None are the latest, which is the one that just looks like a text file and is called Starbound, nonetheless, they provide some insights on what maybe going on;

You have frackin' Races and some of the races appear to not be supported, this subsequently breaks other mods, so i don't know what to advise to you there;

Other than that, i see some error codes referring to language issues and generally not loading dialogs; Which is odd, the errors i'm seeing shouldn't be possible. I'd recommend you re-download the API and check if it's a issue with random file corruption, since frames errors, and code errors that aren't normal are popping up across some of your logs. If all else fails you can always download the UNPAK and see if that solves itself, sometimes it does, both Starbound and Computers are finicky at times...

General advice out of the way, the mod "Sexbound patch villagers" is also outdated and could be interfering, so there's that. That's all i could gather, only other outdated mod thus far is Naturally Horny, but it shouldn't cause This.

Hey I'm probably stupid and this is probably the wrong place to ask but here I go anyway.
Red, if I wanted to use your unfinished expanded dialogue, would I replace the dialog files in SxB or just extract it as is?
Or does it just not work? Replacing SxB's dialogue files makes the game throw up JSON exceptions in the log. But maybe it did that before, iunno. If it doesn't work at all I will be sad for 2 and a half minutes. If needed, I could grab my log, but I doubt there's any conflicts, it's just dialog.
...right? Since I'm posting though, I might as well tell all of the modders that I appreciate you and what you do, please continue.

Usually, you'd replace the files in the dialogue folder. But this of course requires you to manually do it again every update. Be sure you are replacing the exact same files, and not just placing them in there within a new folder.

 

There are a ton of unfinished dialog in there though, and more than likely some of it will cause errors as you mentioned. Heck, even on my end it freaks out all the time even if it IS working so ?‍♂️

 

And if you still have problems with it, by all means, feel free to post some logs. I'm sure i'll have to download and clean up the latest dialogues anyway, Rylasasin has been at work making new ones, but i don't he tested them quite yet, so it's bound to have some hiccups in there.

 

And aye, thanks for the support and appreciation. I'm sure the modders helping with the lewding of many things all appreciate the appreciation aswell lol-- i'll be sure to tell them.

Thanks, Red. I know the floran dialogues were scuffed, but that coulda just been me being an idiot.
I'll try it again, and if it keeps messin' up, I'll DM you a log or two, probably just the excerpt of the error. For now, I shall get back to performing wholesome deeds.

So the pregnancy fetish thing is disabled by default and in the FAQ it says how to enable it, but it gives instructions for an older version. Upon looking through the LUA for the latest version the setting is not there to be changed.

Am I missing something? The only other place it shows up is here:

I enabled it on the newest version, it's riiight...

Sadly i haven't had much luck getting it to work without making new characters, if that's the same issue you're having... And i've looked through the code trying to fix it too. For now this is sadly, a required restart.

Before you delete your player. Let me try to fix what causes this error when using a different language. If you switch to using the English language it might fix your problems in the mean time. Sorry, I couldn't really provide better language support than this due to the way Starbound require JSON files without a way to check if files exist or not.

Give v3.11 a try. The change that I made back then is I tried to offer better support for customizing monster dialog without having them fallback to use humanoid dialog.

Hiya, recurring poster oop haha.

I have a two-part. For part 1, I searched through the forum and couldn't find much about futa and pregnancy. I've looked through a bunch of the .lua and .configs, but I can't find much about futas being able to impregnate females. I've heard the pregnancy module is a bit "janky", but regardless if there's anything one right recommend to help out that'd be awesome. I set the pregnancy rate to 100% for testing, and I just can't get my Futa character to knock up any females (although the cumming sequence plays out nicely).

 

As for part two, I'm a pixel artist and I would love to see some of my favorite races (specifically deerfolk and taurikin) have support for Sexbound, would I send Sprites to the Sexbound author or should I contact the actual race mod authors?

Sorry in advance if this seems beginner or silly, I'm relatively new to Starbound modding.

I believe Sexbound Tweaker allows females/futas to impregnate.

Aaand you should contact the race mod author if you can. If you can't, you can go ahead and make a compatibility mod, just be ready to shut it down should you receive a denial.
You can make your own if you're up to the task, or just wait. Don't contact Loc for that though. There's a link from Red3dred not too far up, that's got a tutorial on it on how to add a race I believe.

As posted above, i think SxB Tweaker might help? I haven't particularly tested futa but in theory it should work, so yeah, shout at me if it still doesn't work even after installing it. You shouldn't need to enable "female impregnators" either.

Now that that's already out of the way; Taurikin i believe is made by Skittles and Deerfolk already has permission, so technically both have allowance to be made. The link right below your post linking to the tutorials should help, and feel free to ask any questions about it. If you're wondering why the ?️, it's pretty simple. I've spent several weeks trying to work on that, and i can only describe the project as Cursed, not due to difficulty directly, but just how many bad things happened every time i attempted to work on it. Feel free to free me of this curse.

How much work would it be to make positions specifically for f/f interactions? Currently positions seem to be catered to f/m and they don't really make sense unless the females are wearing strapons. There are a few I'm thinking of, mainly a standing cunnilingus, laying down cunnilingus, tribadism, a laying and a standing makeout, a fingering or fisting position, and maybe one specifically for breastfeeding even if lactation isn't a thing yet. Come to think of it, lactation and a milking machine/milk affects during sex would be awesome. If possible then futas could share a few female positions while keeping some male ones.

 

There also seems to be a little issue with pregnancies between races. Hylotl/florans seem to produce hylotls with floran voices, but during sex the seem to change fully into florans. Don't know if this is intended or being worked on.

... that's... peculiar. I'll have to test that but lol, how ironic! The races that hate each-other the most seem to glitch the hardest.

Well, there is currently no logic in the positions interface to control what positions are/aren't allowed. So we either have penetration animations without penetrations when it's female/female, or rubbing animations with males rubbing their "balls", either on other males or females... Which is arguably even more awkward. But hey, i'll ask Loc if the logic isn't too terrible to implement, it'd be useful to have.

Took me a while to answer, but currently? Nah. Not easily. You'd have to rewrite scripts to get it to happen now. A bit of loss of functionality, sadly.

2) Is there a mod or something that allows you to capture an npc with a capture pod? I'd imagine some great slavery themes working with this.

 

3) Is it Sexbound that allows NPCs to be damaged by the player? I've been scratching my head at what's been causing this.

1) You'd essentially need a mod that removes males from the game and replaces all entries with females... For all clothing. That's a bit daunting not gonna lie, but someone could automate it and get it done for you, since you don't even need new files, just gotta rename some files or change the assigned PNG in the clothing files... But as far as i know, one such mod does not exist yet, but it's perfectly possible to make it. Same of all that goes for the Sexbound part of things.

 

2) Nope, not that i know of. Long standing challenge of the SB modding community. Could probably be done, but hasn't been done in what, 6 years now? Never say never, but also get a chair if you plan to sit and wait.

 

3) A number of things causes this. Some weapons/projectiles make NPC's able to be damage regardless, even the player that fired them sometimes. Some NPC types are just... able to be harmed from the get-go, even if they're passive/friendly. While a last option refers to stealing furniture from nearby, which makes all NPC's in a range "hostile" towards you. There maybe more mechanics here depending on what mods you have installed (EG: Frackin' Universe's madness mechanics) but those are the ones i know off the top of my head.
