have it as a mechanic beyond just getting my leg broke but staying at full HP. This is a question for my sake to mod a value that should hopefully be somewhat easy. Thanks.

You'll need a strapon for the rest... Though you might want to check the main AAF thread if you have animations showing up but no strapon equipping. But anyway the next update will have you getting hit more DURING the sex so there will be a few points of extra damage... especially if you struggle. UPDATE: Still working on it. The menues aren't final still don't feel quite right... but getting there. 6

In trying to fix a long standing bug that just made me too nervous to fix until now because it meant editing every raider greet... Essentially when I'm done it will no longer be possible to break a rape scene by spamming skip dialogue anymore. While doing this I realized that I STILL don't have the vanilla companion conditions set up right which means roughly HALF the raider greets I have written and already in the game have never been showing up! Obviously when this is fixed it will be less monotonous. Setting that up in the first place almost broke me back in the day... Especially since I personally don't give much of a shit about the Vanilla followers while playing this kind of mod. Anyway when I am done Hardship will definitely play better. Edit: I really can't help myself from making fun of scissoring. 6

It leaves gaps like this in the tree Also - is the "scenes" tab the best way to visualize dialogue trees? I don't really know what triggers the "whore decline phase" or the "beggar get phase", basically I would like those two categories to not exist / trigger anymore, but I cannot tell which dialogue options trigger them Are there supposed to be actual voiceovers? I only get subtitles, no voices

You can visualize it easier if you double clock on the top of the phase which will... open this screen. If you don't change the length of the line a lot it can probably just use the existing one. Otherwise you will need to use Silent Voice generator which you can get on Nexus. Note however that voices are gendered. I have all the NPCs use a single voice to save the number of silent files I need by like a factor of 50. So you'll need to export one pass with _T_silent voice, then change the gender to male and export it again. It's VERY complicated. I wouldn't recommend it. Anyway I'll also give you a big WARNING: If you edit the text in one of the topics that has a fragment it WILL automatically recompile on save (or even exit I think). This means you run like a 1 in 5 chance that the CK will just eat my motherfucking script and then you will have broken the mod. At this point I do NO compiling in the CK, and I avoid editing my existing fragment topics like the plague. My future mods will NOT use fragments but It's just too baked into Hardship. Be VERY careful. For simple line deletion and editing you May be better off using Fallout 4 edit even though the lines will be really hard to find. 1

Now If I was setting it up I'd have it so once they've become a follower but aren't actually following they'd be at FR 0, and 1 when following. NOPE. They are at 0 when following and -2 when not... @!*%X!! I remember being fucking wiped out by doing this way way back... That's the only way I can explain not simply doing the experimentation to discover this. Anyway now I can fix the raider greets.

The pop up text for females sex is often referring to them as males (blowjob etc) although the correct animations do play (i.e the Rufgt old animations). Any clue what i might have done? I was trying to get the "temporary fix for one patch", errr patch, to work, it didnt as it gave all males GIANT penis's which was not my goal. So i ended up doing a complete AAF reinstall as removing it broke erections entirely. Everything works ok now after reinstalling AAF and ancillaries apart from the pop ups for females in your mod which are slightly gender confused?

I'm afraid it has to be something deeper than hardship doing it though as all those scripts that make the popups do is a GetSex() Call on the NPCs leveled actor base... and then write it to an appropriate text string. Meaning the game itself is giving you the wrong answer. This is true even if it is giving you opposite sounds and such because ultimately I determine those the same way Extremely rarely I'll have like one scene give me the wrong stuff ... but as I said it's rare and I haven't been able to reproduce it with any consistency. I made some pretty funny/interesting Raider dialogue for if you have him. (Not also with Strong, Danse or Sarge, as theirs will overwrite) I'm just curious since nobody's commented. He's almost as useless as the Bad Boyfriend. 1

I like dogs, but his AI behavior is so annoying to me I can't tolerate his presence. Every time I go to pick something up or access a body to get ammunition the dog suddenly dashes in front of me just in time to be clicked on instead. If other people find it as maddening as I do then most people probably don't see any Dogmeat dialogues. 3

Just install after you greet the dog. 1

My very first play through.. he was dismissed 1/2 way through looting Red Rocket. Now he resides next to the water tower and eats Bloatflys. 1

Where'd you get the stockings on Isabel? they don't look quite like any of the ones I have. UPDATE: It sucked to blow a whole day on bug fixes but it was some very long standing stuff and a lot of stuff I didn't even know was broken. While I was at it I added several more lines of dialogue including a couple more diseases you can claim to have to dissuade raiders. It is really nice to not have to worry as much about spamming buttons now.

Flagged your mod as ESM (actually had to re-do some work because the first time I have also renamed it *.esm and of course the whole mod got reset on load considering it a different plugin... oh well, me stupid), removed some dialogue options, changed the text in others, made some dead-end dialogue options to trigger the customer rape instead... all good and working properly, the only thing amiss is that the shorter texts still have the original lip sync and take the original time to complete (basically empty lip moving). I haven't messed with the lipsync, looks too complicated Basically the PC turns up raped and crippled more or less on any begging or boyfriend dialogue, had to remove the aggressive tag on rapes because it was becoming repetitive, there are only 6 or so aggressive animations in total. Definitely loving this!

Definitely loving this! Just a quick note you may want to wait till the next release to change too much raider dialogue as I added a few lines, and altered the conditions on quite a few. It's mostly Player lines changed after the greets though I didn't edit any responses. and I dunno if your changes will clash, In addition to the changes I mentioned in the last post I essentially doubled the number of lines about companions, mercs and pimps. (Got pretty monotonous when I was rolling with Sarge) Hell, one of the Sarge/Danse/Strong threats was flagged for Isabel before

I don’t think I’ve changed much about raiders, the begging topic and the bad daddy are where I made most of the changes a change log of topics (meaning which topics were changed In a specific update) would be useful when you release the new version, but of course only if it’s not difficult for you
