GIMP's free, the other two i mentioned however, are paid. Except Aseprite has a git, i think? And it's free if you can compile it yourself. Quite the challenge.

I wish I could favourite forums and posts so I don't lose them, like this post you just linked to, and the post you made replying to my question about NPC gender modification at birth, as well as that post that solved my issue with the defeat mod a week or so ago, that was on page 15 of one of the forums. Oh well. I may just be dim as a dying flame but I'm sure I'll find a solution. I'll give the post you linked a thorough reading (still need to finish editing the sextalk dialog but that can wait for now)

One final question, when you post the screen shots of the code, how did you get it to look like that? black background, yellow correct characters, and white incorrect characters?

Notepad++ allows you to set a language, even on non-code files. If you open anything that isn't a .lua Starbound, usually setting it to JSON will help you understand what you're looking at, and i set even the LOG files to LUA so i can see some highlighting and ETC. You can also change the themes, and that helps a lot. Like, from blinding white, to old-school deep-blue, to dark-mode.

Speaking of, One of the things I want to learn from that hasn't been made yet XD It's the: "Custom Artworks & Replacements" Section, as I want to learn how to make sprites for Sexbound :3 maybe learn how to make animations if I am able

I'm not exactly sure how to go about asking this, but.. is there anything that'd cause a race to stop using their unique dialogue during sex?

The current avali support mod (The one without breasts, "floofy raptor" mod.) gives avali specific lines. I just switched from a 3.0 era version of Sexbound to 4.1.0, and now my avali don't say any of their unique dialog during sex. If I wasn't using extended dialogues, they wouldn't say anything at all anymore. It seems to be specifically happening in 4.1.0 only. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Incase it helps, I've attached my log. I've looked over it myself and don't see any errors, but maybe someone here will see something I don't.

... well, odd that you'd ask for help here and not on the Avali support thread, but yeah. I see the issue, odd that nobody said anything yet, or commented on missing the dialogue, but yeah. I'll do a quick fix.

I didn't notice this on my end, probably because i was testing with expanded dialogue...

So, to patch the dialogues into each position, you need to patch the position file. Problem is, at some point during the transition, i missed that the positions were moved to their own sub-folders within the positions folder. This is because they have lots of variants now. "Standing", "Standing in bed", "Standing mini" etc. The patch files that try to patch into a non-existent file don't error, so i never noticed the issue...

Ah. I'll go follow the thread for the extended dialogue in case you update it to address the positioning issue.
Though I swear the formatting for the dialogue has changed, though that might just be a non-issue that I only assume would be an issue. A~nyway.

Sorry, I didn't know which was the better place to ask, and it was rather late where I live when I made the post so I probably didn't think it through to the fullest either. Thank you in advance for the fix, whenever it may come out!

I think i have a rare issue but i dont know what mod or archive causes it

 

It Makes the head invisible when im using a sexnode and it disturbs me.

 

P.D : im using frakin universe and other races mods that have their respective sxb patch, i dont have images because the computer i use isnt mine and has a Password cuz i turned it off :T

Usually caused by having a older Sexbound support, not meant for the current version. Usually, legacy supports do this. You can check if there's a updated version of the species involved in this issue (You or the NPC that is having it's head disappear, one of the supports is outdated) or just send the .log file found within the /storage folder. That usually answers all we need to know.

Alright, you have few mods but lots of problems seem to be cropping up, so lemme list a few notable issues. I don't know why i'd need to DM you? These are issues anyone can have and everyone can read to know better.

 

So:

  • Yoru support has some odd patches that break configs for Sextalk and Moans in some cases, also it tries to use Avali sounds, which means not having them also causes issues.
  • Your NaturallyHorny version is outdated and causes issues.
  • A lot of your supports have the "SexboundAPI" prefix, which is how they were named in the legacy days. You may want to double-check the version of the following supports: "Scorsheep", "Barometta", "Gardevan", "Everis", "Felin", "Draconis", "Ningen" and "Zombie".
  • Your Workshop install of Omnibrowser appears to be improperly packed. I'd recommend getting the local version installed manually instead.
  • Your futanari plugin file seems to be entirely missing?
  • Your artwork has been meddled with. You changed the settings or something? It's looking for "head" files in the wrong place and thus not finding anything. The file that controls this is the main sexbound.config. Currently it's set to "/<entityType>/<species>/head_<gender>.png" which isn't default nor the manual change for custom heads...

All that solved, your game should function as it is supposed to... also, i see FU errors, new ones too... Oh well. Can't help that.

welp the futanari file i moved it to other folder, the head i modified it to be compatible with the cutebound mod.

i can download those outdated mods because probably these updated and i didnt know,

the omnibrowser is a little complicated to explain for me because i tried the local and the workshop version separately and welp these didnt work but im going to see if now it works properly.

probably i will unistall some sxb patches and their respective races because sadly some of them are very messy. (yoru is a very strange cause but welp im not a specialist to modding)

there are no animations for 4 actors, so even if you did manage to get a object to fit them all... you'd likely just not see one of them.

 

As for the tables, aren't they by default Sexbound enable objects? You shouldn't need anything else, they should just work from the get-go, but table-top shouldn't work anymore.

Can someone point me out to the culprit of this error message here: "[Error] Application: exception thrown, shutting down: (AssetException) No such frame 'idle' found for alias 'idle.1'"

 

It happens seemenlgy at random. I am playing a Slime race and as far as I know there shouldn't be any incompatibilites.

 

I have tested my game with and without all of the mods from LL it still shows up. I thought it might have been FFS Dungeon encounters mod but it is not that either.

 

 EDIT: It looks like it was the problem with Enable Special Attacks mod. Beware of that when installing it.

... you DO have an absolute arsenal of mods, but i will oblige with helping with this specific error. But seriously, when you can, please clean out your invalid characters/deleted items, it helps with load times AND log readability.

So, yeah, i've highlighted a couple words i find have meaning, when reading the stack. Basically, since you said "Something happens at random and it crashes", i was wonder what event happens at random intervals during game, like maybe monster spawning.

So yeah, there is a monster in your planet, or in several planets, that maybe rare, and crashes your game when spawned it seems? That's all i can gather from that message. You have way too many mods for me to dig through, and plenty of errors among them, even before the game launchers. FFS is a nightmare for instance, vomiting a stream of errors every time.

Sorry i can't tell anything particularly useful form this error, like what monster it is but at least that's something.

Hello!

 

So i've read through a lot, and have spent a lot of hours editing documents and moving around but i couldn't fix my issue.

 

Mutiple parts of the ZIP file crash my game, despite having not been edited in any way. The PAK version works fine, but i was looking to make the cuter mod file edit. I have no idea what causes this issue as it has never affected me beforehand. Is there any mod conflicts that weren't mentioned? My SB is up to date and i'm on windows 10.

Hello and welcome. So, to make sure you and me understand the issue, a log is recommended, sent into the Forums. As for the question, there are several incompatibilities to Sexbound, within this forum. I don't know of any workshop mods that are incompatible of the top of my head.

Sorry if it's been asked before. Are there any plans on adding new animations? Just curious since there are allot of different kinks and positions out there and was just wondering if there are any plans on it. I know allot of you are busy and all that but I felt like it doesn't hurt to ask. Sorry if I sound pushy or demanding.
