Nope.

 

I tested 'Hunterborn', and it was working fine, but it is imho not that much fun. On one hand it adds to the realism, on the other hand it only adds extra steps to achieve the (almost) same results as without it.

In case you haven't guessed, I'm a survival enthusiast.  Which needs mod on Nexus would you use?  Where would you put it?  (Next to "Dirt and Blood"?)  And would you put Hunterborn in the same location?

Just curious. For those using Skyrim 2018 by Pfuscher and Skyrim 2020 Parallax:

 

Did it affect anyone's FPS or stutter? I deactivated it months ago while troubleshooting performance issues. Then installed some of the similar mods from this modlist. FPS and smoothness went up a lot.

 

Of course, I used 2018, 2019, 2020 and most of the extras. And there have been updates since then. And I see that there are specific instructions here on what parts to install.

 

So I am curious what others have observed...

@wollboi @jaeos thank you both!!! hitting up a forge did fix it, I was worried it was something I'd installed. Performance is otherwise looking so good that I'm definitely ready to upgrade to 3.1.6. It all looks REALLY great. I also found that with my setup I've got spare power to use Parsec to play remotely (i've got really fucked up hands and I have another computer with inputs that are easier for me to use but none of the specs) and I've found that some slight tweaks to the enb ini makes the whole thing way easier to play with the degraded visual quality-- the darkness levels work REALLY well if your monitor can output rich blacks, but less specialized monitors just cannot do it. Other than that I just catch myself looking at scenery for long periods of time and rediscovering parts of the game that just looked unremarkable or that I didn't realize were even accessible because of how well designed they are now.

Yeah, the overwrite mods & archives are what I use to update my FNIS/Nemesis/Bashpatch. Strangely, neither BD nor the Bikini replacer seem to put any files into overwrite though when I run bodyslide. Still not entirely sure where they put them. Might be the CBBE folder after all

Nvm, thought the problem was fixed but it is not.

I reinstalled all mods & meshes and while the robes work again, BD's replacer does not. Or rather, not fully. It overwrites some files but not others. I think the reason is that it does not actually overwrite NordWars vanilla female armors because the files are named differently. Which is weird for several reasons.

 

Does the game recognise multiple formats? (e.g. meshes/steel/f/cuirass.nif   vs.   meshes/armor_replacer/steel/armor1_F0.nif) How come they are both supposed to overwrite the same vanilla files when their names are so different? Also BD's folders contain .tri files while NordWars do not. Is this relevant?

 

Then again, the Bikini Robes DO overwrite all other mods when placed correctly, even though according to MO2 they overwrite nothing. They dont even have meshes. If its not that, then what determines which outfit will be used ingame?

 

I'm very confused.

 

Edit: Upon further testing NordWar wins out for all files where it has folders (Leather, Iron, Hide, Steel, Ebony etc) while BD wins out for the rest (clothes, robes and more special armors, like Stalhrim or Dragonbone). This is what I would expect if NordWar was below BD's in the load order, but it is the other way round

Check the various male/female mesh paths in the esp, they can overwrite base game files even if the file names themselves are different.

Was wondering if is is a known problem or something else is causing it ? i used to play the old sexlab light for Skyrim SE i now uninstalled al mods regarding Sexlablaight and installed Sexlab for Skyrim SE my game also is updated to latest version now whenever the player character is involved when the animation start the game looks like it is completely lockedup and it take sometime till the animation triggers but when npc vs npc are involved they play super fast any idea how i can fix this ?

None and they'd belong into 'Override'.

With 2K it improved the FPS. Together with 'Majestic Landscapes' it works fine even on my old Radeon 570.

It took some time but the weeks preparing the update worked out nicely in the end. Happy you like it. :)

Try removing the vanilla replacer from NordWarUA.

You can't. As long as we have to use FNIS it stays that way. Nemesis helps, but still doesn't get rid of it completely.

So the lockup is caused by Fnis ? this never happend before in Skyrim LE what has changed in Skyrim SE that makes this lockup happen ??

never heard of nemeses before will see if that actually works better then FNIS..

Already did that, in fact I disabled all armor mods except BD's replacer. Still missing those basic armors. There are definitely meshes for them though and I tried both using the premade bodyslides that come with the installer (which happen to be for my chosen bodytype cbbe curvy anyway) as well as building them myself via bodyslide

Really not sure what could be overwriting it at this point. Might also be a bug with the mod itself but I didn't find anything about that on the nexuspage. Also posted my problem there (I usually try to keep questions contained to the help thread for the mods themselves)  but so far no answers.

The only other reason I can think of is that I messed up something in more basic files. CBBE has a bunch of armor meshes (although i unchecked the option to overwrite vanilla armors in FOMOD) and it's also much higher in the LO anyway. Other than that I know of no mod that changes similar files and MO2 shows no conflicts/overwrites. "Overwrite" is also empty

There are quite a few factors and FNIS plays a big role. So far we mainly got converted animations and mods from LE. Newer things work fine, but the converted ones tend to cause a bit of lag and those simply add up. Nemesis makes that all faster but doesn't cover all so we're stuck a bit.

 

Sadly OSex/OStim isn't ready yet (there are missing some features) and Nemesis got the same problem...

thanks for explaining this part when the lockup happens i thought the game just froze but it was still ok i jut needed to wait it out and then the animation plays correctly.

 

but what i found strange is why the lockup dont happens when npc vs npc are involved ? it will instandly play the animation without it locking up.

 

btw when installing nemesis do i have to uninstall FNis or can these 2 work together even though you only use nemesis ?

They can work together, just read the instruction regarding these mods on the 1st page. It's quite simple so you don't need to worry about messing up.

And murphy strikes...

So i finally got around to moving along the Yurianna questline, went to markath, entered dibella's temple.. and CTD..
loaded back up, repeat.. entered temple, passed between statues... CTD
loaded back up, repeat.. entered temple, went around statues as I entered... no CTD... so left the same way..
went back in and CTD immediately.. guessing a conflict maybe with the Dibella Sisterhood maybe since Yurianna edits those same areas which I was not aware of (first time using this mod).

Ill dig around on it, especially as i spent a lot of time fixing the various armor pieces it adds to work with the body preset I use, so I am invested at this point.

Hopefully I can leverage some of the patience Aylis has on troubleshooting bugs :D

Try adding it above 'Dibella Sisterhood'. Also someone mentioned that the meshes of the statues might now cause a problem. Wish i knew where that one was... ?

Correct, the conversion I've tried at first had problems with statues and some facegen would cause CTD, I've started from the LE files and my verison should have no issues https://www.loverslab.com/topic/120107-skyrimlldeepbluefrog-mods-conversion-to-sse/?do=findComment&comment=3301573

I tried to get "Unique Uniques Re-ported" to work but I had issues from the start.  I had CTD from loading into my save with the appropriate patches from it's FOMOD but had no idea if I should leave the patch plugins with the .esp mirroring the weapons section just adding it all there or move it's patches towards the bottom in your patches section. @Aylis

No idea as i don't use the mod. Although i assume it overlaps/conflicts with 'Reliquary of Myth - Artifact Overhaul' and/or 'Unique Thane Weapons'

Can I aske about the mod Haste that has been added to the maybe added to the list of the mods? Especially how it works with other mods that do the same things e.g.  Convenient carriages (carriage prices), Ars metalica (smithing levelling via tanning smelting and mining) any info would be appreciated. @Aylis shouldn't need anything else, unless it's a patch for conflicts with other mods. Haven't had any more CTDs with Sisterhood since converting in "manually" with nifoptimizer and octagon.
