I find aMidianBorn Book of Silence SE and RUSTIC ARMOR and WEAPONS SE cover all vanilla armors except for Imperial's which has lots of mod replace it. Since those mods only change texture, you can expect them to work with any bodyslide preset. 1

First, thank you very much for bringing up the shortcut fix for SRA, I'm absolutely sure it'll help a lot of people following this build. As I look at it, it's not a big deal to recover the SRA meshes, but I realize there's plenty of room to disagree (about anything) and really, that's what modding's all about! So, just for 2cents worth, I have to say that one of the smaller among many reasons I came to the Aylis build was that it managed to abandon the aMidian/Rustic mold in favor of (potentially) some newer kickass armors and, in my personal opinion, SRA delivers. aMidian and RAW are great. They're mature mods with few problems. It's just that they've been around long enough for some to say btdt. Your point's well taken though and they might be better suited to a beginner frame - I guess that's up to Aylis. Unlike nexus, I just feel like it's better to keep raising the bar than to lower it. (Just musing here re Nexus) but where will new modders come from when everything comes down to picking which button to click? They've always been a mainstay for me in every list I've built so I thought it was interesting that they're completely absent here. Do they not play well with other mods in this list or does the list author simply dislike the changes they make?

We use several mods by Kryptopyr, If they are not included they have issues with them, it could be that the WAY the changes are made are inconsistent with the mod list, or there may have been a bug that cropped up during testing. Or, they just have not been tested in part with the mod list. And it honestly could be a texture thing, the textures in mod a don't play well with the clutter in mod E. Since i don't remember them even being talked about, they may have been overlooked, Hence why we promote mods for consideration to Aylis. Just glancing through the thread for CCOR compatibility seems several people are having issues getting xp when they craft or smelt ores, and some are getting CTD when crafting, that alone could be enough to drop consideration since this list is for as stable a game as possible. with 600ish mods. 1

akadeadpool Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 I am using CACO and CCOR now. They work ok but to do so you have to take out some of the mods in this modlist because they overlap in functions. In other words, the override section will need an overhaul. There is also the issue with patches. There is kryptopyr's Automated Patches but you still need to rerun all of the patches in this modlist to be sure. Also use LOOT to see if you lack any patches. Another factor is that there are many mods out there that can replace CACO and CCOR although you will need multiple mods to do so.

It does a lot of things. True 360 degree movement, better swimming, target lock, head tracking, boss health bars, better camera support with horse riding... It is not compatible with TK Dodge or a couple other things on this guide. But an impressive achievement. The mod page is really well done with animated GIFs by a promising new author. Worth a look. It has 458 comments already just today! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/51614 2) MCM Helper: This second mod is like a framework to allow saving and reusing MCM settings for multiple play-throughs. Mod authors will need to re-write their MCM's to be compatible, so we will see if it takes off, but it comes with support for remembering SkyUI settings already. At a glance, I see that MCM Helper offer easier coding experiences but until new mods use it or old mod got support with this mod, I won't be too excited.

Spoiler Where exactly did you stop, are there ANY warnings in MO2? like this Spoiler (I turned off my 3bbb to get the warning) I disabled all of my mods back to that point and didn't have a warning. Disable all of the NPC section mods you already have installed and see if you still CTD. Keep backing up until you no longer CTD. (you can shut off 5 at a time to make it faster) let us know which mod is causing the crash, we may have an older version in our archives that may work better. WHEN it crashes is also important. Does it crash before the logo, or after, does it crash at the menu when you hit new, or does it start to load and crash? If it will not even get to the logo you have a missing master and should have a warning about it in mo2. The rest of the crashes are related to things like animation count or missing meshes, (ie crash at menu into game is one of those two, since you have not installed any animations yet, you have a missing mesh somewhere. The amount of work put into the first page and the helpful responses throughout this thread are incredible. I never would have even attempted to integrate this many mods together without it. I followed the instructions as close as I could and came out with a modded game that seems to be working almost flawlessly. I just have 2 issues that no amount of googling, searching, or messing with plugins seems to be able to solve. The first is the red box around flames that I've seen others report. Supposedly it was fixed by using the Red Glow Eliminator patch, but that hasn't fixed it for me. Though annoying, I can ignore it for the most part. The other, more disappointing, issue I'm having is with SexLab. As far as I can tell, everything is working as expected except for one specific thing: the animations themselves. I'm having the issue where the characters just stand next to/inside one another. Everything else around the whole process seems to work. They move to the location, undress, facial expressions change, sounds play, particle effects happen, the stages advance, they finish, get dressed, and move freely again. It's just that during all of that, they're standing around, and maybe doing an idle animation. I didn't see any errors in the console. The animations are enabled and registered. I can see it pick an appropriate animation, it just doesn't actually seem to play. I followed the FNIS/Nemesis instructions, The other animations added seem to work fine (TK dodge, jump, the gender specific animations, conditional idles, etc). It's just the sex lab animations. I've cleaned, registered, and rebuilt the animations but no change. The only thing I haven't done is redo the FNIS/Nemesis stuff, but I'd think since the other animations are working, the issue isn't there. The only questionable things I can find are in the SexLab MCM System Requirements the FNIS SexLab Framework Idles are ? (and the Creature Idles but I didn't install that framework). I also wasn't sure when following the instructions if I was supposed to leave FNIS disabled after creating the 2 output mods (I did). I'll probably try redoing FNIS next, but I hope I don't break things. The only other thing probably worth mentioning is I'm using Advanced Follower Tweaks. I didn't see it listed as incompatible anywhere and it seems to be working fine. Not sure if that's normal or not. Edit 2: Okay, thinking about it, I'm pretty sure I did the FNIS/Nemesis install step before I added any of the LL section files. I'm in the process of redoing that. You may want to include a note somewhere in the OP to wait on installing those 2 until some point towards the end. It seems obvious once you understand how everything works together, but as a newbie going through this for the first time, it can be misleading. Now I just need to figure out what is causing my fire issue. Edit: Aaaaand I think I finally solved the fire issue, too. I had tried reinstalling Embers XD countless times with different options and it never seemed to make a difference. (is it random (stack crash) or can you replicate it in the exact same spot every time (missing mesh)? Was it a new playthrough or did you do it mid-game (anything past the live another life prison cell is considered mid-playthrough)? 1

This looks like it will take forever Depending on server download speed and your connection it will be about 14 hours of downloads, plenty of time to read the 275 pages of issues, questions and fixes. my suggestion is download an entire section (except textures, do those 10-20 at a time) install all of your downloads and go to the next section. You can skim it down to about 8 if you skip 80% of the textures section (not recommended but hey, it's your game)

akadeadpool Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 (edited) @Aylis or anyone use mods that change vanilla weapons, especially unique weapons, you should consider moving MLU to priority before those mods as MLU at current position will override all your weapon mods (unless there is MLU patch like ROM mod). One such affected mod in this modlist is Unique Thane Weapon. How you resolve this conflict, I'll leave it to your own. Mod suggestion: - For people who dislike MorrowLoot encounter zone changes, consider using Arena - An Encounter Zone Overhaul, load this mod after MLU to change ez back to work somewhat like vanilla but still difficult. - Unique Items Tweaks: cover the rest of unique items that ROM does not.
