Yay, the prophet has led us to the promised land! Thank you Lithia.

Most of the positive traits added by the mod seems to promote xenophilie ethics for the species that has the trait. Can it instead affect other species? I thought the point of having physically attractive traits is so that others may love us, not us loving them :P

Constantly crashes on start... F for my luck.

(Only using this mod and lastest Stellaris Update)

It did the same on me.

Rolling back to Stellaris version 2.2.6 solved that.

Don't really know why because the changelog of 2.2.7 does not mention anything that causes a conflict though.

I think there should be a list of compatible game versions for reference since every patch breaks something nowadays, ofc it would be better if people started testing on their own and warning which versions work, i would also be willing to help translate it to portuguese if there is no one working on it yet.

Working for me on 2.2.7.

Thank you for doing this mod by the way, 10/10. I have already remade most of my races and there are some true gems here.

Life Seeded; Inward Perfectionists. Incubator Breasts; Drooling Vajinas; Breeder Hips; Nudist; Seasonal Breeders; Sexually Repressed; Small Penis.

AKA "They are afraid that the Xeno scum will come and take away their crazy hot women."

Rogue Servitors. Biotrophies are: Traditional; Neuron Saliva; Aphrodisiac Milk; Sex Crazed; Watery Milk; Small Breasts; Inter compatible womb.

AKA "Robots made to take care of their sex crazed and hedonistic masters"

Phanatic Xenophile; Spiratulist. Syncratic Evolution with one species being solely female breeding stock and the other solely male studs.
AKA "The cult of sex."

I am realy enjoying this.

I do have some questions about your design philosophy and wanted to know if you are looking for creative feedback/game balance feedback.

Nothing shows up for me, I'm pretty new to mods in general, and have tried this before and it didn't work, so I am sure I am doing something wrong; if anyone can help it would be appreciated. This is what my mod folder looks like. All the other mods shown are from steam workshop, and are not "enabled" (I guess would be the term) from the mod menu on the stellaris launcher.

I have a question/suggestion for the all female/male trait: As of now it costs you 0 points to pick it and gives you -40% pop grow. Will I understand the idea behind this wouldn't it be better to change the trait to -100% will giving you something like +6 to 8 points for other traits? Right now Í see no reason (beside roleplay) to pick this one. Even further it doesn't seem to make sense that an only female/male species would "just" have -40% pop growth. It should be impossible for them to grow without having other aliens for reproduction or finding gengineering/cloning solution, which could be an technology-chain that starts in early game to reduce the penalty to something like -50% in the long shot.

I hope I didn't miss something which makes my ideas/observations obsolate as I only gave the traits a short look.

Awesome work, thanks, you made Stellaris great again.

What I really enjoy is your great way of writing. Most modders tend to write descriptions without giving it much thought, but you wrote it very high quality. For example there was not a single spelling error I could find. Thanks!

But still I have to mention one thing: "Ivory" and "Crystal Ivory" do the same (Pop Amenities Usage -10%), but "Crystal Ivory" is one point more expensive (4 compared to 3).

The descriptions are my doing, and Lith's a great code jockey.
I've never been the biggest fan of these mods just being utterly without tact and basically saying "magic op boons because porn". So my main aims when writing things has been to try to keep it sensible within the context of the universe, and maybe even be something you'd play when you're not just trying to crank one out.
Crystal ivory will have more utility in the future. Primarily by way of adding rare crystal generation to dairy type facilities.

Lith says the game doesn't seem to acknowledge "other species" effects on traits since megacorp. IE, repugnant and decadent in the base game were totally changed by the dlc.
There were originally a lot of them that would affect other pops happiness, and would make either their owners or their slaves more or less happy in that dynamic.

When I was play testing, the game spawned a purifier empire with big dicks and intercompatible wombs. Both of which create xenophile attraction.
There's also an effect especially for exterminators dumb enough to not mod out their artificial wombs or synth seeder that will skyrocket their deviancy. I tell ya, the problem with a sexbot rebellion is that it's hard to rewrite that core programming.

The point behind the 40% had to do with the game having a 3% growth minimum now, and other changes making the original mod's -1000% unless an intercompatible was present and unfeasible method.
So this penalizes it, but doesn't force you into a specific gameplay style. Just assume they have some type of strange alien reproduction method or something. Maybe they bud, and genitals are a functional but useless genetic leftover. Maybe they reproduce like anglerfish and the other gender is so inconsequential they are essentially non-people.
In the future though, there will be Harem Maker and Lesbocracy empires civics where the gameplay revolves around forcibly converting other races to all female.

That's because they will have different effects when pops work jobs. Crystal Ivory in this case giving a very small amount of rare crystals...so it costs a bit more to have.

Anyway, i see there's not much potraits at this moment. Will those lacking (from sexy xenos) be included later ? I suppose there's no workaround for them now as we need patches.

My mod is "technically" compatible with any portrait mods, they just need a patch to change pop gender too. I'll actually spend some time tonight to make a few patches for the more popular portrait mods. But just to be clear SSX is independent and since Toronam is the only other active modder right now, I'll work with him as much as possible when it comes to compatibility.

Lithia<3: What changes did you make to the ascension perk file? I'm asking because I'm using the Space Industry and Habitat Overhaul mod which makes changes to allow habitats to be built earlier. So I was wondering what actual changes you'd made to the file?

