But SLU+ states that it requires the 1.65 AE version of Sexlab.
I just wanted to ask if anybody runs SLU+ 2024 update with 1.66B AE... 🙂

I think that it is compatible out of the box with 1.66b, at least at a script level. It also has implicit patches for SLSO and Ponzi's SLOE to make them both compatible with 1.66b. Maybe there is more implicit support for other mods.

I found this out when I tried to create SLU+ patches for 1.66b when using SLSO and SLOE. The scripts in the 20240407 version already had everything that they needed. I have not looked at every SLU+ script that replaces a core SL script, but I have looked at some. Either the script does not change between 1.65 and 1.66b and so the SLU+ replacement is fine, or the SLU+ replacement already carries through the 1.66b updates even when overwriting 1.65.

I am still at the "incrementally test stuff" stage as I build out a new mod list. It passes my basic functionality tests but I have not tried every feature, so I am not 100% sure.

@OsmelMC I assume that you carried forward the newer SexLab core code on purpose, and if you did, maybe you could update the main page to say that it works on 1.66b too.

I think SLAC should have no issues with anything in that regard.

I gave it a chance, but base Sexlab just does not cut it :(

The changelog says no problem:

Quote

*** Update of the "SexLab Utility Plus v20240407". Now:

Updated it with the SexLab Framework v1.66b changes. Means that is compatible with all the AE versions of SexLab but will show the version number 1.66b even if you install another version.

Include an alternative expression transition mode with the "Expression Transit Speed" option. Is a work in progress and not even required because the same can be done adjusting the MFG options on the "mfgfix.ini" file of the "MFG Fix" or "MFG Fix NG".

Enhance the expression system and fix the Ahegao issues on the player actor.

Enhance the Tags cache performance.

Fix the Anal and Vaginal detection of the animations for transgender actors.

Fix some issues with High Heels.

Fix some camera issues.

Fix some stripping issues.

Fix some furniture issues.

Fix some other small issues and bugs reported.

No, patch version specific, hint in the name. Replacement script will break any mod version that is different from patch base/target version.

I found a strange SLU+ problem. When using it, Outfit Manager and AH Hotkeys are unable to respond to hotkey presses. I am using SexLab 1.66b (for GoG 1179) and do not know if this is an SLU+ problem only with 1.66b, or also with 1.65.

I was testing OsmelMC's "Outfit Manager" from Nexus and could not get hotkey functionality to work. I thought it was a bug in that mod and tried to use AH Hotkeys instead, but found that it did not work either. After doing the "disable all mods and re-enable them until it stops working again" method of bugfinding, I found that SLU+ was the culprit. It definitely wouldn't have been on my "top 10 guesses list" for where the bug was going to be, but I've nailed it down to exactly that. Hotkeys work if SLU+ isn't enabled, and stop working when it is.

I do not think that the problem is in the ESP. I have moved it around in load order and even disabled it, but the problem exists as long as the SLU+ resources are loaded. I looked at the scripts that deal with SexLab hotkeys, but I don't see anything obvious, and don't even see significant hotkey changes from the original SexLab. SLU+ doesn't overwrite files from Outfit Manager or AH Hotkeys, and I don't see anything else that looks like a file conflict.

If anyone has other ideas of where to look, I would love to hear them. Otherwise I think I will need to take SLU+ out of my load order this time. Now that I know that this problem is here, I think that I might have been blaming other mods for badly-working hotkey functionality, when it might have been this mod breaking it instead.

I don't use AHH.

I've been using OM and SLU+ without known issues for quite a long time.

On a side note - no idea if that matters - I'm on older release of OM (240409 or even 231011, which I've forked and adjusted to my needs, also in hotkeys area...)*.

_______

*) regardless forking, those two had no problems coexisting even in pristine state

I have had a lot of trouble getting OM to work at all. So maybe the problem is only SLU+ and AH Hotkeys and I got OM working (or not working) by coincidence when testing? Or it might just be the newer version like you say.

I was trying to test the face item feature, but in SL MCM when i click in that option to enable it, it doesn't enable. Thanks.

This. How do you enable the use of face items in SL MCM? Clicking the "Use face items" button does nothing.

Edit: Also the Ahegao expressions are automatically turned on I need to disable them when I start a new game or else my character will have a wide open mouth with no tongue because you can't enable the "Use face item" button.

Nevermind, my SLUtility+ ESP was turned off. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️🤦

Does anyone know if SLSO's excitement levels (the levels that control the widget meters) can be accessed by another mod?
I am the author of Bloodline - A Fertility Mode Companion Mod and would like to incorporate the excitement levels into some of  Bloodline's features.
If there is a way, could you give me a pointer as to how to:
1. Read the levels

2. Input adjustments to the levels

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The SLSO Widget problem is just that SLSO don't checking for some SexLab events like the "ActorsRelocated", "ActorChangeStart" and "ActorChangeEnd"

This Fix should work with and without my SLU+, since there are few other Mods in the same situation with the SLSO.

By the way i hope some Mod author paid attention to this because almost all the mods that are listening for the SexLab "AnimationStart" and "AnimationEnd" should also check for the SexLab events "ActorsRelocated", "ActorChangeStart" and "ActorChangeEnd" and almost notone do it.

SexLab Separate Orgasm Fix (20230925).7z 4.07 kB · 175 downloads

Was this integrated into 2024/04/07?  Still getting this issue

The Mods that are on my compatibility list ( like the SLSO) don't need a patch because they changes to the SexLab scripts are already included on my default scripts. Except for the Cum Overlays Extended that I made the mistake of use a old version as reference and you will need the Patch included on it's last version setup.

You just have to make sure that nothing overwrite the SLU+ files. And of course use the last AE or SE version of those Mods that usually are the most updated and are the ones I use as reference for the compatibility.

So should cum overlays extended 1.0.7 be overwritten by SLU+ 2024/04/07 and not the other way around?

SexLab Aroused Creatures SE/LE v04.06 (Tweak)

I am having a problem with this tweak. First, I install the same v4.06 of Aroused Creatures SE through Vortex and then install this tweak and choose the LE version with Original Preset. But when I run FNIS, it gives me the warning that Aroused Creatures is not compatible with Skyrim in its logs. And when I start the game, all human character models get the T-Pose syndrome. In the Sexlab Framework Rebuild/Clean settings, I also see that after installing this mod+tweak, the Fores Idle animation has a question mark in front of it rather than OK.
Please reply 🙏 or otherwise I will have to go with the SexLab Aroused Creatures LE

Wrong version of the mod.  You need to match a mod with BSA, animations, or SKSE dll files with your Skyrim version.  SkyrimSE\AE can't process SkyrimLE animations or BSA, different format.

Try again with the SE version of every requirement.

The SL Aroused Creatures tweak is quite old (4.06) (2021). Is it still relevant relevant for 4.16 (2025)?

No, it is build for 4.06, if you use it with another version you will encounter problems.
