modball Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 I was updating GS animations in GSPoser.json to use with Poser Hotkey Plus (easy enough) but struggling with how to add the objects (GSMehrunesrazor etc.) to GSPoses Module.esp. Attempted to mimic the entries contained in_GSPoses.esp for object placement but I seem to be missing an important step or two. Does anyone know of a decent tutorial (either CK or if possible TES5Edit) for this specific task?

Jinxxed0 Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 For some reason, no matter what I do, when i have the pose pack installed, my game crashes. I've fun FNIS and I've successfully installed a ton of other poser packs with no problems and there's no errors with FNIS. Everything looks good. I've put the esp all over my load order, but I just get a CTD when i either start a new game or load a save. When I uninstall it (and run FNIS again) everything is back to being fine. When Installing I've tried saying no to overwriting and yes to overwriting as well. I'm guessing it's a conflict with a mod I have, but I have way too many merged mods to list them all. there's over 1,000+ installed. I saw someone list requium as a load order issue, but I don't have that mod. Maybe there's another common mod causing this issue? I have Poser Hotkeys Plus and I'm thinking that's whats causing the issue. but I'm not sure.

FNIS XXL allows you to install more animations than Skyrim's engine can handle. The crash on new game part is the biggest indicator animation load is the problem. FNIS doesn't produce any errors. I'm also way under the limit.

I'm also way under the limit. What I mean is - FNIS XXL will allow you to install up to 20,000 animations. "Skyrim" will simply stop working at between 11,000 and 15,000 animations, depending on your combination of mods and animations. FNIS can't currently make the calculation to tell you if you've gone over that line - but if you are crashing on new game, you are past it and need to trim down your animation mods. 1

I've noticed that animation count and total of hkx files in Mb are not the only factors but have never found a decent description of what is actually happening to cause CTD related to animations. Dynamic allocation... is that when memory runs out or bus/CPU can't keep up with demand.. something along those lines?

I thought you had to use the SLAL to get the animations working. When looking at the shouts and it said "Player" I thought those worked only on the player. Did not realize they where the "Execute" action. My mistake. Great work.