I disabled the xeno compatibility ascension perk. You can make it compatible by just deleting my file and changing it to this: "potential = { always = no }" under "ap_xeno_compatibility" in those mods. Don't just comment it out though, it breaks ship upgrades for some reason if you do.

You can thank paradox for removing the "other species happiness" modifier for that one lol

I haven't been paying attention since I don't actually play the game itself...yet, so I didn't realize there was a patch. I'll do some testing later to see what's causing it.

I personally won't do any translations...even though I'm french, I like to play in english. Feel free to send me any translations you might want to make though and I'll add them.

After playing for something like 30 years. I did not encounter anything that would throw me out of game or doesn't work. What does bugging me is how you handle species modifer for the different species by xeno attributes. You create a subrace for every different combination of xenosex, this will lead to some serious clogging in the species tab (The AI rolled one randomly and now nothing is safe for them)

@Lithia<3

Aw, that sucks that PDX did that.

Been playing with the mod for few hours now, currently trying to make EoS play nice with only male/female traits. Do I make adjustment in EoS portrait folder or do I make a "modified" txt file and copy-paste to LV folder?

Edit: nevermind, I just realized it's not something I can do by simply capy-pasting few lines of code. That said, can I make a request for EoS comparability patch somewhere down the road?

PM or post your error log and I'll try to see what's causing it.

Delete this folder (...Lustful Void\common\species_archetypes). I'll add it to the incompatability list so people know.

Did a fresh reinstall, works perfectly fine now.

Thank you for the quick reply. This mod seems pretty awesome so far.

Sure, for me this is just a framework in the end and will change a lot as I keep working on it. I just made it a playable framework lol...so feel free to give any feedback.

Sorry I don't quite understand the current status of this mod. Have you already merged features of those old mods including buildings, techs, events and etc. into this mod, or you just set up your own framework for now and will do the integrations in the future?

The file page says exactly what is included and what is planned.

hey, i might had found a bug in the framework, don't know if it's happening to everyone else, apparently a notification keeps appearing, stating that your outpost had been reclaimed, i don't know why, maybe because i somehow started in a system without an outpost, just something i found out, looking forward to see what you build of this.

You need to provide a bit more info.
Do you have other mods on, does it stop without other mods on, can you manually rebuild that outpost, and can you replicate this bug?

Great I just wanted to see if you were still looking to develop what is in game already, and it appears you are. I just want to say right off the bat that I absolutely adore what you are doing here, and most of my feedback is simply to see how you in tended this to work and what you want in the long run.

In no particular order:

1) Are you aiming for "Stalaris with porn" or "Porn with Stalaris"? I ask because a lot of the traits added are extremely powerful and I see myself taking vary few original traits with these additions. Due to the high cost of the traits you are also more often then not steered into very sexualised races with little going on otherwise. Cost 3 and 4 were extremely rare in the base game but now are common. The larger penalties and 2 extra choices and point at character creation do help with this but I am wondering if you are interested in looking at the overall cost/benefit ration of the traits.

2) All Males; All Females; Brood Parasite. I understand the logic you have position on why they work with the -40% penalty, and there is a side benefit due to the mechanics of being able to guarantee male/female bias and being able to build an extremely stacked race towards that. Would this make more sense as a "negative" trait that gave you more points to work with? Related to the cost of traits mention in 1) I find myself wanting more of these sexual traits without infringing on other traits to flush out the role play of the species; we have some rather potent negatives such as sex crazed and seasonal breeder, but increasing the give and take could help game balance in my view.

3) Intercompatable Womb/Sperm. This is kind of the point of the mod so its cost 2 kind of limits its utility. What would happen if this lost most of its bonuses but became a 0 cost ability? There would be a tangential cost of it still taking up one of your 7 trait slots but it would not directly cost you points.

4) There are a few other traits that are strictly better than another. Multiple Breasts > Large Breasts as MB gives an additional -5% housing usage and +5% Xeno Attraction. Simalarly Taking Seasonal Breeders + Exhibitionist results in a net gain of Trait point and +15% happiness +20% Xeno Ethics Attraction. Aphrodisiac Milk > High Volume Lactation in a net gain of +10 happiness. Small Breasts is a "penalty" with -5% amenities usage. None of these are strictly bad if that was the intent, but I just want to get your thoughts on the matter.

5) Immigration pull might be a good stat to work into your traits. I like the idea that your pops are so ridiculously sexy that they attracts other races to come and immigrate to have sex with them, and it could make for some interesting game play mechanics where you actively try to steal pops from other planets while at peace. Working in more stats down the road would also help with the "semeyness" of some of the traits currently.

6) Robots seem to be a little lacking in variety for traits. Lots of unity but not much else kinky; I don't have any ideas on this right now, and as you say this is an early framework so I am sure you are aware of that.

6) Any chance of a version of the mod with the event pictures being resized into the normal stelaris window? I love the art you have chosen, don't get me wrong but it is a little jarring to me when these suddenly pop up on screen. It would be harder to see " the action" but would help with the games long term play-ability I think.

Again I want to thank you so much for this mod, it has made Stelaris worth playing again for me. I don't want you to think I am criticizing for my long post, I just want to get my input into a great project that I hope takes off.
